Black Nativity

Hey Everyone I have decided to write about the movie Black Nativity It Stars Forest Whitaker, Angela Basset, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J Blige, Jacob Latimore. 

They are an outstanding cast and do an amazing job in the movie, the movie is very heart-felt and a good warming story.

The movie starts off with Naima who is a single mom and raising her son Langston they are having a bit of a hard time and struggling a little. 

Naima is trying to make ends meet and provide for her son Langston with a heavy heart  she sends her son to spend time with her parents who she is estranged from at the moment. 

As you watch the movie they will go into that part as the movie goes on into the story, she sends him to his grandparents because they are about to be evicted from their house and she doesn't want langston to go through all of that trouble and struggle.  

While he is on the bus he talks to a man named Isaiah and then Langston sings a song Motherless child.He arrives to his destination and as soon as he gets there he gets his backpack stolen by a kid while he was trying to make a call to his grandparents .

He chases the kid and he ends up getting away so then Langston goes to a hotel. And he tries to get some help from the front desk at the hotel, the front desk tells him to wait a second he is helping another customer. 

The customer leaves his wallet on the desk and walks away and Langston sees his wallet on the desk, he at first thinks about stealing it, he knows thats the wrong thing to do he turns around and tries to tell the customer he left his wallet. 

Then he gets the wrong idea and thinks he is trying to steal it and the front desk calls the police and he is taken to jail, while he is in Jail one of the people in the cell starts talking to him and asking different questions like how he did end up in the cell? 

Langston tells him he stole a wallet, and the guy then starts teasing him and making fun of him and talks about his mom which makes him angry. 

He tells the person who we find out later in the movie his name is Tyson he tells him to keep his mama out of it because she has nothing to do with it. 

A couple minutes later one of the officers call his name and he tells Langston he has made bail, his grandfather bails him out this is their first time meeting each other. His name is Reverend Cobbs, while they are on their way back home they meet a girl who is expecting her name is Maria, you will see her character again a little later in the movie. 

Langston arrives at his grandparents house and he meets his grandma also for the first time. Her name is Aretha he is surprised about what his grandparents house looks like and how they are living and surprised to know they don't know a lot about him or his mom. 

His grandfather tries to bond with him he shows him a watch he got personalized from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Langston thinks the watch is very cool and interesting. 

You will not believe what he does next with his grandfather's beloved watch.The next morning he takes his grandfathers watch and takes it to a pawn shop to try to pawn it off and receive money for it . 

Little does he know the owner of the pawn shop knows his grandfather and his father. He tells him to take the watch back to his grandfather and to treasure it. 

Outside of the shop he meets the man who he was in the jail cell with he calls Langston Lunch Money. He is passing out flyers for the pawnshop owner and promises Langston he will procure him for whatever he wants.

 Langston is talking with his grandmother Aretha and asks her why his mom left. 

He thinks that he caused the fight and that is why she left, his grandmother tells him he was not the cause of the estrangement his father was the reason behind the estrangement. 

Langston was invited to go to church with his grandparents that evening. Before he leaves he finds the same man from his jail cell and who was at the corner of the pawn shop. He tells him he wants a gun. The Man then tells Langston to meet him at the same spot later that night. 

Langston arrives at the church and they start the play and he falls asleep and is having a dream about the play and he dreams he is a part of it and sees different scenarios in his head.

,Langston wakes up and leaves the church to go to meet the man who he shared a jail cell with. He shows him the gun he wants and Langston takes the gun and holds him up he wants him to give him a ring he saw earlier in a display case.

He also wants all the money from the cash register. Instead of doing what Langston asked he quotes a dream deferred to him he reveals he is Langston's father Tyson.

A police officer sees what is going on and he comes inside and Langston's father convinces him that they were having a very loud argument and that Langston was trying to get  him to go to church with him. 

The officer escorts them to church and that is where Langston sees his Mother Naima. 

The rest of the movie is very uplifting and strong! I decided to write about this movie because I love Christmas and I also love Music! 

My church and family are very Important to me.  Church and Family are very strong subjects in this movie.  

This movie really touched my heart and really encouraged me . It gave me strength and bravery I have been dealing with different fears in my life, and one of my fears was attending church alone.

