 Hey Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

  I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, I did! I love Christmas with all my Heart, today I have decided to write about a good family Christmas movie .

Starring the Amazing Whitney Houston, Courtney B Vance, Denzel Washington, Loretta Divine and Jenifer Lewis and a whole amazing cast of people.

The story starts out with a young child’s voice his name is Jeremiah Biggs.

He introduces us to someone named Reverend Henry Biggs, he is the reverend of a small struggling African American Baptist Church in a poverty Stricken neighborhood of New York City, membership is declining Henry is being pulled in a hundred different directions by his parishioners needs and the church’s finances are in trouble.

Henry is under a lot of pressure from a real estate developer Joe Hamilton to sell the church’s property so that Hamilton can build luxury condominiums on the site.

Henry has unfortunately become neglectful of his wife Julia and his son Jeremiah, Julia is worried that her marriage is failing unsure he can make a difference in his congregations lives and he is beginning to lose his faith.

He prays to God for help God answers by sending an Angel named Dudley a witty and Debonair angel, Dudley tells Henry he was sent by God.

Henry is very suspicious of Dudley, Julia however is instantly charmed and flattered by the handsome and unflappable Angel, with Christmas coming fast Henry’s schedule becomes increasingly burdensome and Dudley spends most of his time with Julia and Jeremiah.

Henry’s secretary Beverly is becoming comically defensive and aggressive because she thinks Dudley is there to take her job, and Margueritte Julia’s wasp -tongued mother is also suspicious of Dudley she thinks he’s trying to break her daughter’s marriage.

 Dudley and Julia go ice skating and then go to a jazz club for the evening where Julia once performed, Henry confronts Dudley and Dudley realizes he is falling in love with Julia.

Henry turns all of his attention to Hamilton and manages to disrupt his schemes and not let Henry sell the church, Henry realizes his family is the most important thing in his life and he resolves to be a better husband and father. 

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens next it is a beautiful and happy ending, I decided to write about this movie because it’s one of my favorites. 

And I believe that we are sent an angel when we need it the most, sometimes Angels are right in front of us and helping us along the way and cheer up and brighten up our days when it’s feeling cloudy and rocky. My amazing and lovely Aunt I love her with all my heart she calls me her angel and my big sister is an angel to me ! 

And also I love Whitney Houston, she has such a beautiful heart and spirit, and the voice of a beautiful angel and she has a smile that lights up the room, and she left such an incredible and beautiful legacy.

Personally I’ve been a big fan of Whitney’s since I was a little girl when I first saw her in Cinderella 1997 the year I was born with Brandy playing Cinderella and she was the fairy Godmother, she did an outstanding and incredible Job.

She was loved by many and I believe will be and continue to be remembered and loved forever! And Denzel is an incredible Actor he has played many roles in his lifetime and he is also by loved by many. And is inspiring and encouraging to others he puts his whole heart and spirit into the roles and characters he plays, and Courtney B Vance is an amazing Actor too he has played many nice roles and characters and has been in good movies he does a good job in the movie let it shine ! Check it out when you get a chance and he is also married to Angela Bassett who is also an amazing actress and has starred In many movies and is also loved by many!

My favorite scene from the movie is where Julia sings where Henry is preaching and he keeps looking at her, and the other scene  like is where she sings joy to the world ! And also where she sings in the club I believe in you and me ! That’s a wonderful scene!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family Christmas movie and story.
