Confessions of a Shopaholic

Hey Everyone, I hope you all are having a happy April.

 I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Starring Isla Fisher, Hugh Dancy, Joan Cusack, John Goodman and a whole wonderful cast of people! 

The movie starts off with a narration and showing a little girl named Rebecca who was looking at shoes to buy for herself for school and other things.

She is the voice you hear in the beginning she was talking about different prices how there are prices for sparkly and exciting shoes that last you for a few weeks and how there are mom prices  that will get you shoes that last forever. 

She would look into shop windows and see another world of dreamy things and perfect things a world where grown up girls got what they wanted, she saw they didn't need any money they had different kinds of credit cards to purchase things and she wanted one little did she know she ended up with 12 kinds of credit cards, she got so excited when she would see items in the store and see new things that she wanted to buy. 

She said that a store smells good, and that it wakes up a lust you never knew that you needed, later on her credit card bill she sees that she spent 900 dollars on shoes to match her belt.

She thought someone had gone on a crazy shopping spree with one of her cards later she finds the card in her Wallet.

She is getting ready for a interview and sees a pretty green scarf she would like to buy for her interview, the sales person tells her that the scarf would be a perfect touch for her interview she decides to get the green scarf and goes to purchase the scarf and gives the cashier different cards to put the scarf on.

She takes the different card she gives her and the last card is unfortunately declined, she asks her if the scarf could be held the cashier tells her we don't hold sale items she tells her she will be right back she runs outside to a hot dog stand, and tells the person who is selling hot dogs that she will buy all of his hot dogs for twenty dollars in cash back.

The customer beside her gives her money and he tells her you want your scarf, I want my hot dog so she gets the scarf and runs to her interview, when she gets to her interview she realizes the interviewer is the same person who gave her money who gave her money to buy the scarf for her aunt .

Before she enters the room she throws her scarf under a desk, and she goes into the room for the interview and he recognizes her instantly, they start the interview off and he starts asking her a few questions and then she asks about a statue behind because it caught her off guard.

His assistant comes in with the green scarf and tells Rebecca that she dropped her scarf, she then looks at Luke and coughs and then says she died, and he tells her thank you for coming in and tells her to have a good rest of her day, and now she has lost her job and has to look for a new job because she needs her income and her debt collector Derek is calling her massive credit card debt.

 Suze and Rebecca go through her credit bills and what she has spent with purchasing things her best friend Suze tells her that she owes 17,262 dollars to credit cards, later that evening She and Suze write letters to successful Savings and Alette Magazine.

she writes to Alette and tells them what she is made of and why she should be an employee there, and with successful savings she writes an angry later on how she is upset how they didn't even give her a chance to speak on why she wanted the job.

So she goes to the mailbox and Luke from Successful savings calls her and tells her that he really liked what she wrote in the letter about Alette Magazine and decides to hire her for a three week trial when she realizes the letter for Alette was sent to successful savings, she then knows that Alette got the angry letter intended for successful savings she runs to Alette to get the letter back, she hides in the rack of clothes and successfully gets it back later a lady named Alicia asks her if she is supposed to be there and she tells her yes I am! 

Rebecca was supposed to do a work assignment for a new column she instead decides to go a clothing sale, and at the sale finds a cashmere coat and finds out that it is not one hundred percent cashmere and that she has been duped, this gives her an idea for a column and she writes it and submits it to Luke it talks about reading the small print before you purchase something.

 She is then asked if the article should be published using her name she is a little hesitant about using her name for the article she decides to name it The Girl in the Green Scarf, and the Article becomes a huge success, The Girl in the Green Scarf becomes a huge hit.

 Luke takes Rebecca on a business trip with him to Miami where her fresh  ideas are an instant hit with the corporate honchos, she gets really close to Luke while they are in Miami she finds out that he is dating Alicia, the Girl in the Green Scarf becomes so popular that she is asked to participate in a TV interview.

Rebecca meets with the editor of Alette to purchase a dress for the interview, while they are out shopping Derek Smeath calls again he is a debt collector, Rebecca has been avoiding him for months, Rebecca tells Luke Derek is a stalker and he bans Derek from the building, Alicia answers Rebeccas phone and finds out about her debt problems.

 Rebecca returns home to more debt problems from Derek and her friend Suze makes her take a shopaholic Anonymous Class , she purchases dresses for her friend Suze's wedding and meets a friendly lady Miss Korch only to realize she is the teacher for the class, she forces Rebecca to donate her dresses she doesn't believe her when she says one of the dresses is for her friend's wedding.

 She doesn't have enough to buy both dresses the cashier asks her which dress is more important? She decides to buy the dress for the Tv Interview, leaving the bridesmaids dress behind, during the Tv Interview Derek is in the audience which was organized by Alicia and confronts Rebecca, Successful Savings terminates Rebecca's column after the public confrontation for bringing discredit on the magazine and believes she is a risk for not paying her debts.

 Suze is very distraught and hurt when she finds out Rebecca lost the bridesmaids dress and she feels like she has let everyone down, Alette offers her a position at the magazine she declines because she feels like she would be lying to the people.

Luke starts a brand new company called Brandon Communications, she finally sells her green scarf that a woman bids on for 300 dollars making it possible for her to pay her debt to her debt collector in pennies to give to him in the most inconvenient way possible!

You will have to watch the movie to find out what happens next, I decided to write about this movie because I absolutely love shopping.

 Shopping is one of my most favorite things to do It makes me feel happy when I purchase things that I have been wanting or when I see something that is sparkly and shiny or something that just calls out to me!

 I also love giving presents to people and seeing the joy on their face or hearing about how the gift made them feel makes me feel so happy on the inside knowing that I brought some joy to their heart or day and when they look at the item they can remember the moment that they got the present and get happy all over again because someone had them in their mind and wanted to give them something special because they are very special to the person who got the gift for them! 