 I know I am not alone because God is with me and he has not given me a spirit of fear,the scene that really encouraged and inspired my heart is when J-Huds character walks inside the church that she hasn't been too in a long time, she at first tells her son that she can not go inside the church he tells her yes she can so first her son walks inside the church and then his dad walks in last but last not least she then comes in strong and brave.

I was thinking to myself if J-Hud can walk into her church alone and by herself than I can walk into my church with my head held high. 

One Encouraging thing My Big Sister has said to me is That I am brave and that I can do it. I can walk into church even it’s by myself. I think I also have to believe in myself and know that I can walk into church even if I have to be myself.

Before I went off to school, I would say that they are going to hear me Roar 🦁 like a lion I think I have to get my Roar back and show myself that I am strong like a lioness and that I am Princess Emerald I am a brave Girl.

Jennifer Hudson is a very strong and gifted loving, kind, caring woman. She has been through a lot in her life, she still is walking by faith and holding on to God’s unchanging hand. She has a beautiful voice I know it touches God’s ears.

 I hope to meet her one day and tell her how much she has encouraged and inspired my life.  

She has come a long and magnificent way since American idol ! She is an EGOT Winner and has won other amazing awards, she also has a very good talk show that brightens a lot of peoples lives and hearts her show is a very happy place. 

One of my favorite scenes from the movie is When J-HUD drops her son off at the bus station, and she is singing a song about faith and how they both have to be strong for each other even through this hard situation they are going through. Everything will be alright in the end. 

The song 🎵 test of faith really speaks to my Heart 💜 because I feel like it fits with me and my situation that I’m going through right now.  The line that really speaks to me is when she sings In the Meantime I’ll be wishing on Stars 🌟 and mending my Heart.  

Little by little I know God is mending my Heart 💜 and making it better than it was before. Also I like it because my Grandfather would say keep the faith a lot. I’m going to keep the faith and let God keep mending my heart and healing my heart. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good strong Christmas movie.

Im in love with a Church Girl

 

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! I had a wonderful one, today I decided to write about a movie called I am in Love with a Church Girl! It stars Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Ja Rule.

It is a wonderful movie. It starts off with a character named Miles Montego, who is a drug dealer and has a wonderful family.

He goes to a party that his friend Nick Holston is hosting. Nick was a former drug dealer and God saved his life from that lifestyle. At the gathering that is where he meets Vanesa Leon, and they talk a little while and get to know each other.

They start dating and become boyfriend and girlfriend. Vanesa is a strong Church going Christian. God is very important to her and her life. 

She doesn't know that Miles leads a different life than her and that he is a drug dealer.Yet, there was a detective following Miles and he is a christian detective his name is Jason McDaniels.

 Miles was doing illegal things on the inside. As he was dating Vanesa he put on a different persona because Vanesa was a very humble girl. Vanesa still doesn't know yet about Miles being a fugitive and drug dealer. The detective Jason that was following them was unsure whether  Miles was a fugitive or not.

Miles takes Vanesa to the club to meet some of his friends. And his friends started telling stories about his drug dealing and he tried to change the subject a couple of times. His friends kept going and he noticed that Vanesa was getting uncomfortable and not liking the stories.

 So he got up and pretended like he was going to buy his friends drinks. He told them quietly to tone it down because his girlfriends around.After the club they went out to a restaurant and ordered a couple of drinks and sat and talked.While they were talking that is when Miles tells Vanesa about his double life and what his line of work is. Vanesa is ok with him having a double life because she says God loves any and everybody.

 His love is growing stronger toward Vanesa because she didn't worry about his lifestyle.She told him that he would have to come to church with her if their relationship was going to work and stay strong like it has been.

Miles does go to church with her and he likes what he sees in the church. And what catches his eyes is Pastor Galley, he doesn't dress like a normal pastor and he wears jeans and a fitted cap. 

The pastor is the writer of the movie Galley Molina. Before going to church with Vanesa, Miles thought he would not fit into the christian world. Galley talks to Miles after the service is over and tells him it doesn't matter about your past,  God can use you to share the gospel as well. Eventually he started going to church regularly and started slowly becoming distant from his friends. 

Miles and Vanesa's relationship becomes a little strained later in the movie. His mom is dealing with some health issues and you will see that in the movie. 

