Anger Management

Hey Everyone!! 

I hope you all are doing well, I can’t believe we are almost halfway to November, 2024 is coming to a close soon! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies Anger Management, starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson. 

We are first introduced to a boy who lives in Brooklyn by the name of Dave Buznik in the year of 1978 he’s about to have his first kiss with a girl and before he does he gets his pantsed by the local  Bully named Arnie Shankman .

25 years after that incident that happened Dave works for a very disrespectful boss named Frank.

Dave’s bullying trauma causes him not to show PDA to his girlfriend in public Linda , his problems are exacerbated by his narcissistic coworker Andrew who is close friends with Linda and is trying to rekindle their past relationship together.

Dave is now on a plane flying somewhere and he loses his temper albeit mildly after being disrespected by a flight attendant and being tasered by the sky Marshall, he is arrested for assaulting the flight attendant, and is sentenced to Anger Management classes taught by Buddy Rydell,  a renowned therapist who sat next to him on the plane.

 However during a group therapy session Dave slightly snaps after not understanding one of Buddys questions and he has to interact with people who have far more aggressive problems than him.

 Dave’s sentence is extended to thirty days after he accidentally breaks his waitresses nose while he defends himself from a blind man’s cane during a bar fight with his anger Buddy Chuck, he is back in court and is on the verge of being sent to prison until Buddy steps in and talks to the judge and says he needs radical around the clock therapy Buddy moves In with him and accompanies him to work.

This entails unorthodox techniques which cause him to be passive aggressive, at Dave’s Job Buddy is shocked to learn about Andrew’s well endowed friendship with Dave’s girlfriend Linda,  after seeing a picture of Linda Buddy becomes smitten with her which annoys Dave.

Dave in the meantime talks with his attorney to see if he can get his sentence overturned and learns from him Buddy has a series of lawsuits pending , Dave attempts to build evidence against him gets foiled by Buddy repeatedly.

While on the way to work Buddy has Dave sing a song and park his car on the bridge and sing a parody of I feel pretty with Buddy to calm his attitude.

Dave received a phone call saying that buddy’s mother needs to have surgery a minor surgery not to the extent that Dave said or exaggerated it to be , Buddy tries to get Dave to cheat on Linda the plan doesn’t work you will see what happens when you watch the movie.

Buddy tells Linda that Dave was with another lady. Linda tells Dave that she agrees with Buddy to have a trial separation , Buddy explains to Dave this gives him time to improve his behavior, he attacks Buddy when he finds out he is dating Linda.

Dave returns to the court where Buddy wants a restraining order against him for attempting to choke him while wearing a neck brace which turns out to be fake, Dave snaps at work when he finds out Andrew got his promotion from Frank, he punches Andrew in the face and wrecks Franks office with a golf club.

He then learns from Andrew that Buddy took Linda to a New York Yankees game , Dave assumes Buddy is trying to steal his marriage proposal idea , he races to the stadium, security captures him they let Dave speak , he announces publicly and to Linda that he is willing to change and Linda is moved you will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens next it is a good and happy ending !

 I decided to write about this movie because with the holidays coming, and thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon ,there’s a lot of fun shopping sprees and sales going on , and people can get pretty excited and sometimes may get a little crazy because they want that certain item in the store really bad. 

I just encourage you all to be careful while you’re shopping and be on high alert, and if you are feeling tense or upset sometimes try singing a song that would probably help you feel better or you get a cup of coffee or a nice sweet treat or try counting to ten. 

Personally It takes a lot for me to get upset, something really has to happen to make me mad , if I do get mad it’s only for a short amount of time, and then I move onto something else. Or I will sit with my dog Elijah , and play with him and cuddle him he gives me kisses and helps me to feel better.

 Or I text about it with my big sister or my mom or family members to let out whatever made me upset and then I feel better, or I listen to Anthony Evans his music helps me, or I listen to Jennifer Hudson or Kelly Clarkson or even Christmas Music. I put a clip about Madea talking with Dr. Phil and how she manages her anger. I added a couple of my favorite songs if you would like to listen. It’s ok to get upset , or get angry sometimes it’s better to let it out then hold it inside if you hold it in too long… it could make you feel badder than you already do.

My favorite scene in the movie is where Dave  and Buddy are singing in the car , while Dave is on his way to work. Dave gets so embarrassed about the singing , it’s such a funny scene I know it will make you laugh once you see it. 

Adam Sandler is absolutely amazing and he is also one of my favorite actors, love a lot of his movies and his work. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have a good laugh.

Legally Blonde

 

Hey Everyone!!! I  Hope you all are doing well. 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Legally Blonde starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Coolidge and Luke Wilson and a whole amazing cast.