I have loved shopping ever since I can remember, I love shopping for almost anything I love shoes! Especially Sparkly shoes and shoes that click I love the noise they make on the floor, when I was little and would look at shoes at the store.

I would pick up the shoe and take it to the floor because I wanted to see if it would make a clicking noise, I especially love shopping for clothes and dresses if it is purple and Sparkly it is my kind of dress!

 I am known as a fashionista because I have a lot of nice clothes and I love dressing up anyone who knows me can tell you that I love dressing up and that I love fancy things and purses! 

These things do make me happy,  what really makes me happy is knowing that I am able to get these things because I work hard at my job and I am able to bless myself with a treat every now and then because I know that hard works pay off and good things come to those who wait.

 I encourage you all to enjoy each moment with your friends and family, friends will always be there to support you and guide in whatever you need and make you smile and love you unconditionally, material items may make you happy and feel good for a moment it can't give you support or love because its an item that you can wear or hold or put in your house it cant talk to you whenever you are having a crisis or need immediate help with something, your family member, guardian or friend can because they are real and there in the moment with you and got your back! 

I have a lot of good friends in my life and I know when I call on them they will be there for me to comfort me or give me advice or even make me smile because they love and care for me very much! For an example my good friend who is a psalmist the amazing and stunning Mrs.Niya Cotton she is like an Angel from Heaven, she is a good friend to have in your life and corner, she has certainly changed my life from the moment I met her, it was a wow experience she has the sweetest heart and voice!

 My spirit is just drawn to her singing, I see myself in her singing doing what she does she loves singing so much and I feel the exact same way.... when I listen to her sing and I hear myself sing for myself my voice sounds similar to hers she sings with everything she's got! She is so special to me and has a very special place in my heart! Cherish your friends and the moments you have with them because every moment and memory is a special one! 

My favorite scene from the movie is when Rebecca goes on her shopping spree and says she's only buying gloves and that's it and then she sees a pair of boots and immediately likes them and does want to buy them then she says no and puts them down and then another lady picks them up and Rebecca tells her she is going to purchase them and the lady tells her you put them down and then Rebecca tells her give me the boots and no one gets hurt... they end up getting into a little scuffle and then it shows Rebecca at home with the boots and her hair a little messed up and a few other items she bought from the sale!

 That scene made me laugh a lot! It has a few good scenes in the movie I think you will enjoy, I also like the scene where they are a fancy gathering and one of Rebeccas strings is loose on her jacket  she decides to pull the string and all the beads fall loose on her jacket and all over the floor... that is an enjoyable scene  in the movie! 

It will pull at your at your heart strings it is an easy follow along movie and Make you feel like you are a part of the story and the character in the movie will make you feel like you are a part of their story and like they are the actual characters in real life!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good film!

I Still Believe

Hey Everyone, I can't believe April is here I hope you all have a wonderful April!

 I have had a wonderful and amazing March... I celebrated all month because everyday is a gift to celebrate! I believe every day is a gift because I get to see another day.

 I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies called I still believe... It stars KJ APA, Britt Robertson, Shania Twain and a whole wonderful cast of people.

 The movie starts with a young man named Jeremy Camp who is from Lafayette Indiana, It is September and the year is 1999.

Jeremy Camp departs from his home to go to Calvary Chapel College in MurrietaCalifornia on the night of his arrival he goes to a concert of Canadian Christian Band the Kry where he meets the lead singer of the band Jean-luc lajoie who becomes fast friends with Jeremy who turns to him for musical advice.

The concert has ended and Jeremy meets a young lady named Melissa Henning who is a fellow student at his school and also a really good friend of Jean-luc who is in love with Melissa she doesn't feel the same way he feels about her she likes him as a friend not a boyfriend. 

As time passes Jeremy and Melissa get to know each other and eventually they start dating and it ends up causing a rift among the three friends.

 Melissa told Jeremy that she didn't want Jean-luc to get hurt in the process of them dating Jeremy was telling her that he thinks Jean-luc would be fine with them dating.

 Jean-luc does end up getting hurt... he thought Melissa had the same feelings about him that he had about her, Melissa ends up breaking up with Jeremy because Jean-luc is hurt and he is one of her very good friends.

 It is now holiday season and it is Christmas break for all the students at school Jeremy goes home and visits his family for Christmas break while he is home he gets a phone call from Jean-luc telling him that Melissa is in the hospital and he asks Jeremy to come back to California to come and visit her to see how she is doing.

 Jeremy makes it back to California and upon his arrival Melissa is happy to see him and she explains to him what the situation is and why she is in the hospital her diagnosis is she has stage three C ovarian cancer and it has spread to her liver.

 She also tells Jeremy that she is in love with him and that God told her he is the guy she is supposed to be with, Jeremy talks to Jean-luc and Jean tells him that he and Melissa are destined to be together and that she lights up every time she is around him, and he can tell how much they care about each other and they reconcile their friendship together, and cool with one another.

 Jeremy sets up surprise for Melissa and realizes that she is the girl he is supposed to be with he makes a surprise proposal in the hospital and takes her to where he set up the surprise and tells her that he is all in and that he will be there for her always in sickness and in health and that they are in this together and will fight it head on.

He proposes to her and she accepts his proposal they have their wedding on a beautiful beach and the song by Elvis Presley I can't help falling in love with you is playing as she walks down the aisle, and both of their families are there and so happy and excited for them at the reception they have lantern lights that has a light that glows on the inside and they release their lights up into the sky.

 Jeremy makes a name for himself in his music as a christian Singer-Songwriter, Melissa goes back to the hospital to have a MRI and learns while she is there the cancer has spread to her ovaries and she needs a hysterectomy, she is devastated and she falls asleep and wakes ip to Jeremy saying the surgery has been canceled because she is cancer-free and she doesn't need the surgery anymore.

