Remember the Titans

Hey Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day and having a good week!

 In celebration of Black History Month, I have decided to write about Remember the Titans, which is about two teams of different people and colors coming together and becoming a team and friends together.

 The movie Stars Denzel Washington, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Hurst, Wood Hurst. 

The movie starts off with Coach Yoast Daughter Cheryl narrating the story of how two football teams became integrated. 

Bill Yoast is the new Integrated T.C. Williams High School in Alexandra Virginia , He just started Summer Workouts with his football players when he is informed  Herman Boone a black head coach who was originally hired to coach the city’s Black High School Team, has been assigned to Bill’s coaching staff instead. 

After he learns this there is an attempt to placate rising racial tensions and the fact that other high schools in Alexandria are white only, despite the abolition of racial serration in public schools the school district decides to name Boone the head coach.

Boone at first refuses the job because he thinks it’s not fair to Yoast who is a successful who is nominated to the Virginia high school of fame. 

He then changes his mind and decides after seeing what it means to the community of black people.  

After Yoast learns Boone accepted the job he tells his football players he tells his players he accept a head coach position elsewhere, his players tell him they will boycott the team if he is not their coach. 

He is dismayed at the prospect of the Students losing their chance at a scholarship, Bill changes his mind and decides to accept Bone’s offer to serve as his defensive coordinator, Later in the movie we see Coach Boone holding his first team meeting with mostly black students in the school gymnasium, which is interrupted by Yoast and several white students.

 Yoast informs Boone of his decision about the team, Boone warns Yoast and tells him he won’t tolerate him undermining him. 

It is now August 15th and the players journey to Gettysburg College for Training camp. Early on in the camp the football players are clashing with each other, in racially motivated conflicts, especially between the two Captains Gerry Berteir who is white and and Julius Campbell who is black. 

However through very hard training, forceful coaching, and a motivational early morning run to the Gettysburg National Cemetery followed by a very emotional speech by Boone,  the team comes together and returns as a united group. 

It is now time for their first football game , before the game starts Boone Is informed by a member of the school board that even if he loses a single game, he will be dismissed. 

Good news subsequently, the titans go undefeated while battling racial prejudice and gaining support for the community.

It is almost time for the state semi -finals , Bill is told by the chairman of the school board that they arranged for the titans to lose so Boone can be fired and dismissed and Bill will once again be the head coach. 

The game starts and during the game , the referees are making unfair calls against the titans.

 Bill is seeing the chairman and other board members of the school looking on with satisfaction, Bill marches onto the field to warn the head referee that If the game is not officiated fairly, he will expose the whole scandal to the press.

 After his talk with the reff, the titans shut their opponents and advance to the state championships.  Bill is told by the Very upset Chairman that the actions he made in saving Boones Job have resulted in him losing his Hall of Fame nomination. 

Later in the evening the titans are celebrating the victory , Gerry is severely injured in a car accident and is paralyzed from the waist down. Despite the loss of the All-American Linebacker , the team mounts a comeback in the fourth quarter of the state championship and wins the title. 

Ten years go by this time Gerry dies in another car crash caused by a drunk driver , after winning the gold medal in the shot put in the Paralympic Games.

The opening scene of the beginning of the movie Is the funeral scene of Gerry where all his teammates and and former football coaches are Julius who Gerry’s mother didn’t like at first is now holing her hand as he leads the team in a mourning rendition of Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye.

There are a few dramatic scenes that happen in the movie, and a couple inspirational teaching moments that happen in the movie too. 

The movie will really touch and move your heart in a good way. 

I decided to write about this movie because it shows how people of different color and races can come together and be friends.

  It reminds me of the speech Dr. King Made how he had a dream that White People and black people would come together and be united and work together as a team. 

And in this movie it shows his dream coming to life and they become united and became friends. I also decided to write about this movie because Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors and I enjoy his movies he did an outstanding job in this role he played. 

My favorite scene from the movie is when Sunshine Defends Rev from one of the football players and his teammates say don’t mess with Sunshine. 

You will see it when you watch the movie he gets inspiration from his coach. My Other favorite scene is when they dance on the football field and they say we are the titans the mighty mighty titans. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch  a good sports movie.

The Proposal

Happy Valentine's  Day!