 The movie starts off with a character named Elle Woods she also has a dog named bruiser  , she is a California merchandising student and is a sorority girl also she is taken to a lovely restaurant by her boyfriend Warner Huntington the third she is expecting a proposal , he takes a turn on her and breaks up with her instead this is devastating to her.

He is intending to become a successful senator he thinks Elle isn’t serious enough for that kind of life, she assumes she can win Warner back If she accomplishes the same things that he does .

 Elle does a whole lot of studying so she can pass the test she scores a 179 on the law school admissions test combined with her 4.0 Gpa she is accepted to Harvard law School.

Elle has a bright and bubbly personality and it is a contrast to her East Coast Classmates.

Elle also finds out that her ex boyfriend is engaged to a lady named Vivian Kingston who was his previous girlfriend , she befriends local manicurist Paulette Bonafonté.

 Elle tells Warner she decides to apply for an internship the professor is holding Warner thinks that she isn’t smart enough Elle realizes that he will never take her back or take her seriously, Elle decides to prover herself by the understanding of the subject, the following semester Harvard’s most respected professor Professor Callahan hires some first year interns Elle, Warner and Vivian in a high profile case, involving prominent Fitness instructor Brooke Windham , she is Elle’s role model.

 She is accused of murdering her husband she is unwilling to produce her alibi , she secretly shares with Elle her sorority sister that she was having liposuction done during the murder of her husband .

Vivian gains new respect for Elle and they start to become friends Vivian reveals to Elle Warner’s father helped him get into Harvard , Emmett Richmond Callahans junior partner  discovered Elle’s potential also and is starting to like her.

One evening Elle has a talk with Callahan and he tries to make a move on her and seduce her he thinks that’s why she became an intern because she wants to be with him, she became an intern because she wants to be a lawyer he isn’t in that frame of mind she quits the internship and is devastated .

Elle tells Emmett what happened , Brooke fires Callahan and replaces him with Elle under Emmett’s guidance, Elle Cross Examines Brooke’s stepdaughter Chutney and notices inconsistencies in her story which you will see when you watch the movie. 

There is a big surprise that happens in the court scene that surprises the judge Elle, Chutney , Emmett, and even Callahan. It is a good and happy ending, and Everyone is happy even Elle and Emmett and Brooke I think you will enjoy what happens to Warner When he tries to win Elle back after he saw what she could do in the court room.

 I have decided to write about this movie because I love the story line and Elle’s character and how bold and brave she is to achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer even when she was faced with many obstacles and different challenges along the way of  her achieving her dream she still pushed forward and knew that she could do it, people didn’t take her seriously because she was a blonde, and had a fun and crazy personality people only had one thought about her and continued thinking that way once Elle showed what she can do and what she can achieve and she showed that she is an intelligent person even though she is blonde that nothings impossible for her and that you shouldn’t judge someone based on how they act or how they look before you get to know the real person and their heart. 

From Personal Experience, I had trouble reading when I was a little girl, and sounding out words my teachers tried to help me and they would tell me how to sound out the word and would try to help me with reading.

I wasn’t getting it at first and my teachers would become frustrated because they couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t able to read or say the words that was on the piece of paper they called my mom and told her that I wasn’t getting it and that I needed extra help or be in a different class, my mom said I’ll work with her and help her with her words and reading I had a little table at home that I would sit at and read my book , and say the words, I love music my mom would sing the words and say it in a way that I could understand and have it in my mind.

 A little later I went back to school and my teacher had her lesson book on the table ready to teach me, the book was upside down guess what?? I could read the book and the words even with being upside down it had a higher level of words . my teacher was shocked that I could decode the words and  she couldn’t believe it.  my other teachers were shocked and amazed too and very proud of me! My advice to you is before you make an assumption about someone get to know them first and Learn about them because that person may be someone who helps you later in life or become one of your life long friends.

My favorite scene from the movie is when Elle Wins her case, and everyone is so happy for her and proud of her ! I also like when she sees her name on the paper showing who will be part of the special case and once she sees her name she says Me!!!!

Fun fact about Reese Witherspoon, If you already know or didn’t know she is also in the movie Sing she plays the Pig Rosita and she does an outstanding job and really brings the character to life ! Check it out!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good movie and a wonderful fun story.

 

George of the jungle

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies , George of the Jungle starring Brendan Fraser Leslie Mann and a whole cast of wonderful people !

 The movie starts out with a group of people  touring Burundi with a local guide named Kwame and a trio of porters.