 Jeremy at one of his concerts tells the audience Melissas story and how God can perform miracles and miracles happen every day, he tells them how much Melissa loves Jesus and how much she means to him  and how she is holding on to faith and hope and believing she will be healed she puts all her trust in God and lifts her hand up to the heavens because she knows she's not alone and that he hasn't forsaken her in her time of need.

He asks the audience to gather around her and pray for healing and that she will be healed that night,  a few days later they are at home and Melissa is hungry for a sandwich she makes her sandwich and wants pickles she tries opening the jar a couple she sees that her strength is starting to decrease because she can't the jar of pickles open she ends up breaking the jar of pickles because she is so upset and devastated at her current situation.

And at an earlier point when they go their apartment she sees wedding presents from family and friends celebrating their marriage and wedding day Melissa also sees a sign that says Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Camp... Jeremy asks her if she is ok, she tells him she's fine and that she will be right back she heads to the bathroom and turns the water on from the sink she doesn't want Jeremy to hear her crying, she's crying because she knows that her time is short and she won't be able to spend the rest of her life with Jeremy or be able to stay married long too him.

Jeremy decides to take her out on a boat ride for their honeymoon and while they are on the ride, she feels something weird on her stomach she tells Jeremy she's ok she is still having some pain they go to the hospital and find out her cancer is back and there isn't anything more that can be done for her unfortunately.

Jeremy takes her to where they first met and when he fell instantly in love with her, Melissa says that seems like such a Long time ago and that she is the shell of the person she once was she tells Jeremy that after she is gone she wants him to find someone else to spend the rest of his life with she wants him to be happy and loved and not having to go through life alone.

Melissa loves the galaxy and she tells him that the stars shining the brightest have the shortest lives and it creates a beautiful Super-Nova when they die she is using this as a metaphor for her terminal cancer explaining that her life can be a inspiration to others and if her story touches one person she knows that her cancer and everything she went through was worth it. 

Jeremy promises her that she will be ok and that she won't have cancer anymore. Melissa tells him that he can't make that kind of promise as much as she would like to be cancer -free and be better that's not his promise to make It is God's decision to heal her and make her better and cancer-free. 

She does want him to live a happy life and continue with his music and sharing their story to encourage and inspire others with whatever they are going through at the current time and to pick up his guitar again when he is ready to play. 

The rest of the movie is really encouraging and inspiring as Easter is coming, I encourage you all to keep the faith and keep holding your head up even when it feels hard and nothing is coming easy at the moment I want you to know that God will not give your more than you can handle. 

Melissa trusted in God her whole life even in the midst of what she was going through she knew God had her in the palm of his hand and that he was with her every step of the way.

Easter is a good time to to give your life to God or experiencing a second chance in life he will always love you no matter what you have done in life he will never judge you or criticize you no matter what you bring he's still in love with you and will always be there for you he is jealous for you! 

He wants to have a relationship with you, and wants you to be with him in Eternal life, He will continue to fight your battles and continue to trust in him, He will make your paths straight.

 I am so thankful and grateful for the Psalmist Niya Cotton she is a blessing that God brought into my life, her singing touches my heart and spirit every time I hear it..

I love the song Holy Forever her version of it she sings it with all her and spirit... I sing along with her and when I hear it sung at other occasions I hear her version in my head and sing it along with the other people that are singing the song.  I also like the song It is well with my soul, my favorite part of that song is the trump shall resound, and the lord shall descend even so it is well with my soul! Even in the midst of everything that is happening with me, It is well with my soul! 

I also love the song Even IF, Anthony Evans Song the song is about even when the circumstances are painful, and prayers are unanswered or the outcome isn't you desired still praise him even in the midst because God is Good and he will answer your prayers in time!

 I just have to do life a little different now there are some days when I wish I didn't have it, I am happy to be here and still living my life to the fullest and I know that God will do more than I am expecting!

 Don't give up God hears each and every one of your prayers, thoughts and questions and he will answer all of your prayers questions and whatever your heart's desire is, keep seeking him he loves you with all his heart! 

Have no fear, Live your life with no regrets and say everything that is in your heart to say you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength! Have Faith over Fear the goodness of God is running after you!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Melissa and Jeremy first meet, and the fun times and moments they have together and how they are their for each other and continue to trust in God even in the midst of everything going on! 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a good movie ! I hope you all have a great day!

Overboard

 

Hey Everyone, I hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful week!

 I have had a great start to the age of 29, I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies starring Goldie Hawn, and Kurt Russell It was produced in 1987 the movie is OverBoard.

 And it has an amazing cast.. the movie starts off with a lovely lady named Joanna Mintz Stayton who is a snobbish socialite accustomed to a life of luxury alongside her penpecked husband Grant Stayton the third, she is waiting for her yacht to be repaired in the fictional fishing village of Elk Cove, Tillamook County Oregon.

Joanna hires Dean Proffitt, a widower husband with four sons, to remodel her closet, Dean produces a good quality of work, which she dismisses because he used Oak instead of Cedar and it is a request that she never specifically asked for..

Dean agrees to redoing the closet because Joanna doesn't like the way he has done it and she tells him it is not what she asked for, he agrees to redo the closet the way she likes if he is paid for the work he has previously done already.

Joanna unfortunately doesn't agree to pay him because she isn't happy with the previous work he has already done, Joanna and dean end up having an argument and he follows her outside and their argument ends up turning into a funny situation.

She wants him to leave he tells her that he isn't going anywhere until he gets payed... Joanna throws his tools and his tool belt into the water and he ends up going overboard into the water, while he is down there Joanna tells him that everyone wants to be her and have the life that she is currently living at this point in time.

 Dean makes it back home and upon his arrival at home he is greeted by his son's principal who threatens that she will call social services on him to take his sons away because his sons are undisciplined and struggle in school.

