Hey Everyone! I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Cheaper by the Dozen starring Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Alyson Stoner, Hillary Duff, Tom Welling and Piper Perabo. 

It is a good family movie that will make you laugh, possibly cry it will give you happy and warm feelings inside while you are watching and it when its finished.  

The movie starts off with Tom he is a college football coach in Midland Indiana, where he and his wife Kate are raising twelve kids, thats a lot of kids isn't it? 

Kate is a book Writer/Author she has written her story in her book she is sending it to her friend hoping she can publish her book for her. 

One day Tom receives some exciting and surprising news he unexpectedly receives some news from  his old friend and football teammate Shake McGuire to coach at his Alma Mater at his hometown Evanston Illinois, Guess what?

 Tom accepts the offer and he wants his kids to vote on moving to Illinois, Tom lost the vote on the move, he has his whole family move to Evanston for a better home and space,while they are getting adjusted to the new are things at home are tense and the situation at their new school is even worse.

Kate's book is ready to be picked up for publication, Kate has to do a national book tour to promote her book so people can buy her book and read it.

Tom tells Kate that he can handle things in the house hold while she is away, Since Tom has received a new job he hasn't been home as much Kate has been the one at home while he has been away working at the football field with the football players.

 Kate tells him that he has to make sure the kids are ready for their first day at their new school and to make sure they are fed and everything,

Tom's way of handling everything with the kids and the house is he hires his oldest daughter Nora and her boyfriend Hank to manage the kids and everything in the house. 

Hank and Nora arrive at the house, The Kids like Nora they don't like Hank they make a prank on Hank and they soak his underwear in Meat they know their Dog Gunner loves meat, Gunner attacks his buttocks to get to the meat because of that situation Hank refuses to babysit Nora's siblings with her,they leave her parent's house and Tom lectures them about the incident with Hank.

Kate has departed for her book tour Tom realizes he cannot handle the kids all alone, after a crazy night that happened at their house Tom tries to hire a housekeeper to help him no-one wants to work with him because of the amount of kids he has he decides to bring his work home with him he brings the whole football team to his house.

While that seems to be going ok, the kids start getting into trouble at school and Charlie has been removed from the football team.

Kate's children call her and tell her about all the chaos that has been going on while she has been away once she hears everything she decides the book tour is over for her and she is going home.

 Kate's publisher for the book decides to create an additional promotion for the book she wants Oprah Winfrey to do a segment about the bakers in their home instead.  The rest of the movie is really good and heart-felt there is a couple dramatic scenes that happen in the movie and will possibly leave you on the edge of your seat when you watch it is a very happy ending and everyone is happy!

I decided to write about this movie because I love family movies, And I also have a big and loving family that really cares for me and loves me and encourages me and supports me, they are always there for me whenever I need them I love my family with my whole Heart! 

One of my favorite things about the movie is you see how much Love is in the family! One of my favorite Verses is love is patient, Love is Kind! 

These three remain Faith, Hope and love the greatest of these is love! And I have a very loving and caring family, I feel the love from all of them in deep in my Heart! 

For example, I have a cousin who means the world to me his name is Devin anyone who knows me knows how much I love him, I haven't talked with him in a while and I have been missing his voice, while I was walking my beloved boy Elijah I decided to call him and to my amazement I got to hear his voice and talk with him, it made my heart so happy because I had going through a lot recently and hearing his voice made me so happy, before he hang up he said he loved me! 

Always remember to say I love you whenever you can because life is short, and you always want to remember that the last thing you to said someone is I love you! Or something that expresses love because it will make you feel good knowing that you did that and that the person knows that you and love and care for them and that they mean a lot to you! I believe I have a very loving heart and I am very emotion driven which means when I Love I love hard! And I am very passionate about people closet to me and the things I put my energy into!

Another thing I Have to say about family is I have always wanted a big Sister ever since I can remember because Sisters always have fun together, and  have different moments and experiences together they can always remember and hold dear. 

Sisters are always there for you, and love you dearly! I also believe a good sister will help you get back on track when you are getting off the track a little and because they deeply love and care about you they will tell you the truth even when it hurts you know inside it is coming from a good place!  I think its better to have someone who loves and cares for you and will tell you hard truths to help you out because they want the best for you, and because they care about you deeply and the relationship they have with you! 