 Ursula Stanhope who is from San Francisco is an heiress encounters her fiancé Lyle Van De Groot who is with two other men who are poachers he wishes to take Ursula home and marry her the poachers are to track her down.

Kwame tells the group of a white Ape a local legend of a superhuman primate that lives on Ape Mountain and rules the jungle.

they spend the night in the jungle Ursula refuses to go home until she sees an Ape , Lyle decides to go with her and they look for an ape together while they are in the jungle they encounter a lion, Lyle is scared he knocks himself unconscious trying to get away.

Ursula is saved by the white ape his name is George, George takes Ursula to his tree house and cares for her and takes care of her wounds.

 George introduces her to his friends, Ape the sapient gorilla who took him in and raised him, Shep is his African  elephant pet who acts like a dog and his bird tookie tookie, who is a toco Tucan who gives him news about the other animals .

George is falling in love with Ursula and becoming smitten, Ursula returns the feelings he has for her, and the more time she is spending with him , she grows fond of him.

Lyle max and Thor soon arrive at the tree house and Ursula treats Lyle cold for trying to abandon her during the lion attack.

Max and Thor try to shoot shep for his ivory and Ape shouts to shep to run, everyone is amazed by the ape talking Max and Thor decide to tranquilize him and capture him , George runs to save him, he is accidentally shot by Lyle who thought the gun was his novelty lighter that he was planning to scare George with.

Lyle is imprisoned by the porters who recognize him as the shooter, Max and Thor are deported they plan to return to the tree house and capture the Ape and make a fortune of of him in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile Ursula takes George to San Fransisco to get medical help for his gunshot wound, and to show him the human world he hasn’t seen since infancy. 

While Ursula is at work, George decides to go and look around at San Francisco, on his own and use his vine swinging skills to save a man whose paraglider suspension cables get caught on the bay bridge.

 Ursula admits what happened in Africa to her parents, and intends to break off the wedding her mother Beatrice won’t allow it, she coldly tells George that the wedding will go on as planned, at Ursula’s engagement party, she tells George if he loves Ursula like he says he does then to leave .

Back in the jungle Burundi Max and Thor capture Ape and tranquilize him before he falls unconscious and is captured  and falls unconscious he manages to tell tookie to get help from George , tookie flys to San Francisco and informs George of Apes kidnapping forcing George to leave Ursula and go back to Burundi.

 Ursula is confused about George’s unexplained departure , Ursula realizes she loves George and goes to find him despite what her mother tells her. 

You will have to see the movie to find out what happens with George and Ursula and the rest of the gang, it’s a happy ending and it’s funny what happens with Lyle in the movie.

 I decided to write about this movie because it brings back good memories and fun moments from my childhood, when I was little I would watch the movie all the time on my video tape , it would make me laugh and smile a lot it’s a nice memory to have from my childhood.  

My favorite scene 🎬 from the movie is when George and Ursula interact with one of the monkeys when his friends are picking on him ,George helps him out and tells him how he can get his friends to stop picking on him and look up to him, I also like the scene where George introduces Ursula to his pet elephant Shep that’s a good scene. The movie has a lot of good scenes I think you will enjoy and laugh 🤣 at. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family comedy movie.

Grace Unplugged

Hey Everyone!!! What’s up !!! 

Today I have decided to write about a movie called Grace unplugged starring Aj Michalka, James Denton, Kevin pollak, Shawnee Smith and Jamie Grace, a whole wonderful cast of people.

 The movie starts off with Grace who is an 18 year old young adult who loves to sing she sings along with her dad at church on Sundays and is also involved in youth group.

Her  dad Johnny is very religious and doesn’t let her play anywhere or sing the way she would like he only wants grace to sing religious songs .

Grace thinks otherwise during a church service one Sunday Grace decides on her own to put her own little touch on one of the songs that the band is playing, her dad becomes very upset , her parents want her to focus on getting an education and going to college.

 Grace wants to be a singer and a songwriter,  one afternoon while they are all at home having lunch her dads old producer who managed him stops by the house to get Johnny to be back on tour and singing again.

 Johnny isn’t interested in touring again because he had a few troubles while he was in the business,  and was drinking and doing other things which you’ll find out when you watch the movie, Grace is interested in working with his producer.

Grace decides to go away and follow her dreams and work with her dads producer, when her dad finds out about her running away he is upset and disappointed he doesn’t want grace to get hurt, her mom tells him to let grace find out on her own what it’s like to be on the road and what it’s like to be on the road.

He reluctantly agrees with his wife Michelle, Grace is on tour, and she has first singing event that evening and it goes amazingly and the people love her, and want to hear her sing more I think maybe she does one or two encores, a little later in the tour she gets to meet her favorite singer Renae Taylor. 