The movie has a very happy ending for everyone. And Miles and Vanesa have a very happy and strong ending. It will put a smile on your face and make you feel warm inside.  

I decided to write about this movie because I am also a church girl and church is also very important to me. I have a wonderful church family, they are wonderful and amazing and most of them have known me since I was a baby and before I was born. 

My mom says that I was born in the church.The Pastor and First Lady of my church is absolutely fantastic, there hearts are really on fire for God. You can really feel God inside them and outside of them!

My church is Dayspring Ministries and it is located In Middletown Pa. Whenever you have a chance you should visit, I think you would love it! 

DaySpring is having a special christmas production on December 17th. It is called "Casting Call What Role do you play in the Greatest Story Ever Told?" Dayspring is very friendly, loving, and  caring.They will make you feel welcomed and right at home! 

One of my favorite things about Dayspring is the fellowship.  I love talking with everyone and giving them a big happy smile! And  something that brings a big smile to my face is seeing one of my favorite people in the whole world who is also my big sister! She brings a lot of joy to my heart.  I love her dearly she is my best friend there! 

The services starts at 10:00 am, and they have a very nice coffee stand and good food! Dayspring is a very easy church to find. They have their own Facebook page, you can just type in Dayspring Ministries in the search bar. I believe there is also a website, you can find it on youtube You just have to type in Dayspring Ministries and it will pop right up for you! There is a new thing going on at the Spring!

I also wrote this because I am a big fan of Adrienne Bailon Houghton. She is a big part of my childhood and  I loved watching her on Thats so Raven! 

She played the character Alana and she did an amazing job with that role. She really made her character that she was playing come to life! She also played the school principal on Raven's Home. She did an amazing job with that role too! And I also loved her in Cheetah Girls . Chanel was and always will be my favorite cheetah girl and character. 

I love the way she sings, she sounds like a beautiful Angel from Heaven! She did an outstanding job on the Masked Singer. She was a gorgeous flamingo and my favorite song she sang on the show was the song  "Never Enough."She put her whole heart and spirit in that song! Her and Isreal make a beautiful couple.I believe they bring out the best in one another and love each other very much.  They have a beautiful baby boy named Ever James, he is so adorable and has the most beautiful smile! 

You can tell how much Ever adores his mom and dad when you see the videos and pictures of them together.

He loves all of his family! And I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful and amazing Adrienne in Maryland, at Bridgeway Community Church.  She and her husband Isreal were singing the Goodness of God! They did a beautiful Job on that song! 

You can really feel God's love pouring out of them and their hearts!  She did an amazing job with this role! I believe you will love this movie once you watch it. It will really pull at your Heart-Strings!

Instant Family

Hey Everyone. I hope you all are having a wonderful week, Thanksgiving is coming that’s exciting! I have decided to write about a family Movie It’s called Instant Family, it’s a good movie.

 It Stars Mark Wahlberg , Rose Byrne, Isabela Marced , Octavia Spencer, Gustavo Escobar,  Julianna Gomez, a whole amazing cast. 

The movie starts off with Husband Pete and his wife Ellie Wagner who are visited by some relatives who thin they will never have kids or a family of their own, they consider adoption.

They enroll In foster care and work with some social workers named Karon and Sharon, they go to a fair to meet some children , Ellie is a little reluctant to adopt a teen she is impressed by the young teen named Lizzie, and she is 15 years old .

She has two younger siblings named Juan who is ten years old and a six year old little sister named Lita, the social worker reveals their mother is a drug addict who is in prison.

They share with Pete and Ellie if they want Juan and Lita they have to adopt Lizzie too so the siblings can stay together and not be separated from each other, they have a meeting with all of the kids and they don’t Immediately connect making them rethink if they should adopt the kids.

They have a thanksgiving dinner with their relatives and share with the family they are not going to adopt the family then says they knew it wouldn’t work out, that is when they officially decide to adopt the kids and become a family.

The kids move in with them and at first there is a lot of craziness as soon as they move in the house,  Lita will only eat potato chips, Juan is very emotional and fragile, Lizzie resents her foster parents for trying to parent them.

They decide to go to a support parent foster group and share with them all what is going in on in their new family, Petes mom Sandy comes to visit and she wins the kids over by taking them to six flags.