Dean isn't interested in the parent part of raising his boys he wants to hang out with his buddies of his then be an attentive parent and take care of his boys.

That night Joanna and her husband Grant are watching Tv and Joanna realizes she left her wedding ring on the yacht deck outside and she asks Grant to get her wedding ring because she wants it now, he isn't interested in getting the ring she goes to retrieve her wing and it is a little windy that evening she is having trouble keeping her balance and staying steady on the Yacht.

She does get the ring she ends up going overboard into the water and Grant doesn't even notice until the next morning.. she is fished out the water by a garbage scow, she is taken to a local hospital and is suffering from temporary amnesia, her snobbish vindictive personality is still the same as ever, a interviewer comes and talks to her to see if she remembers anything about herself like her name or anything else she says I know my name I Know it... she sees another patient staring at her while she is being interviewed and she asks him what she is looking at ? 

She tells him to eat his checkers, her husband comes to the hospital to see if it his Joanna  he decides to not pick her up and tells everyone back at their home that Joanna has decided to leave him because he wants her fortune to himself and he is tired of her cruelty, he starts having parties with younger women.

Joanna's story is now showing on the news on Tv Dean happens to see it playing on the tv while he is out bowling with his friends.

He decides to take revenge on her by having her work for him to pay off her unpaid bill, he goes to the hospital and claims she is his wife and the mother of his sons she tells the nurse that she has no idea who he is he kisses her and then tells the nurse where she has a tattoo of a strawberry and Joanna goes to look where he said she has the tattoo and then reluctantly goes home with him and is appalled by where they live.

 Joanna has a little difficultly at first in her current situation with the house and the boys the more time she is there she starts adapting and getting more comfortable and getting along with the boys, later she learn's about the boy's schooling and family issues how Dean works two jobs to make ends meet secretly.

She streamlines the money problems with more efficient budgeting and tells Dean to be a more responsible father.

 Dean has had a dream about having a miniature golf course and Joanna helps make it come true by helping him design one,  he doesn't tell her real identity because he's afraid if he tells her who she is in real life she will leave him and go back to her real life, a couple months go by and Edith Joanna's mother grows suspicious of her daughter's missing and threatens to have Grant hunted down, he is forced to retrieve Joanna and upon arrival she remembers him and who she is and then realizes she was manipulated by Dean.

Joanna is very distraught and goes back to her yacht with Grant which is headed to New York City, she can't believe how mean her mom and Grant is being to the staff on the yacht, she apologizes to her butler Andrew and the rest of the boat staff for her spiteful treatment towards them and realizes how happy she is and was with Dean prompting her to turn the yacht back towards Elk Cove.

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens, I can assure you it is a very happy ending and that Dean and Joanna are both smiling and happy in the end and live happily ever after.

I decided to write about this movie because I love the storyline and the way Goldie and Kurt bring their characters to life as if they are the real characters they are playing in real life.

They put everything they have into their characters to make them believable to the audience and bring the audience into their story.

This is one of my favorite rom-coms It always puts me in a happy and laughing mood every time I see it, One of my favorite lines from the movie is when Joanna tells Dean Everybody wants me to be me... and how she tells him it wasn't done to my satisfaction that line always makes me laugh.

 I also like how it talks about the importance of family and love.. those who know me know that I am a big family person.

 I absolutely love my family, I enjoy talking with them and texting them on the phone and seeing how they are doing, I enjoy and cherish every moment I have with my family because I know time is short, and tomorrow isn't promised.

 I encourage you all to live each day with no fear and that you can do anything you put your mind to....  One of my favorite family moments is when I did zoom calls with my family, and we celebrated birthdays together and spent time together and had the most wonderful time... I know my family will always be there for me and love me unconditionally... they always make me smile and laugh.. and always there whenever I need something or have something to share with them.  

I am a very lovable and kind, caring person, I was so elated to see my friend Mrs. Niya Cotton who is a psalmist and is absolutely incredible at it.

She captured my heart the first time I heard her sing.... She has the voice of an angel and is so sweet and Kind and a whole lot of fun and has a heart of gold! 

I love her to pieces she gave me the biggest hug ever, It warmed my heart, I think she knew how excited I was to see her! That's my girl! I encourage you to lace up your boots, put on your backpack it's time to ride!!!!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Dean and Joanna first meet. that scene makes me laugh a lot especially when he goes overboard into the water! I also like the scene when Joanna puts a pie in deans face!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a good movie! And have a nice heart felt experience!

She's the man

 

Hey Everyone, I hope you all are having a wonderful March so far.

 I celebrated my 29th Birthday this past Sunday.. I am so excited, this will be my last year in my twenties.

 I am ready I have enjoyed my 28th chapter and all it has blessed me with I am ready to open the 29th chapter and see what exciting adventures are in store for me. I have celebrated my Birthday! 

I had the most fantastic birthday ever, I first went to a women's conference with my lovely friend and it was called Armed and Dangerous... It was hosted by Lady Rose Godlock the First Lady of my church.. She is absolutely amazing....  I love her dearly.

It was an outstanding conference, I got to see my favorite person ever.. My wonderful friend Mrs. Niya.. She is an absolute Powerhouse and She can sing! She gave me the biggest hug 🤗 before the conference started …. It surprised me when I saw coming towards me I got the biggest smile on my face!  I can still feel it in my heart ♥️…. My heart was beating violently inside of my heart.. I was so happy and elated to see her….. when I tell you I had been waiting for this moment… I mean it I had been waiting 4 months for the conference to come and to see my girl Niya…. When it came I was so happy.. 

She has a magnificent voice ! I first met her in 2024 at a grace girls conference! It is truly one of the best moments in my life….. When I heard her sing I said to myself I have got to meet her … her spirit connected with mine… we became good friends right away.. because I know her I have been changed for good! I miss her so much… I believe I’ll see her again soon ….