She enjoys meeting her and talking with her and then she gets asked out by a movie star and overhears him talking on the phone, she withholds what she hears from her favorite singer, and celebrity. 

People are wanting to hear graces next song and waiting anxiously , they are very excited and looking forward to hearing what she sings next she is struggling with writing her stylist is also in the bathroom and she says something about grace while she is In there and grace leaves very upset.

She runs into a guy named Quentin who offers her dinner at his house with his family, he is a very nice young man, you will see what he is like when you see the movie, he takes grace to the beach and they have a nice conversation, and enjoy each others company which you will see.  

Grace decides to leave a note for her producer telling him that she is going back home and that she has decided to leave. Grace goes to her home church and sees her family they welcome her with open arms 🤗. I can tell you the ending of the movie is a happy ending , the whole family is happy!

  I have loved singing ever since I can remember today is the anniversary also of my grandfathers passing, he was an amazing and outstanding man, he loved music also and loved hearing me sing 🎤, I remember going out to visit him one day and we were siting in his back porch just talking and telling stories and talking about family and memories , a little later in the conversation I decided to sing a little I sang God bless America and my grandfather loved it, he sang along with me his singing voice was strong and bold you could hear in his voice how much he loved to sing! 

That’s a memory I will always treasure another memory is I had visited him again a different time and he had a special gift 🎁 for me he was so excited to give it to me, he had it wrapped and everything it was a music box, and it played the song you are so beautiful to me! 

While the song was playing,  he sang along with it was so sweet 🥹. I miss him so much , I am grateful and thankful for all the time I had with him and all the memories we shared together ! 

He always believed in me and my dreams and always encouraged me to go after them,  I believe he knew and knows that my dream of working at Disney will come true because his nickname for me is princess and there are a lot of princesses in Disney and all my close friends and family call me princess, so it’s a name that carries on to this day and a name I will always treasure and forever love!

 If you have a dream , I encourage you to keep believing In it and pursue it with all your heart ♥️. In a sermon I heard at church recently it was talking about God and how he produces miracles and does things beyond you can imagine or think, my encouragement to you is he will do more than you are expecting and he’s got a blessing with your name on it. 

Aj does an outstanding Job in this movie, she puts her whole heart spirit and soul imot her character and brings her to life !!!! There is a lot of love , and joy , and patience in the movie. 

My favorite scene in the movie is where she does her first music event in front of a crowd she’s at first a little nervous as she gets More into the song everyone loves her and she does an amazing job.

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good heart felt movie.

 

Inside Out 2

 

Hey Everyone, 

I have decided to do a blog on the movie Inside Out 2, starring Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Tony Hale, Ayo Edebiri, Maya Hawke.

 If you aren’t familiar with Inside out 2, you can see the first one Inside out, The movie is about a young girl named Riley, who just moved to a new neighborhood and has to make new friends, she just started a new school and is part of a hockey team. 

And you get to meet her emotions that she has going on in her head, Joy, Anger, disgust and fear they are really funny emotions and have fun personalities you will see when you watch the movie.  

You will love the first inside out movie, be sure to watch the first inside out before you watch the sequel.

In the movie Inside Out 2, We first see joy inside Riley’s mind cheering her on at her hockey game, we see joy calling out all the emotions in Riley’s mind so the viewers can know who they are and what they do to contribute to Riley and help her out.

It has been two years since Riley moved to San Francisco, Riley is 13 years old now and she is entering high school, her personified emotions, Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust and fear now oversee a different element of Riley’s mind, called her sense of self, which houses memories and feelings that shapes Riley’s beliefs.

Joy is attempting to fill the sense of self with only positive memories with a mechanism that launches negative memories to the back of Riley’s mind.

Riley is getting for ready for hockey camp with her two best friends Bree and Grace that is for the weekend, Riley is hoping to qualify for the schools new team the Firehawks, however a puberty alarm goes off the night before camp  and a group of mind workers upgrade the emotion console leaving head quarters in disarray.

 The emotions find out that Riley overreacts to any movement they make to the console, now new emotions are introduced Anxiety who is an orange emotion  , Embarrassment who is a pink emotion , Envy who is a cyan emotion, Ennui is a indigo emotion who arrives and clash with the other emotions over their approaches, in particular joy wants Riley to have fun at camp, while Anxiety focuses on a winning a spot on the team and making new friends.

Riley finds out her friends are going to a different high school , while joy is in control of the panel Riley inadvertently gets the other players punished by  the strict camp coach director Roberts.

