Parental Guidance

Hey Everyone! 

I hope you all are having a wonderful week I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal, Bette Middler, Marisa Tomei, Bailee Madison and a whole wonderful Cast of people.

 The Movie starts off with a man named Artie Decker a sports Commentator for the minor league Fresno Grizzlies is unfortunately fired due to his old- fashioned personality and his lack of being social media savvy.

He tells his wife Diane the news about his firing from his job, then they get a call from their daughter Alice and son -in -law Phil to come to Atlanta to babysit their kids, three children Harper, Turner, and Barker while they attend an Entrepreneur convention in Hilton Head South Carolina.

 When they arrive in Atlanta problems start to Arise as Artie and Diane's laidback personalities collide with Phil and Alice's helicopter parenting... Alice and Phil tell Artie and Diane their kids various things they are dealing with at the current moment.

 Harper has high achievement syndrome, Turner has a stutter, and Barker has an imaginary friend Carl the Kangaroo, Artie and Diane do their best to bond with them.

As soon as they arrive at the house everyone is happy to see them they come bearing gifts for everyone, they give them bobble heads and water guns, later in the evening they go out to dinner at a fictional Chinese restaurant called the Healthy Tiger, Barker calls Artie Fartie, then Artie decides to show Barker the proper way to eat Chinese food which is mix everything together, that makes Barker mad, then he calls Artie Evil Fartie which ends the whole night in chaos.

Then it is time for Alice and Phil to head out for their trip, Alice returns home early when her boss gives her a assignment to redesign the website for the X Games.

Artie uses this to his advantage and arranges a interview for the role of sports Commentator, in a attempt to win the hearts of his Grandkids, he breaks several of the rules Alice has set for them which is not to eat sugary foods and not watch Horror movies.

 Alice is horrified at the situation her mom Diane convinces her that she and Artie will never be good grandparents if she doesn't give them a chance, Alice decides to give them a chance and she goes to back to Phil in Hilton Head.

  I have decided to write about this movie because It talks about family, and how family communicate with each other and can learn different things from each other and how parents have different parenting styles which is ok, everyone parents different than someone who is parenting.

Open communication is a good thing to have in a family because if communication is open then that means you become closer as a family and can learn more about each other and be able to trust each other more than before because you have been openly communicating.

I recently went to a family, and I absolutely love my family and love spending time with them.. I saw at my family reunion that there were different generations of family members, there was the young generation and the wise and venerable and seasoned people.. I enjoy talking and seeing a lot of my seasoned family members because they make me feel so loved and happy, because for example I have a cousin who's a little seasoned, he is very wise and smart and doesn't even look the age that he is with being seasoned in my head I know he's more advanced in age than me.

 I see him as a young seasoned person because of how fun, and friendly and happy he is! He always gives me a big happy smile every time I see him and makes me feel happy inside and outside !

 I also have a couple other cousins that I love and enjoy and they love on me a lot and also make me feel so special and loved, I am so happy to have them as my cousins, and to know that they will always be there for me when I need them.

 I have an amazing and wonderful family and I am so happy to know that they are always in my corner and have someone to cheer me on and encourage me and support me in my journey of life! 

Cherish the moments you have with your family, and take photos and talk with them while you can, and give them big hugs and tell them how much you love them and spending time with them that will be music to their ears, and talk with your more advanced cousins or family members and learn about your family history.

I am sure they have wonderful and amazing stories of your family members and would love to share with you then they can pass the stories down to their kids! And pictures are good because you can look back and see all the memories and happy moments spent together! 

Personally whenever I visit my family, afterwards it is so HARD for me to say goodbye because I LOVE my family deeply and the time spent with them, I give them all hugs and I text a lot of my family members and I created a group chat so we can all stay in touch with one another and talk.

 I will tell you this if you ask any one in my family, If I stay in touch with them and text them they will tell you yes she does 100 percent stay in touch and text my phone Family is forever, they will always love you and enjoy you and every moment with you! I can guarantee you that! 

 There are times when I miss my family a lot and think about them at different times especially when I get a lot of loving from them when I see them,  and when I miss them I think about those moments when they are loving on me and their happy smiles and I feel much better or when I hear their voices on the telephone my heart will skip a beat because of all of the love in my heart for them!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Artie and Diane first arrive to babysit their grandkids and the different situations they get into…. Even in the midst of the situations they go through they come closer together!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movies !