Rather than someone who acts like they care about you and pretend they want the best for you, and if something is bothering them in the friendship they have with you and never tell you what it is you assume everything is fine when really it is not, and they decide to stop talking to you one day and all communication with you, and you end up confused and hurt because you don't even know what happened. 

Where a real friend will tell you what the problem is and you guys can talk about the situation and move on from there and the relationship will become bigger and stronger because you talked out the situation together and working on the situation together! 

Like You will see how Hillary's Duff's Character Lorraine and Alyson's stones character Sarah interact they don't always get along, they get into little arguments here and there you will see they still care about each other and have each other's back and know they can depend on each other when they need each other.

 I know that I can depend on my big Sister Adrian to be there for me when I need her because she encourages me and loves and cares for me and is a very good friend and big sister!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have a good laugh !

Akeelah and the bee

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well, and having a wonderful week! I have decided to write about Akeelah and the bee today.

It stars Keke Palmer Laurence fishbone  Angela Bassett and  a whole cast of amazing Actors and Actresses, It is also a wonderful Story, light-hearted relatable and a fun movie to watch with family or friends. 

The story starts out with Akeelah who is elven years old she is a spelling enthusiast attends Crenshaw Middle School, a predominately black school in south Los Angeles. 

She lives with her widowed mother who is named Tanya and her three older siblings Kiana, Devon and Terrance and her baby niece Makayla. 

One day her principal Mr. Welch suggests that she signs up for the Crenshaw School Wide spelling bee she initially says no, she is then threatened with detention if she doesn't go for the remainder of the semester because she has skipped school numerous times.  

She enters the spelling bee and wins. Dr.Joshua Larabee who is visiting and is an English professor watched the Crenshaw School Wide Spelling bee gave Akeelah challenging words after she just won the bee he decides she is good enough to enter the Scripps National Spelling Bee. 

Akeelah is looking for a coach he says no and declines her because he was rude to her when she came to his house and asked him to be her spelling coach, because of that Akeelah studies on her own to prepare for the district spelling bee during the bee she misspelled a word during the last round of the bee.

Thankfully she gets another to qualify for the regional bee after her sister Kiana catches one of the other finalists cheating,Akeelah meets and befriends another contestant who is in the bee his name is Javier Mendez a twelve year old Mexican-American Boy and fellow speller, he invites her to join the spelling club at his middle school in woodland hills while she is there she meets another contestant his name is Dylan Chui he won second place at the past two national spelling bees and is in his final year of eligibility.

 Akeelah misspells another word Dylan tells her she needs a coach. After the bee Javier invites Akeelah to a party while her mom Tonya is saddened by her brother Terrence's behavior, Akeelah's grades and frequent truancy, her husbands death at the hands of a mugger five years prior. Guess what? Her mom finds out about her spelling she doesn't allow Akeelah to go to the regional bee she makes her attend summer school for the classes she has missed.

 Akeelah does something to prevent this prohibition she forges her father's signature and secretly studies with Dr.Larabee . Akeelah is at another party with Javier and she is playing Scrabble Dylan is at the party too she was playing against him and won the game later during the party she hears Dylan's father berating him and yelling at him because he got beat by a girl.

It is now time for the bee her mom Tonya finds out her being there and interrupts her before she can spell her word. She chastises Akeelah for coming to the bee without her permission she relents after a talk with her spelling coach and her principal.

Javiar Stalls the judges so they can't remove Akeelah from the competition, Dylan, Javiar , Akeelah all advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. I don't want to give any spoilers away the rest of the movie is very powerful and uplifting it has a happy ending for everyone in the story. It has a few dramatic scenes and very moving scenes that will touch your heart and spirit the whole cast does an outstanding job in the movie. 

I decided to write about this movie today because it is very inspirational and very encouraging, Keke Palmer does an outstanding job in this movie, you really feel like she is the live character that she is playing in the movie.

Also seeing how she loves to spell and really excels, It makes me think of singing and how much I love to sing Like Akeelah  put her mind and heart into her spelling, I know that I can put my mind and heart into my singing and achieve my dreams like Akeelah achieved her dreams and became an amazing and excellent Speller. She also had a lot of encouraging family and friends in her life and corner and people who believed her and knew that she could excel and could do big and amazing things when she put her mind and her self into it.