Lizzie disappears with her friends and ends up getting grounded by Pete, the next day Pete and Ellie Confront Lizzie about running off with her friends again, and her little brother Juan accidentally shoots a nail in his foot and has to go to the emergency room, seeing how fast Ellie and Pete Took immediate attention to Juan and Comforted Lita made Lizzie starts warning up to them.

Lizzie helps Pete demolish the kitchen she is remodeling and it helps let out some of her frustrations, Later at a football game, Pete fixes Litas doll and she says thank you Daddy, then it is bedtime and Juan is having a nightmare. Ellie and Juan check on him and after he is calmed down he says Goodnight mommy and makes Ellie Smile.

The movie has a lot more twists and turns and a few dramatic scenes, a few funny scenes and a few heart warming moments a couple of surprise moments, there is a happy ending for everyone at the end of the movie. 

I decided to write about this movie because I am a big family person and adore my family, I believe everyone deserves to be loved and have some kind of family or someone that makes them happy and feel loved, encouraged , supported. 

I can count on my family for anything, there always there for me and always there to support me and encourage me and love and also care for me. 

I stay in touch with a lot of my family members because they mean a lot to me and it’s always a joy to hear from them and to know how they are doing, this movie shows a lot of love and caring and shows how caring loving kind a family is.

 I have my family which I love and my church family who is also amazing and some of them have known me since a baby and always have been a part of my life, I have a big sister that I adore, and amazing friends. And a family that prays together stays together.

Whenever I’m visiting one of my family members before we depart we always pray together and tell each other we love each other and will see each other again soon! Family will always love you and be there for you whenever you need them.

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movie.

Hey Everyone! I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Cheaper by the Dozen starring Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Alyson Stoner, Hillary Duff, Tom Welling and Piper Perabo. 

It is a good family movie that will make you laugh, possibly cry it will give you happy and warm feelings inside while you are watching and it when its finished.  

The movie starts off with Tom he is a college football coach in Midland Indiana, where he and his wife Kate are raising twelve kids, thats a lot of kids isn't it? 

Kate is a book Writer/Author she has written her story in her book she is sending it to her friend hoping she can publish her book for her. 

One day Tom receives some exciting and surprising news he unexpectedly receives some news from  his old friend and football teammate Shake McGuire to coach at his Alma Mater at his hometown Evanston Illinois, Guess what?

 Tom accepts the offer and he wants his kids to vote on moving to Illinois, Tom lost the vote on the move, he has his whole family move to Evanston for a better home and space,while they are getting adjusted to the new are things at home are tense and the situation at their new school is even worse.

Kate's book is ready to be picked up for publication, Kate has to do a national book tour to promote her book so people can buy her book and read it.

Tom tells Kate that he can handle things in the house hold while she is away, Since Tom has received a new job he hasn't been home as much Kate has been the one at home while he has been away working at the football field with the football players.

 Kate tells him that he has to make sure the kids are ready for their first day at their new school and to make sure they are fed and everything,

Tom's way of handling everything with the kids and the house is he hires his oldest daughter Nora and her boyfriend Hank to manage the kids and everything in the house. 

Hank and Nora arrive at the house, The Kids like Nora they don't like Hank they make a prank on Hank and they soak his underwear in Meat they know their Dog Gunner loves meat, Gunner attacks his buttocks to get to the meat because of that situation Hank refuses to babysit Nora's siblings with her,they leave her parent's house and Tom lectures them about the incident with Hank.

Kate has departed for her book tour Tom realizes he cannot handle the kids all alone, after a crazy night that happened at their house Tom tries to hire a housekeeper to help him no-one wants to work with him because of the amount of kids he has he decides to bring his work home with him he brings the whole football team to his house.

While that seems to be going ok, the kids start getting into trouble at school and Charlie has been removed from the football team.

Kate's children call her and tell her about all the chaos that has been going on while she has been away once she hears everything she decides the book tour is over for her and she is going home.

 Kate's publisher for the book decides to create an additional promotion for the book she wants Oprah Winfrey to do a segment about the bakers in their home instead.  The rest of the movie is really good and heart-felt there is a couple dramatic scenes that happen in the movie and will possibly leave you on the edge of your seat when you watch it is a very happy ending and everyone is happy!

