Marley and me

 Hey everyone! I have decided to write about the movie Marley and Me! Marley and me is one of my favorite movies. It stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. 

They are a new married couple and looking for something to fill their lives. Their characters names are John and Jenny Grogan, John is sensing that his wife Jenny is wanting to be a mom and have a family. They both love their jobs, John writes obituaries for his job, and Jenny has a reporter job. 

John talks with his friend and co-worker Sebastian about his situation at home, he suggests adopting a dog to see if they are ready to raise a family. 

One day John decides to surprise Jenny, he takes her for a ride out  in the city, and he helps her out of the car, and leads her into the house where the surprise is, she also has a blind fold on because John does not want her to see the surprise yet.

 Once they get to the surprise, John takes off her blind-fold and she sees adorable puppies, he tells her to pick one she picks a cute golden lab. 

Jenny calls him a clearance puppy as a nickname after Jenny hugs the puppy and they get a little bonding time together, she tells John that she has to go somewhere and that John can take their new puppy with him so they can some bonding time together on the way home. 

John picks him up and takes him out to the car, he has a few surprises for his new dog too. Before John gets in his seat, he puts his golden lab in the passenger seat.

 He then gets into the drivers seat and starts off to his next destination, and starts listening to different songs on the radio, he is also talking to the dog about what he should name him, he tells him different names and he has a different expression for each one, his expressions are so cute to all the names he says. A bob Marley song comes on the radio next and the dog responds to the music of bob Marley. 

John asks him if he likes the name Marley? And the dogs response is by barking yes! John then says Marley it is! You will see in the movie what Marley and John's car ride is like to their destination, It is a cute scene, they have a nice relationship together.

You will also see what Jenny's and Marley's relationship is like in the movie. They have a playful, fun, loving and kind relationship. There is a scene in the movie you will see where Marley comforts Jenny when she is sad. They have a lot of good scenes together in the movie,when Marley can drive Jenny crazy sometimes which you will see in the movie, Jenny loves Marley with all her heart and happy to have him as her beloved dog. You will also see in the movie what happens with John and Jenny something exciting and happy happens in their family. It is a very happy and lovely scene. 

I decided to write about this movie today because I have a dog named Elijah, He is like Marley in different   ways. Marley has a bright personality, he is very caring, kind, and loving. He protects his family, and makes sure they are ok, and happy. 

Elijah always protects me and makes sure I am happy and ok, sometimes when Elijah hasn't seen me in a while, he will do a dog howl because he is so excited to see me.  I think you will see Marley do a dog howl in the movie. Another similarity is they are both afraid of rain storms, you will see how Marley reacts to rain storms in the movie. Elijah is afraid of rainstorms, he doesn't like the noise at all, he will be shaking all over, and my mom or me have to pick him up and comfort him to let him know it's ok and we are there for him.

My favorite scene from Marley and Me is when John gives Jenny a necklace for a special occasion and she sets it down on the table to thank him, after she thanks him she asks him if he can help put the necklace on her and then all of a sudden it goes missing, he asks where did it go? 

She says it was right here, and then they look over and see that Marley has the necklace in his mouth, they slowly go up to him and try to get the necklace back and then Marley decides to run away from them. 

They then decide to split up so one of them could catch Marley and hold him, while the other one tries to get the necklace. After a few chases they finally catch him, John is holding him and Jenny opens his mouth and tells John she doesn't see it Marley swallows it, you will see in the movie how Jenny gets her necklace back. 

My favorite Character is Jenny because she and Marley have a special relationship, I love how their relationship is built in the movie. They are always there for each other Jenny loves playing with Marley and petting him. She talks a lot to him in the movie too. And Jenny reminds me of how me and Elijah are together and our relationship.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good comedy.

College Road Trip

 Hey everyone. I have decided to write about one of my favorite Martin Lawrence movies . It is called College Road Trip it stars Martin Lawrence, Kym Whitley and Raven Symone. 

Martins character is named James and ravens character is named Melanie. James wife is named Michelle and his son is named Trey, he loves doing science experiments. He also has a pet pig that he loves, his name is Albert you will see what Albert does in the movie, he is very cute and funny. 

James is a police chief he protects his community he takes his job very seriously.  But when it comes to his daughter he is a little overprotective because in his mind he wants to know that he is doing everything to keep her safe and happy. And in Melanie's mind she feels like he is not letting her have her independence. 