 I hope you all have a wonderful and amazing day, I have decided to write about the movie the proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds,  Betty White

The movie starts off with Margret Tate who is from Canada and she is an executive editor in chief of a New York Publishing Company, and the way she displays her personality no one really likes her, or talks to her very much.

She learns from her boss that her visa renewal application has been denied due to a visa term violation and that she faces deportation back to Canada. 

Her assistants name is Andrew Paxton, he is her underpaid assistant she doesn't want to lose her job or her life in New York she tells him to marry her so she can get her green card.

 To also to get him to agree to marry her she tells him if she is deported his years as being her assistant will be lost, and forgotten it will set his dream back of becoming an Editor. 

A Us Immigration Agent named Gilbertson informs them that he suspects that their engagement is fake and that they are committing a Fraud to avoid Margaret's deportation. 

He explains to them they will each be questioned about each other separately. If their answers don't match each other Margaret will be deported to Canada permanently, and Andrew will be convicted of a felony,including a 250,000 fine and five years in prison.  

Before he agrees to officially marry her he insists that Margret make him an editor after their marriage and publish a book he has recommend to her and she accepts his offer.

 They travel to Andrew's hometown of Sitka, Alaska to meet his family which includes his mother Grace, and grandmother Annie who is known as Gammy. 

On the way to the family's home Margaret learns Andrew and his family are very wealthy, evidence by most business having the family's name on it. 

The family has a welcome home party that is where Andrew confronts his father Joe who is upset with him because he is dating the boss who he has disliked for a long time, he believes he is using her to get ahead in his career. 

After the argument is over, Andrew announces he and Margret are getting married, the next day Grace and Annie take Margret out for  her bachelorette party, she steps away from the party for a minute she comes across Andrew's ex girlfriend named Gertrude she tells Margret that Andrew wanted to become an Editor and make his own life, he proposed to her she didn't accept his offer because she didn't want to leave Sitka for New York. 

The following day the family convinces Andrew and Margret to get married. After Spending some Time with Andrew's family she realizes how close they all are, which moves Margret very deeply. 

 She gets on one of his boats, and she speeds away with Andrew, while on the boat she admits to him she has been alone since she was 16 when her parents died. and has forgotten what it is like to have a family.  She lets go of the helm and goes to the back of the boat, Andrew takes over the boat and  makes a sharp turn to avoid hitting a buoy, Margaret falls out the boat and Andrew saves her she can't swim. 

They make it back to the house and discover the immigration officer has contacted Joe and informed him of the possible fraud between Andrew and Margret. In response he flew the officer to Sitka where he offers them a deal, if they confess the marriage is a fake Margaret will be deported and there will be no further penalties, they refuse to accept the offer claiming to be in love. 

However the day of the wedding, Margaret touched by Andrew's family sincerity stops the ceremony and tells the truth to the guests and the immigration officer who tells her she has TwentyFour hours to return home to Canada. 

She returns to the house to pack her belongings, Andrew rushes to her room and sees she has already left and that she has left his book manuscript with a note of praise and promise to publish it. Gertrude comforts him and asks him if he is going to go after her. As he is on his way to find her he gets into another argument with his father Joe, a couple more dramatic scenes happen after this, it is a happy ending for everyone the movie will leave you with a smile on your face and joy in your heart, it will also keep you thinking what is going  to happen next in the movie? 

Everyone does an outstanding job in the movie you can really feel the characters who are the actors are portraying really come to life. 

I really like this movie because you see how Margaret's character transforms and changes as the movie goes along, you see how she is tough and strong on the outside, on the inside she is kind, caring, and has a desire to be liked and cared for she just has forgotten how to show love and kindness because she lost something that she loved and cared for very much, it was easier for her to be strong and a little bossy on the outside because that is what she has been doing since she was 16. 

I can relate to her through her strength,  there some events that have happened in my life where I have had to be strong, and tough because life can be hard sometimes even when life is hard you have to keep standing up and being the strong person and tough person that you are, and know that you can get through what life is throwing at you in the moment. 

I love how the family is showing love to each other throughout the movie , I am a big family person and  I love how my family is always there for me whenever I need them, I know they will always be there for me because they love me very much.  I am glad that God blessed me with a good, loving, kind, caring, big heart because I have so many friends and family that I can share my Love and Big Heart with and they share their love and heart in return to me. 