I decided to write about this movie because I love family movies, And I also have a big and loving family that really cares for me and loves me and encourages me and supports me, they are always there for me whenever I need them I love my family with my whole Heart! 

One of my favorite things about the movie is you see how much Love is in the family! One of my favorite Verses is love is patient, Love is Kind! 

These three remain Faith, Hope and love the greatest of these is love! And I have a very loving and caring family, I feel the love from all of them in deep in my Heart! 

For example, I have a cousin who means the world to me his name is Devin anyone who knows me knows how much I love him, I haven't talked with him in a while and I have been missing his voice, while I was walking my beloved boy Elijah I decided to call him and to my amazement I got to hear his voice and talk with him, it made my heart so happy because I had going through a lot recently and hearing his voice made me so happy, before he hang up he said he loved me! 

Always remember to say I love you whenever you can because life is short, and you always want to remember that the last thing you to said someone is I love you! Or something that expresses love because it will make you feel good knowing that you did that and that the person knows that you and love and care for them and that they mean a lot to you! I believe I have a very loving heart and I am very emotion driven which means when I Love I love hard! And I am very passionate about people closet to me and the things I put my energy into!

Another thing I Have to say about family is I have always wanted a big Sister ever since I can remember because Sisters always have fun together, and  have different moments and experiences together they can always remember and hold dear. 

Sisters are always there for you, and love you dearly! I also believe a good sister will help you get back on track when you are getting off the track a little and because they deeply love and care about you they will tell you the truth even when it hurts you know inside it is coming from a good place!  I think its better to have someone who loves and cares for you and will tell you hard truths to help you out because they want the best for you, and because they care about you deeply and the relationship they have with you! 

Rather than someone who acts like they care about you and pretend they want the best for you, and if something is bothering them in the friendship they have with you and never tell you what it is you assume everything is fine when really it is not, and they decide to stop talking to you one day and all communication with you, and you end up confused and hurt because you don't even know what happened. 

Where a real friend will tell you what the problem is and you guys can talk about the situation and move on from there and the relationship will become bigger and stronger because you talked out the situation together and working on the situation together! 

Like You will see how Hillary's Duff's Character Lorraine and Alyson's stones character Sarah interact they don't always get along, they get into little arguments here and there you will see they still care about each other and have each other's back and know they can depend on each other when they need each other.

 I know that I can depend on my big Sister Adrian to be there for me when I need her because she encourages me and loves and cares for me and is a very good friend and big sister!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to have a good laugh !

Akeelah and the bee

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well, and having a wonderful week! I have decided to write about Akeelah and the bee today.

It stars Keke Palmer Laurence fishbone  Angela Bassett and  a whole cast of amazing Actors and Actresses, It is also a wonderful Story, light-hearted relatable and a fun movie to watch with family or friends. 

The story starts out with Akeelah who is elven years old she is a spelling enthusiast attends Crenshaw Middle School, a predominately black school in south Los Angeles. 

She lives with her widowed mother who is named Tanya and her three older siblings Kiana, Devon and Terrance and her baby niece Makayla. 

One day her principal Mr. Welch suggests that she signs up for the Crenshaw School Wide spelling bee she initially says no, she is then threatened with detention if she doesn't go for the remainder of the semester because she has skipped school numerous times.  

She enters the spelling bee and wins. Dr.Joshua Larabee who is visiting and is an English professor watched the Crenshaw School Wide Spelling bee gave Akeelah challenging words after she just won the bee he decides she is good enough to enter the Scripps National Spelling Bee. 

Akeelah is looking for a coach he says no and declines her because he was rude to her when she came to his house and asked him to be her spelling coach, because of that Akeelah studies on her own to prepare for the district spelling bee during the bee she misspelled a word during the last round of the bee.

Thankfully she gets another to qualify for the regional bee after her sister Kiana catches one of the other finalists cheating,Akeelah meets and befriends another contestant who is in the bee his name is Javier Mendez a twelve year old Mexican-American Boy and fellow speller, he invites her to join the spelling club at his middle school in woodland hills while she is there she meets another contestant his name is Dylan Chui he won second place at the past two national spelling bees and is in his final year of eligibility.