One of the things I learned from her is   that I am not shy, I am Bold.... and that I am armed and dangerous Spiritually! Love her to pieces! I had the most wonderful birthday..I celebrated at Church and shared cookies with everyone... My church family is absolutely awesome! 

They made me feel so loved and Lady Rose announced my birthday... She did an outstanding job! She is sweet as a Rose!  And my good friend Mrs. Rosetta and Dr. Lasondra Barnes helped make my birthday special also!  I really appreciate them helping me in celebrating my birthday and making it a memorable day! I celebrated with my closet friends and family! It was an amazing luncheon and very memorable it was so lovely to be surrounded by so much love with people, that love and care for me!

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies called She's the man it is a really fun movie, the movie stars Amanda Bynes, Channing Tatum, Jonathan Sadowski and a whole wonderful cast of people.

The movie starts off a young lady named Viola Hastings who is a teenage girl who plays for the girls soccer team at her high school, Cornwall Prep.

She has a dream to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels, her high school no longer has a girl's soccer team, Viola and her friends try to join the boy's soccer team the coach of the boy's soccer team Refuses to accept the girl's on the boy's soccer team.

Viola tries to get her boyfriend to tell the coach that she and her friends will be good for their team, Her boyfriend unfortunately agrees with the coach's not to let girl's play on the boy's team and that Viola upset that he agrees with the coach, so she ends up breaking up with him.

 She also has a twin brother named Sebastian and he has to enroll in a school in llyria  which is an elite boarding school since he has been expelled from Cornwall for skipping classes.

He decides to secretly go to London with his band instead of going to the school, and Sebastian is also having relationship issues with his shallow girlfriend Monique.

 Viola decides to cover for Sebastian while he is away in London, and by telling each of their divorced parents that he is staying at the other' house.

Viola comes up with an idea to pass herself as her brother "Sebastian" hoping to join the boy's soccer team and beat Cornwall to prove their coach and Justin wrong, for suggesting the idea of the girl's soccer team to be disbanded, with the help of her stylist friend named Paul she is transformed into her brother Sebastian and attends llyria in his place.

 She decides to get settled into her dorm room and while she is there she meets her new roommate named Duke Orsino who is the captain of the boy's soccer team in llyria.

Viola decides to go out for soccer tryouts it doesn't go as well as she thought it would she fails to impress the coach named Coach Dinklage and is assigned to play second string much to her disappointment and her soccer teammates including Duke at the start don't like "Sebastian" as he's awkward and strange.

Viola calls her friend Paul to help her out and get her teammates to like her so he decides to help her out and he stages an elaborate scene at the local pizzeria and after that they start to accept him into their social circle.

Sebastian gets one of the most popular and and beautiful Olivia Lennox to be his lab partner, which is frustrating to a guy named Duke  he has feelings for Olivia.

 Sebastian tells him he will put in a good word for him if he teaches him how to be a good soccer player, in time the coach notices Sebastian's efforts and improvement he has been making to be a great soccer player and help his fellow teammates he promotes him to first string.

A little later there is a carnival that is happening a junior league carnival where Viola's mom has made her volunteer, she has decided to sign up for the kissing booth and she ends up kissing Duke and he expresses to "Sebastian" that he might end up leaving Olivia for Viola because he likes her now.

 That delights Viola because she feels the same way about him, Olivia now has a crush on "Sebastian" asks Duke out on a date hoping to make Sebastian jealous, Viola who is unaware that of Viola's true intentions, is enraged because Duke has lost interest in Viola.

 When she finds out the truth about what's happening she tells Olivia to tell Sebastian the truth about how she feels, the situation becomes complicated when the real Sebastian shows up and returns from London a day early which is unknown to Viola, when Sebastian arrives at his school Olivia confesses her feelings for him and kisses him.

Duke sees him kissing Olivia and now thinks his roommate has betrayed him, "Sebastian" returns to the room he and Duke have an argument he kicks him out, Viola ends up oversleeping and misses the first half of the soccer game while the real Sebastian is mistaken for "Sebastian" and play's his sister's game poorly, now it is half-time Viola explains the situation to her brother and they switch places once more, llyria ends up winning the soccer game when Viola scores a goal that finally  humiliates Justin and the rest of the Cornwall boys.

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens next, I decided to write about this movie because as I think about going into my 29th chapter.

 I want to go into strong and happy and keep going for and believing in my dreams and knowing someday they will come true and that I can do anything I set my mind to and anything is possible!

 If you have a dream keep believing and knowing that one day it will come true and come into fruition, For example I am a big fan of the Cheetah Girls, I have seen all the movies and I know all the songs by heart... and my favorite Cheetah Girl is Chanel played by Adrienne Bailon Houghton one of my favorite lines by her is Prada or Nada Mama, I also like when she says We Gotta walk down these streets like their runways... I have always imagined of meeting her one day and getting a selfie and saying hello.

 little did I know that dream was in the works I saw that she was going to be in Maryland with her husband Isreal Houghton singing and talking... Me and my mom went to Maryland and went to the church where they were singing and talking.. It was absolutely wonderful, they went to another church also and shared their story me and my mom stopped by on our way home and after their talk and singing they were leaving the building and I saw Adrienne I was so excited, and she was the sweetest she stopped to talk to me and take a selfie with me!

 It is a moment I will always treasure, Nothing is Impossible! Keep remembering Dreams Come true, I also have a dream of meeting Jennifer Hudson I am such a big fan of hers she is absolutely incredible and loved by many, she has been through a lot in her life she still holds her head high and keeps moving forward even in the midst.. It would be a dream come true to meet her! 