And not letting her make her own choices of where she would like to go to college, he wants her to go to a college that is close to home because then he won't have to worry about her and know that she is fine because she is close to home, and he is able to easily check on her. 

She wants to go to a different college George-town that is far away from her home which is one of the parts that she likes.

 Before she makes her decision on which college she wants to go to her dad makes the decision of going on a road trip with Melanie to check out different colleges to see if she is interested in any of those colleges instead of George-Town.  

In the movie you will see the road-trip is filled with a lot of adventures and entertainment. And they make new friends on the road trip, you will have to see the movie to see who the people they make friends with Doug and Wendy they are very nice, friendly, happy, out-going people and they also love to sing They have very cheerful personalities. You will see that they sing snippets of different songs in the movie it is very funny. 

You will also see how James and Melanie's relationship plays out in the movie, they have a few ups and downs in the movie, I think you will like how their relationship turns out in the end it is very heart-warming and exciting to see what happens with their relationship after the road trip is done. 

There is also a surprise that happens in the movie with Melanie, when you watch the movie pay attention to the scene when Melanie and her family go on a bus Melanie does something on the bus that has everyone clapping their hands, smiling and dancing it is a really entertaining scene.

I chose to write about this movie today because It reminded me of different road trips I took in my life, I have been on a lot of fun road trips. When I was younger my brother and I went on a road trip with my Grandfather, he would drive us to different states to visit family, It was so much fun! 

While we were on the road to the state that my grandfather was driving us to, he would ask would you like something for lunch? We would always McDonalds and from McDonalds I would always get the same thing chicken nuggets and fries. 

And when he would visit us in Pennsylvania and tell us stories about when we took road-trips together he would say you guys would always want McDonalds for lunch and want chicken nuggets and fries. I have been traveling on airplanes since I was little, I love flying and visiting family. Family means a lot to me, I love my family with all my heart. 

I remember another road trip that my grandma, my Uncle Gary, my aunt Joan and cousin Kevin and his family took a road trip to Pennsylvania where I live for my College graduation. 

They came to celebrate my special day with me, I was so excited to see all of them and very blessed that they all made their way up from Maryland, Charlotte and Virginia to see me graduate from Millersville University, I will always keep that memory in my heart forever.

One other special  trip I remember is when my Uncle and my Big-Brother/cousin who I love dearly came up for my high school graduation, they came up from El Paso Tx to see me graduate from high school and celebrate my special day with me. 

My Uncle Warrie came up from Tennessee and  my Cousin Sharrie came up from Philly. And my Uncle Herb and my grandma came up from Maryland. I was so happy and excited to see my family. It filled my heart with so much joy.

I also chose to write about this movie, because there is a lot of joy and happiness in the movie, It is good to have joy and happiness in life. Joy is a good thing to have because you feel happy inside, and it makes you want to smile and laugh, and live life to the fullest. I always look at the glass as half-full because I like to be positive and have joy in my heart because it matches my personality, I have a friendly outgoing and jovial personality. 

My favorite character from the movie is Melanie because she has a bright and outgoing personality, she loves to dance, and sing. She loves to laugh that is one of my favorite things to do. She loves living life, and being independent. And she also knows that her family is always in her corner whenever she needs them for anything. She also sets goals for herself and does her best to reach them. I I have goals for myself too, like my year-book quote in high school If you can dream it you can do it! Walt Disney.  

One of my dreams is to get married one day and have a family.  I believe that one day that will happen for me. And one of my other dreams is to have my wedding at Disney World with all of my family and friends at my wedding day to celebrate with me. I believe in my heart that the guy God is preparing will love Disney and singing too. 

My favorite scene from the movie is the scene where it is thanksgiving and the girls are coming home for thanksgiving break. The friends that James and Melanie made are over at their house to celebrate thanksgiving with them. Melanie comes in first says hello to everyone and then brings in her friend you will see her friend in the movie. She introduces her friend to her dad, he at first has a little trouble with her friend and then relaxes and says its's nice to meet you. 

James friend Doug congratulates him on being comfortable and being nice to Melanie's friend, he says it takes a strong and good man to do that. His Daughter Wendy is happy to hear him say that because she also brought a friend over to introduce to everyone and to her dad, she introduces him to Melanie's family first and then brings him over to her dad. She brings him over to her dad and says his name is scooter. He calls him dad, and that makes him wince. And then she announces that they are getting married.  Then Scooter starts singing and Doug makes a funny face and freaks out. It is very funny and hilarious it makes me laugh every time. I think you will enjoy that scene in the movie too.

