Parental Guidance

Hey Everyone! 

I hope you all are having a wonderful week I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal, Bette Middler, Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison and a whole wonderful Cast of people.

 The Movie starts off with a man named Artie Decker a sports Commentator for the minor league Fresno Grizzlies is unfortunately fired due to his old- fashioned personality and his lack of being social media savvy.

He tells his wife Diane the news about his firing from his job, then they get a call from their daughter Alice and son -in -law Phil to come to Atlanta to babysit their kids, three children Harper, Turner, and Barker while they attend an Entrepreneur convention in Hilton Head South Carolina.

 When they arrive in Atlanta problems start to Arise as Artie and Diane's laidback personalities collide with Phil and Alice's helicopter parenting... Alice and Phil tell Artie and Diane their kids various things they are dealing with at the current moment.

 Harper has high achievement syndrome, Turner has a stutter, and Barker has an imaginary friend Carl the Kangaroo, Artie and Diane do their best to bond with them.

As soon as they arrive at the house everyone is happy to see them they come bearing gifts for everyone, they give them bobble heads and water guns, later in the evening they go out to dinner at a fictional Chinese restaurant called the Healthy Tiger, Barker calls Artie Fartie, then Artie decides to show Barker the proper way to eat Chinese food which is mix everything together, that makes Barker mad, then he calls Artie Evil Fartie which ends the whole night in chaos.

Then it is time for Alice and Phil to head out for their trip, Alice returns home early when her boss gives her a assignment to redesign the website for the X Games.

Artie uses this to his advantage and arranges a interview for the role of sports Commentator, in a attempt to win the hearts of his Grandkids, he breaks several of the rules Alice has set for them which is not to eat sugary foods and not watch Horror movies.

 Alice is horrified at the situation her mom Diane convinces her that she and Artie will never be good grandparents if she doesn't give them a chance, Alice decides to give them a chance and she goes to back to Phil in Hilton Head.

  I have decided to write about this movie because It talks about family, and how family communicate with each other and can learn different things from each other and how parents have different parenting styles which is ok, everyone parents different than someone who is parenting.

Open communication is a good thing to have in a family because if communication is open then that means you become closer as a family and can learn more about each other and be able to trust each other more than before because you have been openly communicating.

I recently went to a family, and I absolutely love my family and love spending time with them.. I saw at my family reunion that there were different generations of family members, there was the young generation and the wise and venerable and seasoned people.. I enjoy talking and seeing a lot of my seasoned family members because they make me feel so loved and happy, because for example I have a cousin who's a little seasoned, he is very wise and smart and doesn't even look the age that he is with being seasoned in my head I know he's more advanced in age than me.

 I see him as a young seasoned person because of how fun, and friendly and happy he is! He always gives me a big happy smile every time I see him and makes me feel happy inside and outside !

 I also have a couple other cousins that I love and enjoy and they love on me a lot and also make me feel so special and loved, I am so happy to have them as my cousins, and to know that they will always be there for me when I need them.

 I have an amazing and wonderful family and I am so happy to know that they are always in my corner and have someone to cheer me on and encourage me and support me in my journey of life! 

Cherish the moments you have with your family, and take photos and talk with them while you can, and give them big hugs and tell them how much you love them and spending time with them that will be music to their ears, and talk with your more advanced cousins or family members and learn about your family history.

I am sure they have wonderful and amazing stories of your family members and would love to share with you then they can pass the stories down to their kids! And pictures are good because you can look back and see all the memories and happy moments spent together! 

Personally whenever I visit my family, afterwards it is so HARD for me to say goodbye because I LOVE my family deeply and the time spent with them, I give them all hugs and I text a lot of my family members and I created a group chat so we can all stay in touch with one another and talk.

 I will tell you this if you ask any one in my family, If I stay in touch with them and text them they will tell you yes she does 100 percent stay in touch and text my phone Family is forever, they will always love you and enjoy you and every moment with you! I can guarantee you that! 

 There are times when I miss my family a lot and think about them at different times especially when I get a lot of loving from them when I see them,  and when I miss them I think about those moments when they are loving on me and their happy smiles and I feel much better or when I hear their voices on the telephone my heart will skip a beat because of all of the love in my heart for them!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Artie and Diane first arrive to babysit their grandkids and the different situations they get into…. Even in the midst of the situations they go through they come closer together!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movies !