My favorite Scene from the movie is where she is spelling a word and she spells some of the word at first and is having a little trouble remembering how to spell the rest she then remembers a technique she uses to help her remember how to spell tough words she jumps rope to get her mind jogging on the word, she lifts up her hands and pretends she has a jump rope and starts moving her hands in a jump position and then starts spelling the word the judges gave her and she gets it correct and everyone cheers for her and is so happy for her.

 I also like the part where her mom tells her she has 50,000 coaches to help her with studying her spelling words on the cards and preparing for the bee, I feel like I have 50,0000 coaches and people in my life too they are also there to help me and encourage me support me, and give me talks whenever I need one because they care about me. 

Keke Palmer is one of my favorite actresses, I love her personality and her singing voice, she is also an amazing actress I enjoy her movies in one of her movies her character is named Emerald that blew my mind I was like WOW! She is so caring and kind  and very sweet and a wonderful mother you can tell how much she loves her son Leo. 

 I really enjoyed her performance of Cinderella in New York City, She was an amazing and Beautiful Cinderella that was my first time seeing her in person and live I enjoyed the play so much! Sherri Shephard also did an amazing job playing the stepmother, she made me laugh a lot when she was acting in the play. The whole cast did an amazing job and gave an excellent performance I loved the finale of the play when everyone came out and Sang the Audience sang along they sang Impossible everyone was clapping along to the song when everyone was taking their bows and Keke was singing and dancing along to the song and waving to everyone that put a smile on my face , that is a night I will always remember!

I like Angela Bassett too, she is also a very strong Actress and portrays every character in the movies she is in with all her heart, you can feel the character come to life like when she played Queen Romanda in the Black Panther she did an outstanding job you really felt like she was the real queen of Wakanda.  She put her heart and soul into it, like she put her heart into the role of Tina Turner you felt all her passion and energy in the role of Tina throughout the whole movie.

She also did an outstanding job of playing Rosa Parks. I also liked her in Jump the Broom, she is in a lot of good and wonderful movies! She did  an amazing job with this role! 

Laurence Fishburne does an excellent job in the movie, he is an excellent coach and teacher you can see how much he cares about Akeelah and how he wants to see her succeed in life and see how strong she is and what an amazing speller she is. He is in a lot of movies too, His character Pops in Blackish makes me laugh a lot. He seemed to enjoy playing that character in the show. The Cast of Black-ish is a really good and strong Cast you can tell they all really care about each other and love each other. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good family movie!

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

Hey Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

 I have decided to write about a Martin Lawrence Comedy movie , It stars Martin Lawrence and Monique Cedric the Entertainer, James Earl Jones, Micheal Clarke, Nicole Ari Parker. 

The Movie starts off with Roscoe J Stephens who is a talk- show host,he has a lot of adoring fans and is engaged to Survior Winner Bianca Kittles. 

Roscoe and his family are getting ready to back to southern roots to celebrate his Parents 50th Wedding which he was reluctant to going to, his ten year old son is very excited about the celebration and seeing his grandparents and family members he has not seen in a while! 

RJ wants to prove to his family, he has grown up and changed and not someone that they can pick on and make fun of anymore.

 They make it to Georgia and he is welcomed by one of his cousins named Reggie, he likes to pick pockets his girlfriend Amy came along with him, they accompany him to the family home where he greets his parents Roscoe Sr, Mama Jenkins and his brother Otis who is the town sheriff, he then sees his brother's wife Ruthie and their overgrown kids Junior and Callie, he then sees his sister Betty.

 Roscoe's Cousin Clyde then appears at the celebration they don't really get along, they are really competitive with each other and with seeing him again it sparks up the competitiveness in him, he is escorting his crush Lucinda, his past love interest you will see the story of that when you watch the movie.  

Roscoe has spent nine years away from his family, he wants to impress his family and friends with his newfound money and success he doesn't succeed at this point in time. 

While he is visiting with his family he has many different self-humiliations, while they are playing a game of softball he hits his mom in the head with a softball and it leaves a mark on her head, the thing that happens is he gets beat up by his big brother Otis and his sister Betty because he insults them. 