Anxiety decides Riley needs a whole new personality to fit in with the older players, Anxiety sends Riley’s emotions away and she launches the sense of self to the back of Riley’s mind and puts her other emotions away in a memory vault, the new emotions anxiety, embarrassment, envy and ennui create a new anxiety dominated sense of self and encourage Riley to befriend Val Ortiz which strains her friendship with Bree and Grace , Joy who is a yellow emotion , Sadness who is a blue emotion , Fear who is a purple emotion , Anger is who a red emotion , Disgust who is a green emotion all escape the vault.

  Joy, fear, Disgust and Anger go to retrieve Riley’s old sense of self while Sadness goes to headquarters to bring them back in a recall tube, Riley is still under Anxiety’s control she sneaks into her coach’s office and opens her notebook to find out that Riley isn’t ready to become a official firehawk yet.

The old emotions find the sense of self built on a mountain of negative memories and thoughts deposited by joys mechanism , they are unable to use the tube to get back to headquarters they cause an avalanche of memories to get back to headquarters, this causes  the negative memories to spill into Riley’s belief system .

Anxiety realizes the sense of self she created for Riley is one of self -doubt which causes Riley to perform poorly on her final tryout match and she accidentally hurts her friend Grace and gets sent to the penalty box,  anxiety is horrified she swarms the console in a whirlwind causing Riley to have a panic attack.

Joy makes it to the headquarters she sees anxiety is in control, she is in paralysis, Joy convinces anxiety that Riley doesn’t need to change to have a better future , anxiety relents and joy puts Riley’s old sense of self back , the panic attack persists , after anxiety admits she can’t determine who Riley is Joy realizes the same applies to her, she removed the old sense of self and allows a new one to form its Riley’s positive and negative memories. 

The emotions embrace the sense of self and it calms Riley and she reconciles with Bree and Grace, the console calls for joy and she happily helps Riley finish the tryouts.

 You will have to see the movie to find out what happens next,  I can assure you it’s a happy ending and will leave you with a smile on your face.

 I decided to write about this movie because I like how the movie discusses all the emotions and feelings that a person goes through and feels from time to time or maybe feels a lot of the time, to be completely real and honest with you guys I can relate to the anxiety emotion that Riley has in the movie, I tend to get anxious often about different things, and sometimes about certain situations or circumstances, or if a big event that pertains to me is happening or something with my family like a vacation or a reunion or something like that I start getting very anxious, I think about all the things that are going to be happening and what I am going to do once I arrive there, like what I am going to say or what I am going to do ???  What kind of things are we going to do? 

Am I going to get to say all that I want to say?? Am I going to be able to take pictures before I leave for home? I have all these kinds of thoughts running through my head constantly all the time, and once it’s time to head home from the vacation , I’m thinking it’s time to say goodbye which is extremely difficult for me because I love my family so much and I enjoy the time that we are together. It’s hard for me to say bye because then I’m thinking when will I see them again ?? Or talk to them again?? Or get to give them a hug 🤗 or a happy smile.

 I get the whole tightness in my chest, and hard to breathe, and the whole racing of thoughts. 

There is a scene in the movie where you see the emotions help Riley with her panic attack, whenever I’m feeling anxious I usually talk to my family or my big sister, and she always knows what to say to help me feel better, my First Lady does too.

 I also get anxious about my work schedule, I’m thinking about hanging up the clothes the right way and making sure that I’m doing a good Job while I am there so I can make sure my managers are happy and the customers at Tj Maxx are happy.

 I also sometimes get anxious about going to my home church, I love my church and my church family and my pastor and First Lady my bestie and big sister goes to my home church and I love seeing her and giving her a hug and happy smile and seeing my other church family members there and saying hello what makes me anxious is not having someone to go with me.

I used to have someone to go with me that has changed now, I still attend my home church and I end up having a very wonderful time, I just prefer having someone with me instead of being by myself, I’ve had a few friends come with me which I’m grateful and thankful 🙏🥹 for, they enjoy the church service as well and have a good time, if I don’t make it to my church or have someone to go with me I go to a different church, I go with my wonderful family friend and neighbor , who kindly and graciously lets me go and attend church with her I’m so grateful for that. 

I only get anxious when I start thinking about different things, and going through the week, especially about Sunday.

 I am also like the character Joy, I am a happy and joyful person and always look for the positive in things and live life joyfully, I also look at the glass as half full. 

Like for example if me and my mom are running around somewhere or going to a event or something and my mom is feeling rushed and feels like we won’t make it in time I will tell her at least were on our way. That makes the whole situation at ease. 

I want you to know if you are dealing with any one of these emotions everything will be ok, you will make it through. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good movie 🎥!!!