I also picked this movie because Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses I enjoy a lot of her movies, and this is one of my favorite ones. And it also reminds me of the love verse love is patient, love is kind, love is not proud, it keeps no records of wrongs. it’s not easily angered and rejoices with the truth. Corinthians 13. And always remember to be loving and kind to one another. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good rom-com.

A Cinderella Story

Hey Everyone! I hope you all are doing well and having an amazing 2024, I have decided to write about a Cinderella Story starring Hillary Duff, Chad Micheal Murray and Jennifer Coolidge Regina King.

The movie starts off with Samantha Montgomery she is being raised by her father who is a widow named Hal who runs a diner in San fernando Valley a Hurricane unexpectedly arises and Hal is trying to protect sam with the earthquake that is happening and he ends up dying and he doesn't leave a will for his daughter.

 He marries someone named Fiona and she has two daughters named who are twins named Brianna and Gabriella,and the community that she is living in has a drought, Fiona likes to have the water keep going on even though there is a drought.

 Sam and her best friend Carter are on their way to school, they are also bullied by the popular clique at school by a girl named Shelby she is like the queen of the high school they attend, after she is done with school she works at a diner because she wants to attend the school Princeton.

 When she was a little girl she told her father she wanted to attend Princeton because all the princes go there, when she is at the diner she is looked after Rhonda who is the longtime Manager at the diner.

She doesn’t know what he looks like and he has no idea what she looks like they seem to have a good and strong connection with each other she shares with him her dream about attending Princeton she wants to become a writer. 

Little does she  know Nomad is Austin Ames he is the cutest and popular boy at school, he is Shelby's boyfriend and he is an unhappy quarterback, his father expects him to attend college at the University of Southern California. 

Sam and Nomad make a plan to meet each other in Person at the Halloween dance they both wear a costume and wear masks they said that can be a way for them to find each other at the dance. 

Austin breaks up with Shelby, even though he broke up with her she still believes that they are still together.

Sam tells her stepmother Fiona about the dance she refuses to let her go and have the night off, Rhonda and Carter intervene and help Sam go to the dance Rhonda gives her a dress to wear that looks like a princess like Cinderella the dress she is wearing is Rhonda's old wedding dress and she gave her a mask to wear.

Austin is dressed as Prince Charming when they meet up with each other he revealed to her that he is Nomad he doesn't know who she is he doesn't recognize her under her mask, they share a dance together her friend carter has a special moment with Shelby after defending her from the unwanted Advances of Austin's friend, he is forced to drive Sam back to the diner before Fiona realizes she is gone.

Something happens on the ride back to the diner which you will see when you watch the movie it is a funny scene. 

As they head out of the dance Sam drops her cellphone Austin finds it at the dance he and Cinderella are named homecoming Prince and Princess. 

The Diner Staff Stalls Fiona and her daughters Sam arrives just in time, Back at School Austin is putting up Flyers in the school hoping to identify the mysterious Cinderella and Carter is Meanly rejected by Shelby Austin's friends present him with a crowd of Girls claiming to be Cinderella without success. 

He is accepted to Princeton he is unable to tell his father about the acceptation he visits the diner when he is there Sam tries to tell him the truth.

 Her stepsisters are going through her personal emails and find that she has been communicating with Austin.The twins  then present the email to Shelby, they convince her that Sam made a plan to steal Austin away from her, The School is having a pep rally Shelby and the twins perform an embarrassing and humiliating skit they expose Sam as Cinderella she runs home in tears. 

I don't want to give away the happy ending there is a happy ending for Sam and Austin, Sam quits the diner, And Fiona she takes Sam's acceptance letter from Princeton away she creates a fake letter and fakes sympathy she tells Sam she has a job at the diner for life.

Her friend Rhonda encourages to keep believing in herself and to not lose hope her stepsisters uncover a mural of wallpaper that has her dad's quote on it. 

Sam moves in with Rhonda all of the employees quit and leave as well. Sam confronts Austin at the football game for being Afraid to show who he really is, He sees Sam leave before the final part of the game, He stands up to his dad and runs after her, he apologizes to her and they share a romantic first kiss in the rain as the drought suddenly ends.