 Akeelah misspells another word Dylan tells her she needs a coach. After the bee Javier invites Akeelah to a party while her mom Tonya is saddened by her brother Terrence's behavior, Akeelah's grades and frequent truancy, her husbands death at the hands of a mugger five years prior. Guess what? Her mom finds out about her spelling she doesn't allow Akeelah to go to the regional bee she makes her attend summer school for the classes she has missed.

 Akeelah does something to prevent this prohibition she forges her father's signature and secretly studies with Dr.Larabee . Akeelah is at another party with Javier and she is playing Scrabble Dylan is at the party too she was playing against him and won the game later during the party she hears Dylan's father berating him and yelling at him because he got beat by a girl.

It is now time for the bee her mom Tonya finds out her being there and interrupts her before she can spell her word. She chastises Akeelah for coming to the bee without her permission she relents after a talk with her spelling coach and her principal.

Javiar Stalls the judges so they can't remove Akeelah from the competition, Dylan, Javiar , Akeelah all advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. I don't want to give any spoilers away the rest of the movie is very powerful and uplifting it has a happy ending for everyone in the story. It has a few dramatic scenes and very moving scenes that will touch your heart and spirit the whole cast does an outstanding job in the movie. 

I decided to write about this movie today because it is very inspirational and very encouraging, Keke Palmer does an outstanding job in this movie, you really feel like she is the live character that she is playing in the movie.

Also seeing how she loves to spell and really excels, It makes me think of singing and how much I love to sing Like Akeelah  put her mind and heart into her spelling, I know that I can put my mind and heart into my singing and achieve my dreams like Akeelah achieved her dreams and became an amazing and excellent Speller. She also had a lot of encouraging family and friends in her life and corner and people who believed her and knew that she could excel and could do big and amazing things when she put her mind and her self into it.

My favorite Scene from the movie is where she is spelling a word and she spells some of the word at first and is having a little trouble remembering how to spell the rest she then remembers a technique she uses to help her remember how to spell tough words she jumps rope to get her mind jogging on the word, she lifts up her hands and pretends she has a jump rope and starts moving her hands in a jump position and then starts spelling the word the judges gave her and she gets it correct and everyone cheers for her and is so happy for her.

 I also like the part where her mom tells her she has 50,000 coaches to help her with studying her spelling words on the cards and preparing for the bee, I feel like I have 50,0000 coaches and people in my life too they are also there to help me and encourage me support me, and give me talks whenever I need one because they care about me. 

Keke Palmer is one of my favorite actresses, I love her personality and her singing voice, she is also an amazing actress I enjoy her movies in one of her movies her character is named Emerald that blew my mind I was like WOW! She is so caring and kind  and very sweet and a wonderful mother you can tell how much she loves her son Leo. 

 I really enjoyed her performance of Cinderella in New York City, She was an amazing and Beautiful Cinderella that was my first time seeing her in person and live I enjoyed the play so much! Sherri Shephard also did an amazing job playing the stepmother, she made me laugh a lot when she was acting in the play. The whole cast did an amazing job and gave an excellent performance I loved the finale of the play when everyone came out and Sang the Audience sang along they sang Impossible everyone was clapping along to the song when everyone was taking their bows and Keke was singing and dancing along to the song and waving to everyone that put a smile on my face , that is a night I will always remember!

I like Angela Bassett too, she is also a very strong Actress and portrays every character in the movies she is in with all her heart, you can feel the character come to life like when she played Queen Romanda in the Black Panther she did an outstanding job you really felt like she was the real queen of Wakanda.  She put her heart and soul into it, like she put her heart into the role of Tina Turner you felt all her passion and energy in the role of Tina throughout the whole movie.

She also did an outstanding job of playing Rosa Parks. I also liked her in Jump the Broom, she is in a lot of good and wonderful movies! She did  an amazing job with this role! 

Laurence Fishburne does an excellent job in the movie, he is an excellent coach and teacher you can see how much he cares about Akeelah and how he wants to see her succeed in life and see how strong she is and what an amazing speller she is. He is in a lot of movies too, His character Pops in Blackish makes me laugh a lot. He seemed to enjoy playing that character in the show. The Cast of Black-ish is a really good and strong Cast you can tell they all really care about each other and love each other. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good family movie!

