Hachi

 Hey Everyone!!!!

 I hope you all are having a wonderful and amazing July!!! I am so far! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movie starring Richard Gere, Joan Allen, Jason Alexander, and a whole wonderful cast. 

The movie starts off with a young man named Ronnie who says to his classmates his hero is his grandfathers dog Hachi, then we meet a man named Parker Wilson who is a professor who commutes to providence Rhode Island.

He finds a lost dog lost on the railway station in Bed Ridge and temporarily takes the dog to his home and tries to find out who the owner is of the dog, the dog hasn’t been claimed at all he is growing close to Parker, he takes Hachi everywhere with him.

Parker’s Japanese friend Ken says the dog is a breed called Akita and the character on its tag is called Hachi which means 8 in Japanese.

Parker names the Dog Hachi as it is a lucky number, Parker's Wife Cate eventually warms up to Hachi, he still sleeps out in the shed, Parker in Vain tries to train Hachi in normal things like fetching a ball, however Ken Explains Akita dogs Can't be trained; if Hachi catches the ball it will be for a special reason.

 Hachi digs a hole under the fence in his yard, and follows Parker to the train station, Hachi refuses to go back home and Parker misses his train, he hands the dog to his wife Cate and catches the next train, at 5;00 pm he returns to the station and is surprised to find Hachi there waiting for him.

He is even more surprised to find Hachi came to the station all by himself, from there a daily routine begins they walk to the train station together, Parker leaves from the train.

Hachi goes hime and comes back at 5;00 pm to retrieve Parker to go home, later Parker's daughter Andy marries Micheal and Hachi is in the family photo,Andy then announces she is pregnant.

A little after that Hachi starts acting Strangely and then follows Parker to the railway station with the ball, Parker throws the ball toward him, and much to his delight Hachi fetches the ball for the first time,  and they play for awhile and then Parker goes onto teach his class,  and he barks as the train leaves.

Parker is later shown at his class talking and standing in front of the piano and then he sits on the bench and holds Hachi's ball in his hand and ends up having a fatal stroke and collapses, Hachi waits for him at the train station, it becomes 9;30 pm and Micheal picks up Hachi from the Railway Station and takes him home.

Hachi sees Parker's family mourning him, the next morning is the funeral Parker's friends and family come to his funeral and Hachi goes to the railway station to wait, eventually Cate sells the house and moves away, Hachi now lives with Andy and Micheal and their newborn son Ronnie, even though Hachi is in a new House he follows the tracks to BedRidge.

Andy and Micheal find where he is and take him back home, Andy Realizes Hachi is pining for Parker, she opens the gate for him and Hachi licks her hand, and then runs back to the BedRidge Station and waits for Parker, He waits at the station every day and different vendors on the street and other people that see him or happen to come across him give him some food, a reporter writes a story about Hachi and people send over some money and cards.

Ken reads Hachi's story travels to BedRidge and talks to Hachi in Japanese and tells him he misses his best friend too, on Parker's ten year death anniversary Cate goes to visit his Grave and Ken is there too, Cate is pleasantly surprised and happy to see Hachi who is now elderly still waiting at the station for his friend, later Cate tells Ronnie who is now ten years old the story of Hachi and Ronnie settles in place.

You will have to watch the movie to find out what happens to Hachi later we go back to the present and Ronnie  tells his class his grandfather and Hachi taught him the meaning of "Loyalty" "you should never forget anyone you have loved", he finishes with Hachi will always be his hero, and his class applauds him. 

I have decided to write about this movie because I love my dog Elijah Deeply with all my heart, He is one of the best things that have happened to me, when I was in Middle School, I would write a lot of letters and notes to my mom on how much I wanted a dog and how I would take care of it, and walk it and do all the things that my dog would need, One day my mom saw my neighbors dog and said that dog is so well behaved and is looks like a very nice dog, and she asked what kind of breed the dog is? 

And he shared that the breeder who gave him his dog has puppies that are available and my mom took the contact info and gave the person a call, and then one evening my mom told me were going to for a ride to the store,  and as we continued riding in the car I knew we weren't going to the store because we had passed a few, we finally arrived at the destination and the lady came out and greeted us, her little cute dog greeted us also, we went in and down to her basement and there were puppies there to my surprise and my mom said pick one! 

I said seriously? She said yes, I played with the puppies for a little and picked one the one I picked had already been chosen, then the lady said why don't you see which one comes to you? 

That is what I did and as it turns out Elijah kept coming to me, I picked him and the rest is History!  Elijah is the baby of his litter, He is my whole Heart and Best Friend and my Protector he has been hanging with me since 2010, Elijah is similar to me in different ways He is loving and kind, and funny! He has an amazing and incredible personality , he is strong and loves going on rides, he shares his love with everyone! If he sees you are upset or sad about something he will lay his head on you or look at you sincerely and lovingly with his little cute eyes and give you kisses! 

He gives me kisses all the time lol! Elijah has been through a lot in his fourteen years of life, each of the things he has gone through in his life, he hasn't let any of it stop him! He may be getting older yes… he’s still young at heart and still loves me unconditionally !

 He still runs and loves to go on walks and he isn't afraid to use his voice! When I am away from Elijah, I think about him often, I am thinking is he ok? Is he having a good day?

 I like checking on him if I am on an outing or know that if I am going to be away for awhile that he is ok... I think I am his favorite Person... As soon as he sees me he gets the Happiest look on his face and gives a lot of kisses! Dogs are just like family, if you give them your heart and show how much you love and care for them they will give you the same in return! 

Elijah is a very popular Dog, almost everyone knows who Elijah is!  He also loves Music, His favorite is Disney Music, He loves the Encanto Soundtrack and he enjoys the Lion King! He also loves Watching I love Lucy, Bluey, and  Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ! Elijah is my best friend…  I just can’t stop loving him …. There are sometimes when I get a little grumpy with him when he wakes me up and has to go out… He kisses me lovingly and I take him outside… I would do anything for Elijah  he’s my world … He will be Turning 15 in August! He’s the big Dog on campus! As my Pastor G says Elijah’s fine and he’s all mine ! Lol 🤗‼️‼️

There are so many people in my life that sincerely love and care about me and they know that I love and care about them deeply, I think that I have a bleeding heart for people, l like making sure everyone is ok and letting them I am here if they need anything and they can count on me! 

And I am so happy and grateful to have them in my life and I will treasure and cherish the love and friendship they have for me! 

If any of you have lost someone special in your life or have lost a pet, I want  you to know that you are not Alone, someone will always be there for you in your time of need, don't be afraid to call or text someone if you are needing to talk or just want to hang out or do something I know that whatever person you called or texted would be elated to spend some time with you! 

And Remember all the good ,memories and special times that you had with that special someone or pet and know that they are always with you, even though you can't physically see them they are with you and will never leave you they will love you beyond the day that they transitioned

Whenever you need some cheering up, think of the special person or friend that makes you smile and I can tell you that you will feel much better.

My favorite scene is When Hachi and Parker first meet, and they become wonderful friends and have an amazing and wonderful relationship together! 

I also like how Loyal Hachi was to Parker, even though Parker was gone, he would wait at the train station every day for his master! That is a lot of love Hachi had for Parker!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movie!