I decided to write about this movie because it is one of my favorite movies and in my Family and Closet Friends I am known as Princess Emerald.

 I like being Called Princess because it feels makes me feel like a real princess and it makes me feel special and royal. 

I believe that there is a Prince that God is creating special for me, I believe there is a prince for every girl who would like to have a prince in their life, I also believe the guy who has a special girl has treat them like a Princess or a queen because they deserve it and they should treat them with Respect and love and Honor. 

If the guy was raised right and taught right about how they should treat Women then everything will be ok. I have always dreamed of having a Princess Like Wedding One day with all my friends and family with me and it will be the most beautiful day.

 I would like to have my Wedding at Disney World because to me it is the happiest place on earth and it always makes me feel like a Princess and I never have any worries or stresses when I am there. 

I know when it is the right time in my Life God will bless me with the Special Someone for now I am going to keep praying for whoever that special someone is in my life and who will be my prince charming. Hillary Duff is also one of my favorite actresses she always does an amazing job in whatever movie she is acting in she puts her whole Heart and Spirit into her character when you see the movie it feels like the character she is playing is a real person in real life.

I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good and happy story that is sure to pull at your Heart-Strings. 

Stuart Little

Hey Everyone !! Happy New Year, I hope you all are having an awesome 2024. I have decided to write about the movie Stuart little.

 It stars Geena Davis, Jonathan lipnicki and Hugh Laurie.

 It is a very cute movie, the movie starts off with Fredrick and Eleanor going to an orphanage to adopt a child, their son George is so excited and happy to have a sibling someone he can play with and have fun adventures and different experiences with someone also he can talk to and share his heart and deepest secrets and feelings with. 

They were going to adopt a child instead they adopt an anthropomorphic mouse named Stuart , they go through the process and the all papers needed for adopting Stuart and on the way home they tell Stuart about his brother George and Stuart is looking forward to meeting him. 

Little does George know he’s not getting the sibling he was expecting he is very disappointed in the beginning because Stuart is not what George expected he would be and not what he looked like in his head.

George is not ready to except him as his brother yet, you will see as the movie goes along they start to get along and have a good relationship together.

 Stuart meets the House Pet Snowbell, Snowbell is very uncomfortable with being Stuart’s pet because he is a mouse and Snowbell is a cat, Cats like to chase mice and eat them, Snowbell can’t do that to Stuart because he is part of the family now.

 Eleanor decides to wash some clothes while she is doing that she accidentally closes the washing machine door on Stuart and he becomes trapped in there, he gets sick from being in the Washing machine and having the chemicals in his system.

Eleanor calls the doctor so the doctor Can check Stuart out and make sure he is ok. After the doctor appointment he is feeling much better. 

Stuart wants to try bond with George so they can have a good relationship and maybe even end up being friends and glad to be brothers.

 Stuart finds out from George that he likes boats he encourages George to enter the boat race and it’s something they could do and work on together.

George and Stuart start getting along really good and become friends after working together on the boat and communicating with each other and learning about each other, while they are bonding and becoming friends.

 Snowbell and his friend Monty meet with a rogue Alley Cat named Smokey to make a plan to get Stuart out of the picture and family. 

It’s the day of the race and Stuart accidentally breaks the remote control for the boat, Stuart manually controls the boat you will see how he does that in the movie. 

They end up winning the race. After the race some mice show up claiming to be Stuart’s biological Parents, they are named Reggie and Camille Stout, they till the Littles they had to give Stuart up due to poverty. The Littles reluctantly let Stuart leave with them.

I decided to write about this movie because it is one of my favorite movies, and it is a very cute story.

I really like how the family cares about each other and loves each other. My favorite scene from the movie is how they make a plan to rescue Stuart and bring him back to their family! I also like how they say hello and goodbye to each other you will see how they do that when you watch the movie! 

It reminds me of my family and how we all love and care about one another and how we are always there for each other. And how having a sibling can be fun because you can share adventures with them and different experiences with them. I have the best big sister ever! She is like a big sister to me we are very good friends. 

I like the movie because it reminds me of my childhood and brings me good memories. I know that you all will like this movie too once you watch it! 

The Sound of Music

Hey Everyone! Happy New Year!!!! It’s 2024. 