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

Hey Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

 I have decided to write about a Martin Lawrence Comedy movie , It stars Martin Lawrence and Monique Cedric the Entertainer, James Earl Jones, Micheal Clarke, Nicole Ari Parker. 

The Movie starts off with Roscoe J Stephens who is a talk- show host,he has a lot of adoring fans and is engaged to Survior Winner Bianca Kittles. 

Roscoe and his family are getting ready to back to southern roots to celebrate his Parents 50th Wedding which he was reluctant to going to, his ten year old son is very excited about the celebration and seeing his grandparents and family members he has not seen in a while! 

RJ wants to prove to his family, he has grown up and changed and not someone that they can pick on and make fun of anymore.

 They make it to Georgia and he is welcomed by one of his cousins named Reggie, he likes to pick pockets his girlfriend Amy came along with him, they accompany him to the family home where he greets his parents Roscoe Sr, Mama Jenkins and his brother Otis who is the town sheriff, he then sees his brother's wife Ruthie and their overgrown kids Junior and Callie, he then sees his sister Betty.

 Roscoe's Cousin Clyde then appears at the celebration they don't really get along, they are really competitive with each other and with seeing him again it sparks up the competitiveness in him, he is escorting his crush Lucinda, his past love interest you will see the story of that when you watch the movie.  

Roscoe has spent nine years away from his family, he wants to impress his family and friends with his newfound money and success he doesn't succeed at this point in time. 

While he is visiting with his family he has many different self-humiliations, while they are playing a game of softball he hits his mom in the head with a softball and it leaves a mark on her head, the thing that happens is he gets beat up by his big brother Otis and his sister Betty because he insults them. 

He faces a lot of blackmail by his cousin Reggie, and then he ruins the fish fry by getting into a physical fight with his cousin Clyde, because he got into a fight he has to sleep outside while he is outside he gets sprayed on by a skunk, later it becomes obvious he is still holding a grudge against his dad for showing favoritism treatment to his cousin Clyde rather than him when they were younger. 

His dad is disappointed in him because he changed his name and distances himself from the family, Bianca and the family aren't getting along well.

 Roscoe and his past crush Lucinda are getting reacquainted,It is now the official day of his parents anniversary and they have set up an Obstacle course  which is a condition, Roscoe races against Clyde while they are racing they hurt themselves and others.

 Roscoe begins to climb the wall, his son is having trouble he stops to help him, then Bianca tells him to leave his son and beat Clyde, he beats him to his parents amazement, they race to the finish line Roscoe Wins just like he did 20 years ago. 

As Bianca cheers Roscoe berates his family by telling them it is the team of him. The family is disappointed and Angry at Roscoe's arrogance, Jamal doesn't want to go anywhere near his father, Roscoe then yells at his at his dad he knows Clyde lost his father he doesn't understand why he had to lose his, he chastise him for always acknowledging Cldye's accomplishments and none of his successes that he has made.

His father is stunned and feels guilty about what Roscoe said knowing that he is the reason Roscoe left nine years ago. When you see the movie you will see what happens between Roscoe and his cousin Clyde and the rest of the family, I can assure you it is a happy ending.

I decided to write about this movie because it is a good family movie, and teaches about how to love and forgive family, even if they did something wrong or did something to make you upset they are always going to love you and be there for you whenever you need them to be. 

It reminds me of my family,they are always there for me and I know they will always love me.

One of my favorite scenes from the movie is When Roscoe returns to the celebration and everyone is surprised and happy to see him, he says a wonderful speech that is very heartwarming and it makes everyone happy and smile.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves comedy movies and loves to laugh!

Mrs. DoubtFire

 Good Afternoon everyone, I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far, I have decided to write about one of my favorite Robin Williams movies.

 Mrs. DoubtFire It always makes me laugh and smile, It stars Robin Williams, Sally Field, Matthew Lawrence, Lisa Jakub, Mara Wilson and Pierce Bronson. 

The Movie starts off With Robin's Williams Character Daniel Hillard  he is a freelance voice actor he lives in San Fransisco, he is a devoted and loving father to his three children 14 year old Lydia, 12 year old Christopher and 5 year old Natalie,(Nattie) for a nickname.