My favorite scene from the movie is when "Sebastian " and Duke are talking about what he would say when he and Olivia are on their date, Sebastian tells him to just keep it casual and to talk about cheese he tells Duke everyone likes cheese. That scene makes me laugh a lot!

 I also like the scene where "Sebastian" breaks up with Monique because "He " knows that the real Sebastian doesn't like Monique or want to date her anymore.  It is also funny when Viola gives Justin five reasons for breaking up with him.. there are a lot of funny and feel good scenes in the movie ! I think you will enjoy this one!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good movie!

Hey Everyone, this is the week before my birthday I can't believe it! 

My last week of being 28.. And it will be my last year in my twenties! I am ready and excited, I know it is going to be a day  of laughter, joy, and lots of love and fun! I’m going to cherish these last days of 28 and go into 29 confidently!

 I even have a special entrance ready for my big day, I am dancing to one of my favorite songs! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies.  It is called Leo and it stars Adam Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Sadie Sandler, Rob Schneider and a whole wonderful cast of people starring in the movie.

 The movie starts with a long-time class pet named Leo who is 74 years old the tuatara and Squirtle the box turtle live in a fifth-grade classroom at a Fort Myers elementary school.

 During a parent-teacher conference the teacher who teaches the fifth -grade class is pregnant Mrs.Salinas she is announcing her maternity leave, the school is running a competition where the best class of fifth grade gets to go to Magic Land Park at the end of the year as a reward.

 There is a substitute teacher who is a much older woman and not as nice as their teacher is she meets the kids, and she tells the kids right from the beginning that she isn't like their teacher that they are used too and if they are bad or act out, she gives out demerits she doesn't give out gold stars for when they are good  or achieved something in class.

 She's a teacher that expects the children in the class to follow everything she says and she is an old school teacher she plays by the rules...  when the kids first meet her they want their teacher back right away because they are not quite used to this substitute teacher yet.

 During the parent-teacher conference Mrs.Salina's mentions the new substitute teacher to the parents who will be taking her place while she is  taking care of her baby, the parents express their displeasure about the situation at hand to Principal Spahn about their displeasure with the teacher who is coming to teach the class while their children's teacher is away.

 Leo hears one of the parents say that tuataras live to be 75 years old and he is in despair when he realizes he is 74 years old and he hasn’t accomplished his dreams of going to the everglades.. the next day the strict substitute Virginia Malkin arrives and  is quickly loathed by the students, she decides to the students one at a time bring the school pet home to teach them responsibility.

Leo is excited about this adventure because he thinks it will give him a chance to escape, Leo is taken home for the weekend by a young lady named Summer.

 she is an overly talkative girl , she talks about anything and everything she talks so much to the point where whoever she is talking too starts dazing out because she has talked so much their aren't to focus on what she is saying anymore because of all the previous things she has said as soon as she gets home with Leo.

She gets right  into her talking routine and talks all through the ride from school, and then when they enter the house from getting home from school, and she talks all through dinner and then her and her family watch a movie and she talks the whole way through the movie and then she talks a lot when she tucks her little sister into bed and can't hear what her sister says because of her talking... she is nice and caring and loving she just has a lot she wants to say.

 Leo tries to make his escape and accidentally reveals to summer that he can talk and suggests to her to ask questions to improve her conversation's with her classmate, because of that Summer gets more popular in her classroom.

He shares that the popular kids at school are the ones that want to learn about others, one by one her fellow students Eli who is a student in the class who has helicopter parents and shelter him and has overprotective parents, they assign a drone to hover him all day long.

 Leo encourages Eli to share his true feelings with the drone and to tell it not to smother him so much, when Eli shares his feelings the drone is saddened.

 Eli is glad that he shared his feelings and now he is living his life the way he wants to, Jayda one of the popular students in the class Leo shares with her that she isn't that great and that she is miserable trying to live up to a standard that she thinks she is supposed to do and is miserable and tells her to live her life like a normal kid and enjoy being a kid.. because childhood goes by so fast, it is important to capture every minute of it! 

Being an adult will come before you know it... Enjoy your childhood while you can and cherish the memories with it! Cole who is know as a class clown and makes everyone laugh, he is a little insecure about the way his voice sounds because he thinks it's high pitched.

 Leo tells him his voice is special and unique, because it is his voice and that is what makes him different from everyone else, he encourages him to talk in his normal voice and not to worry about what others think of him just be himself and his friends will love and care for him for just being himself. 

Leo helps a lot of the kids in Mrs. Salina's class Leo requests to them to keep his talking ability a secret and doesn't tell any of them that the other kids know he can talk. 

You will have to see the movie to find out what happens next, I Can tell you it is a happy ending and I can also tell you the kids have a change of heart and end up liking the substitute and appreciating that she came in to cover for their teacher while she is on maternity leave .

 I decided to write about this movie because I love the way the story is portrayed and how it builds you up and encourages you to just be you and people will love you for just being who you are..

And real true friends value you for who you are not what you can give them. I am grateful and thankful for all my friends and who stayed with me and riding with me for 28 years and have never left my corner! One of my favorite characters from the movie is Summer, I feel like I can relate to her because I also love to talk, I mean absolutely love it I can talk about anything and everything talking is one of my favorite things to do, I can strike up a conversation with almost anyone and if it is the right person and I feel like it is a strong and good connection I could talk for awhile that is how much I love to talk.

And if I am at a event or  at a party or celebrating something I usually the second to last person to leave the event because I am talking or engaging with someone and enjoying myself... and sometimes or occasionally I am the last one to leave church because I want to make sure I say hello to everyone before I leave! 

 I can see myself a lot in Summer, She played her part really well and made it seem like the character she was playing was a real-life person! 

And with Cole, I could relate to him because I also have a unique voice, I have learned to love my voice because it is mine and it is something that brings a lot of people joy and that a lot of people love! I used to try to deepen my voice to make it sound normal and not high-pitched like it normally is, It took a little time I have learned in my 28 years I have been blessed to see that I shouldn't change something about myself to make the other person feel comfortable and me feel uncomfortable, I like who I am and I like my voice!