He faces a lot of blackmail by his cousin Reggie, and then he ruins the fish fry by getting into a physical fight with his cousin Clyde, because he got into a fight he has to sleep outside while he is outside he gets sprayed on by a skunk, later it becomes obvious he is still holding a grudge against his dad for showing favoritism treatment to his cousin Clyde rather than him when they were younger. 

His dad is disappointed in him because he changed his name and distances himself from the family, Bianca and the family aren't getting along well.

 Roscoe and his past crush Lucinda are getting reacquainted,It is now the official day of his parents anniversary and they have set up an Obstacle course  which is a condition, Roscoe races against Clyde while they are racing they hurt themselves and others.

 Roscoe begins to climb the wall, his son is having trouble he stops to help him, then Bianca tells him to leave his son and beat Clyde, he beats him to his parents amazement, they race to the finish line Roscoe Wins just like he did 20 years ago. 

As Bianca cheers Roscoe berates his family by telling them it is the team of him. The family is disappointed and Angry at Roscoe's arrogance, Jamal doesn't want to go anywhere near his father, Roscoe then yells at his at his dad he knows Clyde lost his father he doesn't understand why he had to lose his, he chastise him for always acknowledging Cldye's accomplishments and none of his successes that he has made.

His father is stunned and feels guilty about what Roscoe said knowing that he is the reason Roscoe left nine years ago. When you see the movie you will see what happens between Roscoe and his cousin Clyde and the rest of the family, I can assure you it is a happy ending.

I decided to write about this movie because it is a good family movie, and teaches about how to love and forgive family, even if they did something wrong or did something to make you upset they are always going to love you and be there for you whenever you need them to be. 

It reminds me of my family,they are always there for me and I know they will always love me.

One of my favorite scenes from the movie is When Roscoe returns to the celebration and everyone is surprised and happy to see him, he says a wonderful speech that is very heartwarming and it makes everyone happy and smile.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves comedy movies and loves to laugh!

Mrs. DoubtFire

 Good Afternoon everyone, I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far, I have decided to write about one of my favorite Robin Williams movies.

 Mrs. DoubtFire It always makes me laugh and smile, It stars Robin Williams, Sally Field, Matthew Lawrence, Lisa Jakub, Mara Wilson and Pierce Bronson. 

The Movie starts off With Robin's Williams Character Daniel Hillard  he is a freelance voice actor he lives in San Fransisco, he is a devoted and loving father to his three children 14 year old Lydia, 12 year old Christopher and 5 year old Natalie,(Nattie) for a nickname.

 His wife Miranda is a hard worker and loves her job she is obsessed with work she works as an Interior decorator she thinks Daniel is immature and unreliable.

 One day Daniel goes into work and he decides to quit his job because of a disagreement over a script for a tv show, when he leaves his job he throws a crazy  birthday party for his son and invites a lot of people and animals over to the party.

 Miranda told Daniel she didn't want Christ to have a birthday party because of his bad report card he ignored Miranda's objections and threw the party anyway.

Miranda comes home from work and sees all what is going on at her home, she gets so mad and upset that she tells Daniel she cant live like they are living anymore.

She wants a divorce, Daniel is heartbroken about the whole situation he honors Miranda's wishes on what she wants and they go to court, at their first custody hearing the Judge and court grant sole custody of the kids to Miranda and Daniel can have visitation rights every Saturday and that is due to him not having a job and being homeless.

 There is the possibility of shared custody that is continent on Daniel finding a job and a place to live within three months time. 

Daniel decides to focus and rebuild his life, he secures a new apartment and a job as a shipping clerk at a tv station after he is done with work his kids come to visit him and they have dinner together before they get a chance to finish Miranda shows up to pick them up to go home, while the kids are getting ready to leave he finds out from Miranda that she is looking for a House Keeper.  

She shows Daniel the form she is using to spread the word about her needing a housekeeper while Daniel has the form he makes a few changes to it, he calls Miranda and because he is a voice actor he uses different voices of undesirable applicants for the job, he makes the voices he uses sound terrible and bad because he doesn't want miranda to have the chance to hire a good house keeper yet. 

He finally brings out the big guns on the next voice because he knows the voice that he using now will be hired for the job. 