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to enjoy a good comedy family movie.

Why did I get married?

 Hello everyone, I decided to write about a comedy romance movie Why did I get married?? 

It is a really wonderful good movie, with wonderful acting and a great storyline. 

Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith are the main characters in the movie. And there a few main man actors in the movie too. 

They all play wonderful roles. Each couple has a different storyline and something happening in their life. 

Every year they plan a time to get together and talk about why they got married, and do different couple things, and play different games. They reconnect with their mates to become closer and stronger as a couple. 

They also learn more about their friends and their husbands while they are on their vacation. Janet’s character Patricia is a professor and she writes books, her popular book is called why did I get married ? And her friends are the main characters in her book, she is talking about the book in a class filled with students listening to her lecture about her book and her friends. The students start asking her about her friends and how they are doing with their husbands. 

Patricia tells her she doesn’t really like to talk about her friends personal lives, but she gives them some information about what her friends do for a living and what their husband does, also how their relationship is going. 

Her friends name is Angela and her husbands name is Marcus, you will find out about their relationship in the Movie. Their relationship is very funny and dramatic, I think it will make you laugh a lot. 

Her next friends name is Diane and her husbands name is Terry, They are an interesting couple, they don’t really connect a lot with each other, and do very little talking. Angela loves to work and talk on her phone to set up meetings and to make sure everything at her job is being done the way it is supposed to. 

Terry is more of the talker in the relationship, he wants to have a connection with Diane and be close with her like they were close before she started getting all into her work. Terry is upset because she is connecting more with her  phone and work than she is with him. I don’t want to give away too many spoilers, Terry asks her if she can put the phone down while they are on vacation. She agrees and says that she is all his for the vacation. What happens in their storyline is interesting too, there are a couple dramatic parts that happen in their relationship while they are away. You will have to see the movie to find out. 

Her other friend is named Sheila, and her husbands name is Mike. Sheila and Mike have a rocky relationship. Mike puts Sheila down a lot in their marriage, and he gets on her about her weight and the way she dresses. 

Sheila puts up with it because she loves him, and wants to make their marriage work, and save their marriage. Sheila invites her friend to come along with them on the vacation, so while they are on the vacation, her friend can meet someone and they can have a relationship. You will see in the movie what happens with Sheila and Mike, and what happens with her friend. I will say their relationship takes a strong turn. And something good happens for Sheila too in the movie. I think you will be pleased.

The last marriage is Patricia and Gavin. Their marriage is the perfect marriage, and they have a perfect relationship, their friends to go them for advice for everything. They have an interesting story , you will heart about the story in the movie. 

And you will get to see what their friends visualize their relationship is like from their perspective. The thing I like about this movie is you get to choose which character you like the best and which relationship you like and you can switch too, if one character or relationship is driving you crazy. It’s a really entertaining movie that has good life lessons involved in the movie too.

I chose this movie to write about today because I love weddings, and I want to get married someday when the time is right and when I am ready. This movie gives me a little glimpse of what marriage is like, I think marriage is a lot of work, I think also it is a very good thing because you have someone you can spend the rest of your life with and create memories with, experience the world together. 

My favorite character from the movie is Sheila because she is a confident and strong woman. At first in the beginning of the movie, she is taking all of her husbands put downs and is not blaming him at all, she is blaming herself for all of the things he is saying she is. Later she decides not to put up with it anymore, she can see that he doesn’t care about her, and doesn’t respect her or her feelings. 

She meets someone in the movie, she talks with him about her weight and relationship. He tells her that she should be treated like a queen and with respect, and that her husband was not treating her the way a woman should be treated. They start hanging out with each other, and talking with one another and building each other up. 

One surprise is she lost a lot of weight and she feels more happier and free because she had someone to help her and encourage her through her time of loneliness and despair. I think I am like Sheila , I used to be overweight and I would get put down about my weight like Sheila, I didn’t like it either like she didn’t like it, so once this diabetes hit, I started exercising, drinking water, eating healthy foods and I started losing a lot of weight. I felt happy and confident in myself like how Sheila felt. I felt like a whole new Emerald.

My favorite scene is when Marcus and Angela are on the train, they start arguing right off the bat, about different things. And other people get involved in their Argument. It is a really funny scene. It made me laugh a lot.

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good comedy drama movie.