 His wife Miranda is a hard worker and loves her job she is obsessed with work she works as an Interior decorator she thinks Daniel is immature and unreliable.

 One day Daniel goes into work and he decides to quit his job because of a disagreement over a script for a tv show, when he leaves his job he throws a crazy  birthday party for his son and invites a lot of people and animals over to the party.

 Miranda told Daniel she didn't want Christ to have a birthday party because of his bad report card he ignored Miranda's objections and threw the party anyway.

Miranda comes home from work and sees all what is going on at her home, she gets so mad and upset that she tells Daniel she cant live like they are living anymore.

She wants a divorce, Daniel is heartbroken about the whole situation he honors Miranda's wishes on what she wants and they go to court, at their first custody hearing the Judge and court grant sole custody of the kids to Miranda and Daniel can have visitation rights every Saturday and that is due to him not having a job and being homeless.

 There is the possibility of shared custody that is continent on Daniel finding a job and a place to live within three months time. 

Daniel decides to focus and rebuild his life, he secures a new apartment and a job as a shipping clerk at a tv station after he is done with work his kids come to visit him and they have dinner together before they get a chance to finish Miranda shows up to pick them up to go home, while the kids are getting ready to leave he finds out from Miranda that she is looking for a House Keeper.  

She shows Daniel the form she is using to spread the word about her needing a housekeeper while Daniel has the form he makes a few changes to it, he calls Miranda and because he is a voice actor he uses different voices of undesirable applicants for the job, he makes the voices he uses sound terrible and bad because he doesn't want miranda to have the chance to hire a good house keeper yet. 

He finally brings out the big guns on the next voice because he knows the voice that he using now will be hired for the job. 

He says his name is Mrs.Euphegnia Doubtfire, she is and Elderly British Nanny with Strong Credentials, Miranda is very impressed, she is so impressed that she invites her over for an interview. Daniel asks his brother Frank who is a makeup Artist and his Frank's friend Jack to create a Mrs. Doubtfire Costume and a prosthetic face to make look like an older woman. 

Miranda likes her so much that she gets the job following the interview, the kids at first have a hard time with Mrs.Doubtfire they eventually get used to her and turn the corner their mom learns to become more easygoing  and close with her kids. 

Daniel starts to learn more household skills, as part of him keeping up his role as the nanny and he's starting to earn Miranda's respect, as things are starting to become good and happy a situation appears that has to do with him seeing his kids Miranda has put all her trust into Mrs.Doubtfire than Daniel and she isn't able to dismiss her. 

Miranda also has a new boyfriend his name is Stuart and Daniel is jealous of him because he is getting close to his family and kids. 

When you watch the movie you will find out how Lydia and Chris find Out Mrs.Doubtfire is their dad, there are a few more surprising twists and turns that happen in the movie, I do not want to spoil it by giving you all the information that happens.  I can tell you that is a happy ending and everyone is happy! 

 I decided to write about this movie because I have always loved this movie and Robin Williams is one of my favorite actors, he always leaves me with a smile on my face and makes me laugh a lot. 

When you watch the movie, you feel like Mrs.Doubtfire is a real person and someone that you can have fun with and connect with , someone that you would love to have as a nanny and friend. 

He puts his whole-self into Mrs. DoubtFire and brings her to life.

 I watched the movie a few times when I was a kid, and it always was an enjoyable and happy time for me. 

And it warmed my heart a lot, the whole story is wonderful and the actors who are in the movie portray their characters so well, you can feel within yourself all the emotions they are feeling in the movie. 

My favorite Scene from the movie is, I like a few scenes from the movie, one of my favorite scenes is when Daniel gets found out after he saves stuart from choking, Miranda starts freaking out, and she keeps repeating his name and doesn't know what to do with herself. 

I also like the scene where Daniel is making Tea for someone that visits his house, and his mask gets run over by a car, he has to find a new face to put on, he doesn't have a lot of time to find a face so he puts his face in a cake and there is icing covering his whole face, and when the person who is visiting him comes into the kitchen and says his name, he says Hello ! 

And she is surprised because she wasn't expecting to see his face looking like that, he explains why his face looks like that and tells her that the person she is expecting to see will be out shortly to talk to her.  

The whole movie will leave you on the edge of your seat and will keep you happy!