He says his name is Mrs.Euphegnia Doubtfire, she is and Elderly British Nanny with Strong Credentials, Miranda is very impressed, she is so impressed that she invites her over for an interview. Daniel asks his brother Frank who is a makeup Artist and his Frank's friend Jack to create a Mrs. Doubtfire Costume and a prosthetic face to make look like an older woman. 

Miranda likes her so much that she gets the job following the interview, the kids at first have a hard time with Mrs.Doubtfire they eventually get used to her and turn the corner their mom learns to become more easygoing  and close with her kids. 

Daniel starts to learn more household skills, as part of him keeping up his role as the nanny and he's starting to earn Miranda's respect, as things are starting to become good and happy a situation appears that has to do with him seeing his kids Miranda has put all her trust into Mrs.Doubtfire than Daniel and she isn't able to dismiss her. 

Miranda also has a new boyfriend his name is Stuart and Daniel is jealous of him because he is getting close to his family and kids. 

When you watch the movie you will find out how Lydia and Chris find Out Mrs.Doubtfire is their dad, there are a few more surprising twists and turns that happen in the movie, I do not want to spoil it by giving you all the information that happens.  I can tell you that is a happy ending and everyone is happy! 

 I decided to write about this movie because I have always loved this movie and Robin Williams is one of my favorite actors, he always leaves me with a smile on my face and makes me laugh a lot. 

When you watch the movie, you feel like Mrs.Doubtfire is a real person and someone that you can have fun with and connect with , someone that you would love to have as a nanny and friend. 

He puts his whole-self into Mrs. DoubtFire and brings her to life.

 I watched the movie a few times when I was a kid, and it always was an enjoyable and happy time for me. 

And it warmed my heart a lot, the whole story is wonderful and the actors who are in the movie portray their characters so well, you can feel within yourself all the emotions they are feeling in the movie. 

My favorite Scene from the movie is, I like a few scenes from the movie, one of my favorite scenes is when Daniel gets found out after he saves stuart from choking, Miranda starts freaking out, and she keeps repeating his name and doesn't know what to do with herself. 

I also like the scene where Daniel is making Tea for someone that visits his house, and his mask gets run over by a car, he has to find a new face to put on, he doesn't have a lot of time to find a face so he puts his face in a cake and there is icing covering his whole face, and when the person who is visiting him comes into the kitchen and says his name, he says Hello ! 

And she is surprised because she wasn't expecting to see his face looking like that, he explains why his face looks like that and tells her that the person she is expecting to see will be out shortly to talk to her.  

The whole movie will leave you on the edge of your seat and will keep you happy!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3

Hey Everyone, Happy October! 

I recently saw the movie my Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, It is a good movie. I really enjoyed it, It stars all the same cast from the original movies and a few new people added this time in the movie. 

The story continues with the Dad Gus passing away and also Toula's husbands dad Ian also passed away and this all happened a year ago, the feeling of the passing of the father's is still fresh and raw.

They are all moving along in their own way, the Mom Maria is suffering from the early stages of Dementia,she is being cared for by her daughter Athena and Athena's husband Yianni also her brother Nick who has moved back into the childhood family home, and he is recently separated and has moved back to the ways he used to act. 

Toula who we all know she is still happily married to her husband Ian, who's recently retired from teaching and their daughter Paris is having some troubles in college which you will find out about when you watch the movie,she is away from her family for the first time.

 Toula received an Invitation from the mayor of Vrisi, her dads village where he grew up, Toula and her family are headed off to Greece for a reunion.

 Aunt Voula sets up a reunion with Aristotle as her assistant for the trip, Paris and Aristotle had a brief relationship in college and will not tell anyone until they are ready.  Toula wants to fulfill her father's dying wish he wants her to give his childhood journal to his friends that he grew up his three childhood friends. 

They make it to Greece and meet the Mayor Victory, she is a distant relative of theirs she leads them on their way to Athens, while they are on their way to Athens they see some sight spots and they have a ceremonial swim when they make it to their homeland. 

When they arrive to their destination they find it empty and not lively, they eventually find the house their father lived in as a little boy, they are unsure about the house but decided to go with it and the make the best of the situation with living like their father did. 