 I wouldn't change a thing about it... I was given this unique voice for a reason and I am going to use it to the best of my ability and I believe one day my voice will be used for something majestic and amazing and I know it will blow people away and once they hear my voice, they will be like WOW I love this Girl's voice it makes me feel so happy!

 I wish I could hear it all the time, I hope that you can hear my voice through my blogs.. because I am putting my heart and spirit into it.. and because I want to bless people and give them a chance to learn more about me and who I am and show them the Princess behind the voice! You all are special and destined for greatness! 

I encourage you to love yourself and who you are and don't think about what other people say or think... Just keep walking the walk and talking the talk.. and being the best you that you are because you are an incredible human being..  one little tip about me I absolutely love Disney with all of my heart.

 I have loved it since I was a little kid, I think I would be perfect for Minnie Mouse for her talking voice because we sound the same way and both sweet and kind I believe that will come true one day I believe somehow someway my voice will be used in a animated movie, one of my favorite Disney Movies is the Incredibles... I enjoy it so much, Because it is a family movie and I am a big family person and each of them have a special power that makes them unique! 

Check it out when you get a chance you will love it ! I know I do... what made me think of this is a  special shout out to Ms.Tracey Torres who mentioned the Incredibles.., and how they have their own super power and when they put them all together it all works out!  

I absolutely agree with her, she mentioned this in a video that showed at Church Today and they were talking about all kinds of teams they have at the church and what they do and what is involved in the different teams! 

Her statement just stood out to me a lot because I love Disney.. If I hear anything about Disney my ears are going to perk up.. because it is something I deeply care about and love, In my Pastor's sermon today he mentioned Walt Disney, he mentioned how Walt Disney was fired from the newspaper for lack of imagination, if he would have been stuck with the newspaper his imagination and creativity would have been capped and the idea that he was preparing to make an amusement park of Disneyland  wouldn't have happened and we wouldn't have Disneyland or Disney World Today! My favorite amusement park is Disney World Personally, because it is such a joyful place and I always forget my worries and stresses when I am there because it is so happy! 

Sometimes a door is closed for a reason it may be one that you wish have been opened and hoping for to open, it just means something better is store for you! 

Remember when one door closes another one opens and the best is yet to come, For example I was hoping the door would open for Hershey Chocolate World, I wanted to be a character or greet people because I love seeing the joy on people's faces and as much as I wanted to work there that door was closed.

 I was disappointed at first, I thought to myself there is something better coming and a different door that is opening for me and right now I am at Tj Maxx, I am happy and I enjoy it hopefully this will open the door to Disney World I'm going to keep believing for it! Keep reaching for the stars and believing in your dreams because Dreams come true! 

My favorite scene from the movie is Leo's and Summer's first interaction with each other that makes me laugh a lot.. I also like the experiences Leo has with each of the kids and he how he gives them advice and lifts their spirits! 

Adam Sandler is a great guy, he is kind, and caring and sees the good in everyone! And is a wonderful friend, He is a great actor and is loved by many and has touched many hearts and lives! He is doing amazing with his career and movies... He has a lot of good ones out there and ones that will make you laugh and touch your heart! I will always be a fan of Adam Sandler and enjoy his movies! His lines from his  movies are also very memorable and they get stuck in your head. I love the movie WaterBoy and one line I hear in my head is what Mama doesn't know won't hurt her!

 I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family film!

Sister Act 1 and 2

 

Hey Everyone, How are you? March is here, Can you believe it? 

I am so happy March is here, I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies! It is a well known movie and is well loved by many people.

 It stars Whoopi Goldberg, Maggie Smith, Wendy Makenna, Kathy Najimy, Harvey Keitel, Mary Wickes, Bill Nunn, Jenifer lewis. 

The movie starts off in 1968 with a young Deloris Wilson who is a young Catholic student she doesn't take her studies seriously and greatly embarrasses her nun teachers while showing an affinity for music.

It is now 24 years later, in 1992, Deloris is performing as (Deloris Van Cartier) she is a lounge singer in Reno, Nevada in a club owned by her married boyfriend Vince LaRocca, she receives a shallow gift from Vince it is a very lovely very chic purple fur coat.

 I just love the color purple, she attempts to return the gift to him, she witnesses executing an informant, when Vince catches her in the room he attempts to have her killed.

 Deloris goes to the police for help a police lieutenant Eddie Souther places Deloris in a witness protection program and he brings her to the struggling convent of Saint Katherine's parish it is located in a run-down San Francisco neighborhood.

Both Deloris and the disgruntled head nun of Saint Katherine's Reverend Mother but heads a little and disagree with the current arrangement that was put in place.

However a couple of people in the convent and the parish police convince them to go along with the plan with the added deal the police will bring in a large sum of money.

Now Deloris is disguised as Sister Mary Clarance she initially has difficulty connecting with the other nuns, and isn't hitting it off right away with reverend mother and is having trouble adjusting to the simple life.

 She befriends a couple of the other nuns Sister Mary Patrick, who is optimistic and upbeat and another lady who is not as upbeat as Sister Mary Patrick, her name is Sister Mary Lazarus and then there is the shy young Novice Sister Mary Robert .

One night at the convent after a poorly attended mass session with a lack luster performance from the convent choir led by sister Mary Lazarus, from everything going on Deloris decides to take a break from everything going on and goes to a bar she is followed by Mary Patrick and Mary Robert.

 They are caught by the reverend mother unfortunately and the reverend mother considers kicking deloris out of the convents she instead orders Deloris to join the struggling choir with her singing experience.