I have decided to write about the movie The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer and a whole wonderful cast. 

The Movie starts off with a young woman named Maria who is a free Austrian woman who is studying to be a nun at Nonberg Abbey in Salzburg 1938, Her Youthful Enthusiasm and lack of discipline is causing some concern at the Abbey. 

The mother at the abbey sends Maria to the villa of a retired naval officer Georg Von Trap to be the governess to his seven children Liesl, Friedrich, Louisa, Kurt, Brigitta, Marta and Gretl. 

The Captain has been raising his children under strict discipline since their mother passed away, they have had other governesses try to help take care of them and help them out they scared them away with tricks they played on them. 

They do the same thing to Maria, she responds to them with kindness and respect they slowly begin to trust and respect her.  

The Captain is away on a trip in Vienna while he is away Maria makes play clothes for the children and she plays with them and teaches them how to sing, the Captain returns with a baroness named  Elsa who is very rich and they have a mutual friend together named Max.

He doesn’t like his children’s clothes very much and the activities they have been doing. 

He doesn’t like that Maria tells him he needs to be closer to his kids, he attempts to fire her, he then hears children singing and it surprises him and it makes the baroness smile. 

 He loves it so much that he sings along with his kids and he hasn’t  sang with his kids in a long time he apologizes to Maria and asks her to stay with them.

  Max is impressed with the children’s  singing he proposes to enter them in the Salzburg festival, the Captain doesn’t want his kids singing in public he is a little uncomfortable with it. 

The Captain is having a party at his house and the kids and Maria are looking at the party from the Garden Terrace he sees Maria teaching Kurt the traditional dance folk dance he decides to step in and dance with Maria, they have a beautiful dance together and it ends in a nice embrace. 

Maria is a little confused about her feelings so she breaks away from him , the baroness sees how the Captain feels about Maria and how she feels about him and out of jealousy she tells her that it is time for her to go back to the abbey. 

The mother of the abbey learns that Maria has decided to stay in seclusion to avoid her feelings for the Captain, she encourages her to go back to the villa and look for her purpose in life.

 When she returns to the villa she learns that the baroness and Captain are engaged she agrees to stay until they find a new governess.

Later the baroness learns that the Captains feelings hasn’t changed for Maria. The Baroness peacefully and understandingly calls off the engagement to him and returns home to Vienna before she leaves she tells the Captain to tell Maria his feelings for her and they end up getting married to each other. 

The rest of the movie is very good and heart-warming. 

There are a lot of happy parts and some dramatic parts that happen close to the end of the movie and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I assure you it is a very happy ending and will leave you with a big smile on your face and a song in your Heart. 

I decided to write about the Sound of Music because I have loved music since I was little and ever since I can remember. Music has always been a part of my life when I was In School.

 I was always involved in chorus that was my favorite part of school getting to sing I was involved in chorus in all of my years of schooling. 

My favorite part of chorus was the concerts and the different songs we would sing I always loved the Hallelujah Chorus, that would be the last song we would sing before the concert would end. I love all kinds of Music my favorite genre of Music is Disney and Pop Music. 

I love a lot of songs from Disney If I could name a favorite Disney song it probably would be Friend like Me from Aladdin. 

I love that song. It has a really good beat and fun lyrics In the song. 

I also like the movie Encanto my favorite songs from that movie is Family Madrigal and we don’t talk about Bruno. I also love the Disney Cinderella Brandy Version my favorite songs from that movie is Impossible, In my own little corner and there is Music in You . 

I could talk about Disney Music all day it’s something that makes my heart very happy. I love Do, Re, Mi from Sound of Music and the good night song. 

Music always cheers me up whenever I am feeling down or having a rough day. 

I have a good ear for Music too when I am in a restaurant and I hear Music playing I usually know what the song is because I know a lot of songs. Julie Andrews is one of my favorite actresses.

 I love a lot of her movies. Especially the Princess diaries and Mary Poppins, she does an outstanding Job In that movie just like she did in the sound of Music. 

She has touched a lot of peoples lives and Hearts and I believe she has changed a lot of lives and inspired and encouraged a lot of people. 

The Sound of Music will make you fall in love with Music and singing if you aren’t already in love with it, it’ll give you a whole new perspective of Music and singing. 