The next morning they meet someone named Alexandra their father's old flame, which she reveals to them and they also find out from Victory that there isn't a family reunion.

 Victory is hoping if they invite enough people they will come and bring in business for the village the Portokalos family is the first to arrive, It is also revealed Victory is only the mayor because there are very few people left in the village and no one else wanted the job.  

The next day they try to get use to their new surroundings and Toula goes on a search for her father's friends none of the people she talks to seem to remember who the friends are. 

They give her a lot of shots of a drink and it makes her tipsy, she remembers a man watching her. Paris is brushing off Aristoles pursuit of her she is hiding a secret of her own. Nick plays a prank on Ian which you will see when you watch the movie, Nick is looking for a tree in the village and Ian goes to the beach and he befriends a Monk and he tells him all about the village and people.  

That night they have dinner all together and they meet Peter, the man Toula saw watching her his mom Alexandra reveals he is her illegitimate son with Gus who she never told him about he is Nick's and Toula's half brother. 

They also meet Christos Peter's Son and Quasar Alexandra's assistant originally from Syria, they and Paris all to go a club after dinner and reveal to them they are in a relationship together and intend to marry each other and plan for their future together.  

The rest of the movie is very lively and entertaining and has a funny twists and turns that go along in the movie when you watch it is a happy and loving ending. 

It will leave your heart filled with joy and laughter and keep you smiling.  The cast does an outstanding job in the movie, the scenery is absolutely amazing and beautiful.  

When you watch the movie you will feel like you are part of the story and probably feel like you can relate to the characters in a way. 

I decided to write about this movie because it is one of my favorite movies, and because it reminds me of my big family, and how everyone is always together laughing and smiling, having a good time with one another, and everyone cooking together. 

My family is very protective over me they all have their own way of protecting me and caring for me. My family loves how I keep everyone connected and talking with one another because they then get to talk with one another, if it is not face to face at least it can be over the telephone.

 My family knows how much I love and care for them, I send my family messages almost every day because I want them to know much I love and care for them and how blessed I am to have them in my life.  I think I am like the character Toula in the movie, she does everything for her family, she has a big loving heart like me, I would also do anything for my family just like she does. 

 I did zoom birthday parties for my family each month to celebrate their birthdays during Covid It was a lot of fun, family members got to see other family members we haven't seen or they haven't seen in a while, there was a lot of joy in my families faces and they all loved it that made me very happy to see them happy!

 

I love how the movie explains how much love is in the family and how they are always there for each other and can always count on one another.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves big happy family families and wants to laugh and smile! It is a wonderful Movie!

My Big Fat Greek wedding 2

 Hey Everyone! I hope you all are doing well, I have decided to write a blog on the movie my big fat greek wedding two.

 It stars Nia Vandals and John Corbett It is a good movie It starts off with Toula and how she is doing in her life, her travel agency and the family dry cleaners have closed due to a recession.

 The only business that is still open is the family restaurant  that her father Gus,still runs, Her husband Ian is the principal at their daughters school who is named Paris.

 Paris is applying to different colleges and she is feeling pressure and smothered by her family because they all have opinions in the colleges she wants to   go to and they constantly interfere in her life, despite her independence and privacy she applies to school across the country. 

Her moms and dads marriage has become strained because her grandparents always wants her mom for different reasons, and her mom also wants to be involved in her life, she wants to fix every problem that goes wrong in her family.  

Tuloa''s dad Gus has convinced himself that he is related to Alexander the Great, he wants to do something on an Ancestry website for confirmation while he was looking through his records for information guess what he finds?

 He finds out he and his wife Maria aren't legally married their marriage certificate was never signed by the priest,technically invading their union, he asked his new priest to sign it the new priest  told him he isn't allowed to he is willing to do a marriage ceremony.

Gus and Maria have been together 50 years he insists on getting married again after that much amount of time together, Gus didn't propose properly before they got married,she wants to be proposed to properly now and Gus refuses to propose properly and that made maria mad, she refuses to go through with the ceremony in the mean time Toula and Ian are out on a date to rekindle their romance, when they get back from their date they make out in the car and her family catches them they are very embarrassed.

Her dad ends up in the hospital and before he is loaded into the ambulance he asks Maria if she will please marry him she accepts and the wedding planning begins,Maria has never had an official wedding before she hires   a wedding planner who quits after the family becomes too much for him. 