Deloris is elected to take over as director and take over the choir she transforms the choir, at the next Sunday Mass Deloris leads the much -improved choir in a traditional hymn of Hail Holy Queen then shifts  it into a combined gospel rock and roll interpretation.

 Although reverend mother is at first upset the priest congratulates the choir for their unorthodox performance, as new people were attracted to the service and is convinced by Deloris who credits Reverend mother with the idea he allows the nuns to clean the church and and help revitalize the neighborhood, their singing and efforts attract media attention, and the parish thrives.

 In the meantime Vince has put a bounty on Deloris's head and is intent on finding her,Souther Chastises Deloris for nearly being exposed on national tv, she assures him she will try to keep a lower profile and Souther attends a mass.

 The choir performs a new version of the song My Guy and changes the song to My God.. Deloris tells Reverend Mother Vince's trial is coming up soon and that means she will have to leave the convent.

 The mother reveals to her she has resigned as abbess, believing she is no longer useful to the convent as her authority was undermined, Deloris tries to convince her to stay and keep the parish thriving as it is.

 The mother retorts that she believes she is too old-fashioned and incapable of running the convent, later Souther discovers one of the people on his own team has disclosed Deloris location to Vince Souther rushes to San Francisco to warn her, he arrives in time Deloris feels a since of responsibility to her friends in the convent.

Vince's men Kidnap Mary Robert and Deloris, Deloris helps Mary Robert escape, when Mary Robert makes it back to the convent Reveals to the convent that Deloris is a lounge singer which is her real identity and why she has been hiding out in the convent, the nuns decided to rescue Deloris and guilting  a local helicopter pilot into flying them to Reno.

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens next, I can tell you it is a happy and fun ending!

 I decided to write about this movie, because Music is my passion it has been part of my life as long as I can remember... one of my favorite subjects in school was Chorus that was my favorite class because I got to sing a lot in the class..

And I learned how to be a life long independent musician.... Music also really helps me a lot especially when I have a lot going on or really busy at a certain time Music calms me.

 And I have also found the authenticity of my voice and what it means to others, I have learned personally that my voice brings a lot of joy to others and that people love my voice and the way it sounds that brings a lot of joy and happiness to my heart! 

I am happy to have a unique voice, It does sound like music to me and I think that is a good thing since I love music and singing!

 I encourage you all to love your the realness and authenticity of your voice because it is your voice and it was especially chosen for you and it is a voice that is loved by many people and it touches many hearts and whoever you interact with! 

 And it shows how anyone change and get better in time ... And that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself and keep reaching for the stars, and how anyone can change and it shows how if you are kind to someone then most likely they will be kind to you and it will continue to spread  to others and they will be happy and grateful that someone showed them kindness and a happy smile!  Kindness is always free.

And personally my smile is one of my favorite things about myself I get a lot of compliments on it... I can assure you that a smile will make anyone's day and that they will be happy to have received a happy smile especially when they are going through something or having a tough time a smile shows them that they can make it through and that the sun will come out tomorrow! 

Whoopi Golderberg does an incredible job in this movie as Deloris Van Cartier, she really puts her whole heart and spirit into the movie and her character and you can feel it when you watch the movie! And you will love the music in the movie it will make you want to sing along the movie and have you on the edge of your seat the whole time and excited for what is going to happen next in then movie!

My favorite scene from the movie is when they sing Hail Holy Queen, That is a fun scene and I love the way they sing the song! I also like when Deloris first tries on her nun outfit and sees what she looks like when she has it on!

 That will make you a laugh a lot, there are really some fun songs in the movie that will get you up and dancing like you never danced or sang before !

 Sister Act 2 is a wonderful movie as well, In that Movie Whoopi is back as Sister Mary Clarence is disguise to teach music to students at a troubled school in hopes of keeping the facility from closing at the hands of Mr. Crisp..

This movie is incredible as well and has a lot of amazing actors and actresses and they all have amazing beautiful voices and really put their hearts and should into their characters and really Bring them to life! My favorite character from the movie is Rita Louise Watson she is a strong-willed confident and amazing girl that loves to sing and isn't afraid to put herself out there and go after her dreams!

 One of my favorite scenes with her is when she sings Eye is on the sparrow with one of her classmates you can really feel heart in the way she sings it and how much it means to her! 

When Mary Clarence first meets her she calls her diva with a tude, as she gets to know more about Rita she sees there is more to Rita then what's on the surface and that singing is something she absolutely loves to do and how much it means to her, her mom doesn't believe singing will pay the bills and put food on the table! 

She wants the best for Rita and she doesn't think at first singing will get her very far.. Sister Mary Clarence talks with her mother about Rita, and her mom shares while she appreciates the kind words and everything she has told her about Rita she just wants her to focus on school at the moment and something that will give her stability! 

I also like the scene where Sister Mary Clarence tells Rita if you wake up in the morning and can't think about anything else but singing then you should sing! Rita decides to follow her dream and sing at the All State-Music Competition and she forges her mom's signature and tells her mom she is sorry for what she has done, she just wants to do what she loves and follow her dream! 

Rita sings Oh Happy the beginning part of the song and she does an excellent job... and then the choir joins her and finishes the song off with her! 

I also love the scene where Westley sings Oh Happy day with his peers, He at first is a little nervous and then Sister Mary Clarence tells him stand next to me.. and then he comes down and she does a couple of singing exercises and then she says let's party.... thats when he really gets into the song and there is a surprising thing that he does when he is singing the song when you see it you will be mind blown! 

Her mom thought she wouldn't make into singing because it failed for her dad and he loved music just like she did... Little to her mom's surprise when she hears Rita she is pleasantly surprised and is so proud of Rita and how she didn't let anything stop her from pursuing her dream of singing! And her school ends up winning the competition and the school gets to stay open! 

I recommend these two movies to anyone who wants to watch a fun filled singing family movie!!!