My favorite scenes from the movie are when they Sing the Song Maria and how they are trying to come up with an idea to figure out what to do with Her.

 And I also love the song Do, Re, Mi, where Maria teaches the kids how to sing and they all have a lot of fun with singing the song. I also like the Goodnight song, and the song you are sixteen going on Seventeen.

 There are a lot of fun and good songs that you can sing along to when you watch the movie. Everyone put their heart and spirit into their characters and the movie. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movie and a good Julie Andrews Story.

 

This Christmas

Hey Everyone! I am so excited for Christmas!! It will be here soon! I have decided to write about the movie This Christmas! 

It stars Loretta Devine, Delroy linda  Idris Elba, Regina King, Laz Alonso, Sharon Leal, Columbus Short,Lauren Landon, Keith Richardson and Chris Brown.  

The Movie starts off with the family coming together and celebrating the holiday season together and happy to see one another.

 The head of the family the matriarch is Shirley Ann Whitfield She is called Ma"Dere  and she has a boyfriend named Joe and together they are joined by her six children. 

Her oldest Son Quentin hasn't been home in 4 years he is an aspiring musician like his father and he's always on the Go.  

Their Biological father abandoned them, the eldest daughter Lisa has some trouble with her spouse he cheats on her and she is also a housewife, they have two kids. 

The Uppity one Kelli she is a graduate from Harvard she is visiting from New York. Claude is a U.S. Marine and the baby girl Melanie is a seven year college student she is accompanied by her boyfriend Devan, and the baby of the family Micheal his family calls him (Baby) he is a photographer and an Aspiring musician.  

It is now Christmas Eve and the family is starting to arrive for Dinner that evening at 6;00. 

 The family finish eating dinner and everything is going fine and the conversations they are having with one another is going fine until Malcolm brings up to his wife Lisa they should all give up their share of the family owned dry cleaners and the rest of the family disagrees and because of that Kelli and Lisa break out in an argument. 

The family tries to calm them down and tells them that they will talk more about the dry cleaners when the whole family is together, Later that evening the oldest son Quentin arrives to see his family.

 Shirley Ann is elated to see Quentin, he starts talking with his family and then Joe appears into the room and he becomes distant and cold towards him and a little rude. He doesn't like Joe at this moment in time, when you watch the movie you will see that changes later in the movie.

In the kitchen Mel and Devan are talking she tells him that Senior left their family and became a musician. Quentin finds Joe later in the evening and he makes a threat to him,Joe leaves Quentin alone and Quentin plays the piano that Senior played in the garage.

Claude is attempting to sneak off to a club and the rest of the family sees what he is doing so they sneak off with him and join him, they see that Baby is singing at the club and is astonished to see that he can sing. 

Kelli and Gerald meet, they have an Instant connection with one another. Claude loses his temper with two guys who attempt to hit on his wife that his family doesn't know about yet her name is Sandi, he pulls out a gun causing the family to leave the scene at the club.

They make it back to the house baby is talking with his family and telling them to keep his singing a secret until he can tell his mom himself about his singing. 

The next day the guys are off looking for a christmas tree. The ladies are wrapping presents and Kelli confesses that she slept with Gerald. Mel tells Kelli to enjoy her little fling that she is having, Lisa chides her for being reckless.

 Lisa is becoming suspicious of her husband Malcolm who has to leave because of some problems at his job. Lisa then comes home with two Mo, and Dude, they are bookies who are owed money by Quentin. They want to beat him up until they see a police car nearby.

Meanwhile Claude is arrested, Lisa and her brother Quentin go to the station to fix the problem, Shirley scolds the family for not having dinner cooked or being prepared for Christmas. 

Lisa and Quentin return they tell everyone that Claude is Awol, the family is shocked and surprised to meet Sandi his wife. Mo and Dude are taking advantage of Quentin by eating with his family. 

Sandi talks to Mel Privately and explains to her why Claude is AWOL and eventually admits she is pregnant. Quentin confronts his mother about her relationship with Joe and how come no one didn't mention to him that she and his father Senior were divorced. 

Later that day, Kelli is talking with Lisa Outside and the events that took place, Lisa also tells her that even though she did not get a college degree, she had to help their mom with the dry-cleaning business when Kelli went to Harvard. 