 The whole family pitches in the wedding including Ian's parents. You will have to watch the movie to see what else happens, I can tell you the wedding is beautiful and happy, and has a few funny scenes that happen before the wedding happens and a couple dramatic scenes. 

I can tell you it will put a smile on your face and leave you with a smile in your heart too! It always makes me laugh! The third movie just came out which I am really excited to see, I will tell you about that one when I see it which is this Friday!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Paris is looking at different colleges, and she doesn't know her family is there yet until she hears them, and all her family is telling the person to accept Paris and that they will love her, and that she is an excellent Student and does very well in school!

 They bribe him with different things to accept her in their school and tell him what they will do if they don't accept her, it is a whole thing it will make you laugh!  I wrote a blog on the first My Big Fat Greek wedding also, if you haven't yet check that one out too!

  

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have a good laugh !

Respect-Jennifer Hudson

Hey Everyone! It's September Whoo-Hoo! It is J-Hud's birthday soon September 12th! I have been a fan of hers since I was seven years old ever since I saw her on American Idol. 

 I have been following her. She is an outstanding woman, Incredible singer and Actress. I have decided to write about the movie Respect starring Jennifer Hudson, Marlon Wayans, Forest Whitaker, Mary J Blige, Audra McDonald,Skye Dakota Turner, Hailey Kilgore,Sayon Sengbloh.  

It is the movie based off of Mrs.Aretha Franklin, She was an Incredible woman and Person, she lived an amazing life she loved her family, her friends and her grandchildren, she also loved to sing you could hear how much she loved to sing in her voice the way she would project when she would sing her songs, and do different shows and other outings. 

With everything that she went through in her life, she never gave up she still kept her faith in God and kept the faith within herself and came out a strong and wonderful lady she didn't let anything keep her down. 

She wanted to make a movie about herself telling her life story, she wanted everyone to see what her life was like and all the things that she went through as a child and young adult, she was looking for someone to play her, she wanted it to be someone good and strong, that could portray her in the movie how she would want to be portrayed and looked like, and someone that had a strong and incredible singing voice like her's Is. 

 One evening she had a concert tribute and different celebrities honored her by singing a few of her songs, Miss. J-Hud was at the tribute concert and the concert was like her audition for the role of playing Aretha in the movie.

Aretha was really enjoying and loving J-Hud's performances of her songs that she has done in her lifetime. After J-Hud finished her section of the performance Aretha nodded her head in approval and J-Hud knew from then on that she would be playing Mrs.Aretha Franklin. I believe Aretha said she knew she made the right choice when she chose J-Hud to portray her in the movie because she knew that she would make her proud and do her justice. Aretha only wanted J-Hud to play her.

Aretha loved J-Hud and J-Hud loved Aretha they have supported and encouraged each other the whole time they have known each other and were blessed to be in each other's lives. I believe if Aretha was alive she would be so proud of Jennifer and say Amazing Job I am very proud of you and give her a big smile and hug!

The Movie Respect Starts out with Aretha as a little girl, her family is having a party at her house, and Aretha is getting ready for bed,  she is ten years old, she lives with her father who is a pastor of Detroit's largest Baptist church, she also has siblings named Cecil, Erma and Carolyn. 

Aretha's father loved to hear her sing and would often have her sing for the parties at their home to entertain the guests, her mother and father were separated she liked Aretha to have her independence.

 A little incident happens with Aretha and a family friend while Aretha is dealing with that situation she has another one come along the unfortunate death of her mother Barbara passing away traumatizes her and she is silent for weeks it frustrates her father to the point of he demands her to sing at church. 

Later we see her as a young adult and as a mother of two teen boys she doesn't want to say who their daddy is, she is touring as a gospel singer with Dr.Martin Luther King Jr,  Later she meets a local producer named Teddy White her dad has a feeling about him and warns him to stay away from Aretha.

 Her dad surprises her with a meeting at Columbia Records with an executive named John Hammond. She accepts the contract to Jazz record Standards,Including Ac-Cent-Tchu-ate the positive. 

