Cyber Bully

Hey Everyone, I hope you all have had a great April so far, and that the rest of your April is amazing and awesome!

 I hope your May is Marvelous and Magnificent, I have decided to write about a movie that I have come to like.

It is called CyberBully Starring Emily Osment, Kay Panabaker and a whole wonderful cast of people, this movie tells a very important story and good life lessons to use when you are in a situation or need some help with something.

 We are introduced to a young lady named Taylor Hillridge who is a teenage girl living in Indiana with her single mom and younger brother Eric whose dad isn't in the picture anymore, Taylor told her dad that she didn't want to talk to him anymore... You will see later in the movie what happens between Taylor and her dad it is a sweet reconcile moment.

She is occasionally teased by a girl clique at her school the leader of the clique her name is Lindsay and she teases Taylor every chance she gets, and Taylor likes a guy named Scott and her friends are telling her that she could chat with her friends and other people on cliquesters if she had a computer.

 She said her mom doesn't really like electronics and is old fashioned with technology, since it is Taylor's birthday her mom gifts her a computer and she is so excited that she sets it up right away and signs up on cliquesters with the help of her friends, now since she is officially on the site she made friends with Scott and she is already getting attention from the time she signed up for it.

 Lindsay commented on the photo she posted of her and her friend Samantha calling them lardo and dog face, It is going okay for awhile while she is on cliquesters she is just talking with her classmates in a chat just regular chat.

 She tells Sam that she wants to go home to see if Scott is online, She is not very happy about that she goes home anyway and her and Scott talk for awhile and she then sees a person named James would like to be friends with her and talk with her. 

Unfortunately everything changes suddenly when her brother takes revenge and posts a very graphic message about her by hacking into her account because she wouldn't let him use her computer and then  people start calling her names, posting things and saying things that aren't true.

 She tells her mom someone figured out her password and now since people saw the message on her profile now she's getting constantly bullied by people online and her peers at school.

 Her mom thinks she should shut her profile down because of this situation and she is in tears after a day of having her profile she doesn't want to shut it down because she likes connecting and talking with her friends.

She decides to call her biggest nemesis a bad name and because its on social media everyone can see it, her mom takes her computer away after she finds out that she called someone out of their name.

She said she can have it back in a couple days, after a couple days she communicates with her friend James and who she is interested in at first.

later he posts a status saying he and Taylor got together and she gave him gonorrhea because of this Taylor is the lead victim and now everyone is targeting her and because of this situation people are starting to distance themselves from her, and not want to be around her.

 Scott was going to be her date to the dance because of everything that has happened he is going with someone else, this completely devastates her and she is already feeling overwhelmed and upset about everything going and is at the brink of breaking down, because of all the sadness she is feeling and everything that has happened with her and seeing what everyone has said about her on her page and all the comments really hurts her and makes her cry for a long time and have a break down.

She makes a video alluding to suicide by wanting to end it all because she can't take it anymore Samantha views the video and races to Taylor's house and calls her mom about what Taylor is planning and then she races home also, and Samantha finds Taylor in the bathroom trying to open a bottle of pills and doing an overdose with the pills Samantha makes it in time and stops her from taking the pills and her mom finds Taylor and tells her she will be ok and they go to the hospital.

She is looked over and able to go home in the next couple of days she is back home and her mom requests for her to go to a support group with people who are going through the same thing she is going through, she doesn't want her through what she has already went through again, despite her initial reluctance to going to the group she finds one of her classmates there and sees the sessions has been really helpful to her in her current state and situation. 

You will have to see the movie to find out what happens next, It is a good movie and gives good insight and information about what someone goes through with social media and how it can be overwhelming and  can give you anxiety and other things at certain times especially when you read a comment from someone that has said something about you or a certain photo that was posted on instagram or Facebook.

 It can make a person feel like they aren't worthy or feel like they have be a certain kind of person or act in a certain way for people to like them or be friends with them instead of being who they really are and not let their personality shine through because they want to be liked and have friends and be popular and have the kinds of things they see other people have because they think It makes them happy so then they think they'll be happy you can't believe everything you see on social media because everything is different than what you see on social media.

It may look happy from the outside, you never know what someone is going through on the inside, It is good to check on your friends and family whenever you can because they maybe going through a difficult time at the moment and hearing your voice or hearing from you in a text or call will help them feel better and let them know they can make it through whatever is going on in their life. 

Kindess doesn't cost anything,Treat people the way you want to be treated if you treat people with kindness it will always come back to you death and life are in the power of the tongue speak life into the people and if you do that they will do it back to you and speak life to you!

 My favorite scene from the movie is when Taylor gets a computer for her birthday and how excited she is about having one! Her face is pure joy!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good movie and learn about what happens in Cyberbullying and the effects it can have on someone!