Kelli admits to her that Malcolm is cheating, Lisa confesses to her that she already knows.Kelli tells her that sharing her man with someone else is pathetic, and they get into a little catfight in the rain. 

Mel breaks up the fight between the two she tells Kelli about Sandi's pregnancy and that Claude doesn't know about it. 

 Lisa totals her husband's car into the Los Angeles River. 

Gerald arrives at the house and he sleeps over with Kelli, Baby gives Quentin a christmas gift a scrapbook of christmas pictures before he has to go, Baby finally confesses to his mother that he wants to be a singer, she doesn't want to listen to any of that.

You will have to watch the rest of the movie to find out what happens with the Whtifield family, It is a very happy ending for everyone! You will enjoy the movie.

 It has a lot of good music in the movie and you can sing along with the songs that they play in the movie. It has a few dramatic scenes, some scenes that will make you laugh, and some scenes that will probably surprise you and keep you on the edge of your seat. 

I decided to write about this movie because it seems to be a movie that a lot of people are familiar with and like, A few of my favorite actors and Actresses are in this movie,  It also reminds me of my family when we all get together for an occasion or celebration and have a good time together.  

Family is always there for you and will always be by your side whenever you need them. I love my family very much, they are very protective of me and all love and care for me very much. 

They always put a smile on my face, I created a group text with my family and they all use it and it is a way to connect with one another even when we don't see each other in person . I have a wonderful Church family, they are all so loving and kind and have wonderful and amazing hearts, they always welcome you with open arms and make you feel right at home when you arrive at the church.

My favorite scene from the movie is when they have the Dance line, and the whole family take turns and go down the line one at a time and having a wonderful time with each other laughing and smiling. 

I love dancing, during that scene they do the bump with one another that made me laugh and smile I imagined doing the bump in my head! It is a good movie to watch and enjoy when you want to have a good laugh and something to brighten your day and make you happy! 

I also love singing like the character Baby Micheal from the movie, Singing brings so much joy and happiness to my Heart and spirit. 

I sang in Chorus for 4 years in High School and it was the best 4 years of my life and something that I will always treasure and people have complimented my singing voice and said I have a beautiful Voice! 

And one of my good friends from church said that I can really sing! That made me smile! Whenever you all have a chance check out This Christmas you will love it!

Black Nativity

Hey Everyone I have decided to write about the movie Black Nativity It Stars Forest Whitaker, Angela Basset, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J Blige, Jacob Latimore. 

They are an outstanding cast and do an amazing job in the movie, the movie is very heart-felt and a good warming story.

The movie starts off with Naima who is a single mom and raising her son Langston they are having a bit of a hard time and struggling a little. 

Naima is trying to make ends meet and provide for her son Langston with a heavy heart  she sends her son to spend time with her parents who she is estranged from at the moment. 

As you watch the movie they will go into that part as the movie goes on into the story, she sends him to his grandparents because they are about to be evicted from their house and she doesn't want langston to go through all of that trouble and struggle.  

While he is on the bus he talks to a man named Isaiah and then Langston sings a song Motherless child.He arrives to his destination and as soon as he gets there he gets his backpack stolen by a kid while he was trying to make a call to his grandparents .

He chases the kid and he ends up getting away so then Langston goes to a hotel. And he tries to get some help from the front desk at the hotel, the front desk tells him to wait a second he is helping another customer. 

The customer leaves his wallet on the desk and walks away and Langston sees his wallet on the desk, he at first thinks about stealing it, he knows thats the wrong thing to do he turns around and tries to tell the customer he left his wallet. 

Then he gets the wrong idea and thinks he is trying to steal it and the front desk calls the police and he is taken to jail, while he is in Jail one of the people in the cell starts talking to him and asking different questions like how he did end up in the cell? 

Langston tells him he stole a wallet, and the guy then starts teasing him and making fun of him and talks about his mom which makes him angry. 

He tells the person who we find out later in the movie his name is Tyson he tells him to keep his mama out of it because she has nothing to do with it. 

A couple minutes later one of the officers call his name and he tells Langston he has made bail, his grandfather bails him out this is their first time meeting each other. His name is Reverend Cobbs, while they are on their way back home they meet a girl who is expecting her name is Maria, you will see her character again a little later in the movie. 