 She has produced four albums so far, she doesn't have a signature hit yet, she is singing at a club she wants to honor a family friend named Dinah Washington by singing one of her songs she is furious she gives advice to Aretha telling her to sing songs that move her.

 She is having a hard time with the influence of her dad being on her all the time, She begins a relationship with Ted White when they are really serious she brings him home to meet her family it causes a ruckus and her dad almost shoots him.

Aretha announces to her dad and her sisters that Ted is her manager, that makes her dad very upset and disappointed you will see what happens in the movie when he finds out about Ted being her manager!  A couple of years go by they are married and they have a cute little child.

Aretha is making and selling albums she has 9 albums out now isn't that something? Unfortunately with having 9 albums out she isn't very successful I know it's a bummer, the record company that she was with Columbia drops her.

 Her Husband Ted makes a deal with a veteran producer named Jerry Weller of Atlantic Records he introduces her to a group of white musicians in Muscle Shoals in 1967, Aretha records a song called I never loved a Man the Way I love you! 

Shortly after that things take a turn for the worse with Ted and her, he is a very jealous man because of his jealousy he becomes very violent with her and hits her a lot. She goes back home to Detroit with something you won't believe a black eye I couldn't believe it.

I felt so bad for her it made me want to protect her and fight him for hurting her, You don't treat a woman like that, your supposed to treat them with respect and honor. 

He obviously didn't do that, so she leaves him for a little bit and she decides to take her career into her own hands and makes her sisters her backup singers. 

Despite what her sisters and her dad says she reunites with Ted, Aretha and Carolyn come up with an Idea they are inspired to rearrange a song by Otis Redding Respect the version they did becomes a number one single Yay! That launches Aretha to stardom by her 25th Birthday. 

She has another event in Detroit which Dr.King honors her for her support of the women's civil rights movement proclaiming February 16 Aretha Franklin Day! 

Guess what she has another signature hit the song You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman, her career is also complicated on the other hand because of Ted' s Volatile behavior. 

She has a European tour in 1968 that she is embarking on, she is confronted with a Time magazine cover story about Ted's abuse and what he has been doing to her. 

By the goodness of God and her Incredible Knowledge she finally casts him out of her life I was happy when she did that I couldn't stand seeing her hurt. 

You will the love the rest of the movie, you will see what she overcomes and goes through in her journey of life, and see all of the albums that she has successfully made and sold out to people all around the world. 

The rest of the movie is outstanding, wonderful and amazing! It will show what Aretha has overcome in her life and how strong she is! And How God was always in her corner protecting her and guiding her every step of the way!

I decided to write about this movie because I have always loved Aretha Franklin and her music it always makes me want to sing and dance!

 I love J-Hud I think that she has a beautiful singing voice it sounds so strong and bold! 

J-Hud has gone through a lot in her life too she lost a lot of family members she still has a smile on her face and joy in her heart and still pressing on in the midst of everything! She is an EGOT Winner Emmy, Grammy,Oscar, Tony. She has come a long way since American Idol Season 3. J-HUD and I also have something in common we both love the color purple it means royalty. 

Even when Simon told her that she wouldn't make it and he didn't think she was good! She proved him wrong, she did make it and won an award for her performance In Dream Girls! Simon is very proud of her and happy for her he has seen all the remarkable steps she has made in her life. 

She did an outstanding performance in Cats I love when she sings Memory in the movie it is such a heart-felt performance she puts her all into that song!

 She also does an amazing job in the Hairspray Live Movie where she plays Motor-Mouth MayBelle. She sings I don't know where I've been outstandingly. When she sang that song it gave me a warm feeling in my heart. 

She is the wonderful Host of the Jennifer Hudson Show she is doing a spectacular Job, she makes everyone smile and brightens their day! I love her theme song for her show Happy Place! It makes me happy every time I hear the song, she makes all her guests feel right at home!

My favorite scene from the movie is when she sings Respect with her sisters at the piano and then it shows her singing the song live she really gets into the song then it makes me want to sing along with her when I see that scene in the movie! 

 I also like when she sings think, she does an outstanding performance with that song as well! She really channeled Aretha and brought her to life throughout the whole movie I believe she did her proud!

 I recommend this movie to anyone who loves Aretha Franklin and J-Hud! It is a good movie that the whole family can enjoy and sing along to!