Langston arrives at his grandparents house and he meets his grandma also for the first time. Her name is Aretha he is surprised about what his grandparents house looks like and how they are living and surprised to know they don't know a lot about him or his mom. 

His grandfather tries to bond with him he shows him a watch he got personalized from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Langston thinks the watch is very cool and interesting. 

You will not believe what he does next with his grandfather's beloved watch.The next morning he takes his grandfathers watch and takes it to a pawn shop to try to pawn it off and receive money for it . 

Little does he know the owner of the pawn shop knows his grandfather and his father. He tells him to take the watch back to his grandfather and to treasure it. 

Outside of the shop he meets the man who he was in the jail cell with he calls Langston Lunch Money. He is passing out flyers for the pawnshop owner and promises Langston he will procure him for whatever he wants.

 Langston is talking with his grandmother Aretha and asks her why his mom left. 

He thinks that he caused the fight and that is why she left, his grandmother tells him he was not the cause of the estrangement his father was the reason behind the estrangement. 

Langston was invited to go to church with his grandparents that evening. Before he leaves he finds the same man from his jail cell and who was at the corner of the pawn shop. He tells him he wants a gun. The Man then tells Langston to meet him at the same spot later that night. 

Langston arrives at the church and they start the play and he falls asleep and is having a dream about the play and he dreams he is a part of it and sees different scenarios in his head.

,Langston wakes up and leaves the church to go to meet the man who he shared a jail cell with. He shows him the gun he wants and Langston takes the gun and holds him up he wants him to give him a ring he saw earlier in a display case.

He also wants all the money from the cash register. Instead of doing what Langston asked he quotes a dream deferred to him he reveals he is Langston's father Tyson.

A police officer sees what is going on and he comes inside and Langston's father convinces him that they were having a very loud argument and that Langston was trying to get  him to go to church with him. 

The officer escorts them to church and that is where Langston sees his Mother Naima. 

The rest of the movie is very uplifting and strong! I decided to write about this movie because I love Christmas and I also love Music! 

My church and family are very Important to me.  Church and Family are very strong subjects in this movie.  

This movie really touched my heart and really encouraged me . It gave me strength and bravery I have been dealing with different fears in my life, and one of my fears was attending church alone.

 I know I am not alone because God is with me and he has not given me a spirit of fear,the scene that really encouraged and inspired my heart is when J-Huds character walks inside the church that she hasn't been too in a long time, she at first tells her son that she can not go inside the church he tells her yes she can so first her son walks inside the church and then his dad walks in last but last not least she then comes in strong and brave.

I was thinking to myself if J-Hud can walk into her church alone and by herself than I can walk into my church with my head held high. 

One Encouraging thing My Big Sister has said to me is That I am brave and that I can do it. I can walk into church even it’s by myself. I think I also have to believe in myself and know that I can walk into church even if I have to be myself.

Before I went off to school, I would say that they are going to hear me Roar 🦁 like a lion I think I have to get my Roar back and show myself that I am strong like a lioness and that I am Princess Emerald I am a brave Girl.

Jennifer Hudson is a very strong and gifted loving, kind, caring woman. She has been through a lot in her life, she still is walking by faith and holding on to God’s unchanging hand. She has a beautiful voice I know it touches God’s ears.

 I hope to meet her one day and tell her how much she has encouraged and inspired my life.  

She has come a long and magnificent way since American idol ! She is an EGOT Winner and has won other amazing awards, she also has a very good talk show that brightens a lot of peoples lives and hearts her show is a very happy place. 

One of my favorite scenes from the movie is When J-HUD drops her son off at the bus station, and she is singing a song about faith and how they both have to be strong for each other even through this hard situation they are going through. Everything will be alright in the end. 

The song 🎵 test of faith really speaks to my Heart 💜 because I feel like it fits with me and my situation that I’m going through right now.  The line that really speaks to me is when she sings In the Meantime I’ll be wishing on Stars 🌟 and mending my Heart.  

Little by little I know God is mending my Heart 💜 and making it better than it was before. Also I like it because my Grandfather would say keep the faith a lot. I’m going to keep the faith and let God keep mending my heart and healing my heart. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good strong Christmas movie.