Life Size

Hey Everyone!

 I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Tomorrow is a happy day, It is my Dog's Elijahs Birthday,  He will be turning fifteen years old! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies starring Lindsay Lohan, Tyra Banks and a whole wonderful cast of people! 

The movie starts off with a girl named Casey Stuart who is a tomboyish girl who plays the Quarterback on her 7th Grade football team, since her mother passed away two years ago.

 She has been arguing with a boy on her team and avoiding her old friends, later Casey goes to a book store and finds a book called "The Book of Awakenings" at Past Pages Bookstore which is a local Bookstore.

The books contain a section which says you can bring someone back from the dead and a successful resurrection will become permanent unless it is done before Sunset on the fourth day after it begins, however since the book was expensive, she left all the money she had on  shelf in a glass compartment which is where the book was.

 Casey wants to bring her mother back to life, she follows the books instructions, Casey collects artifacts from her mother's life including locks of her hair in her mother's hairbrush, however the resurrection is unwittingly sabotaged when Drew McDonald a woman who works with and is romantically interested in Casey's widowed father.

Ben gives Casey Eve a plastic fashion doll in the form of a pretty young woman manufactured by Marathon Toys, It includes many accessories and she is from Sunnyvale "the middle of America".

As Casey is preparing to bring her mother back to life, Drew stops by to give Casey a Mall Shopping Eve Doll for her birthday and she uses Casey's brush to brush Eve's hair with strands from Eve's hair in the brush as Casey recites the incantation the magic acts on her doll rather than her mother.

 Casey wakes up the next morning to find Eve in bed with her in full size human form, Casey is upset About her doll being a real human.

 Eve is excited about being a real Woman, over the next few days Eve buys clothes at the local shopping Mall since she changed out of her red and orange shopping outfit.

She uses her police training to stop a truck that almost runs Casey over she smells and eats for the first time, tries and fails to do secretary work, she also sings her theme song at a corporate event during a dance with Ben, and almost sets the Stuart's kitchen on fire.

 She also helps Casey Cope with the loss of her mother, meanwhile she learns she needs the second volume of the magic book to reverse Eve's Spell. 

During this time tension builds between Casey and her father who has been missing her football games while trying to secure a promotion in his law firm.

Eve helps turn people into a better version of themselves especially Ellen Ben's coworker, somewhere along the way Eve and Casey gradually become friends, Eve displays Insight and sensitivity in talking with Casey about her mother and she talks with Casey about her self-confidence.

In Exchange Casey gives tips to Eve on how to be a good role model and a popular doll, By the time the second volume of the Magic Book arrives at the local Bookstore.

Casey has decided she likes Eve, she doesn't buy the book, unfortunately Eve has been getting homesick and becomes aware that her doll collection has taken a tumble in sales.

Eve is discouraged by her difficulties in being a real woman and being cancelled by Marathon, Eve decides to undo the spell herself. 

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out What happens next with Casey and Eve and the rest of the family it is a happy ending for everyone! 

I decided to write about this movie because it is a happy childhood movie for me,  I really enjoy the story and all the scenery! 

And I am a fan of Lindsay Lohan, She is a happy part of my childhood and I enjoy a lot of her movies! Her movies always put a smile on my face and make me happy! One of my favorite movies with her is Herbie, I enjoy that movie a lot! Whenever you have a free moment check that movie out you will really enjoy it! 

And Linsday and Tyra really put their whole heart and spirit into their characters and bring them to life and makes you think they are actually the characters they are playing are real in real life.

It is a really wonderful movie and really grabs at your heart strings, and will have you smiling and laughing throughout  the whole movie!

 It is ok not be perfect, As Hannah Montana Sings Nobody's perfect, Just be yourself and Those who care about you and love you will love that you are just being your because you are loving, and kind and caring and a enjoyable person to be around! 

And they will be happy to know that they can be themselves around you and not have to put a front and be perfectly happy and excited! 

And remember to always treasure and cherish your relationships because those are good to have, because they will always hold you near and dear and it will make you happy to know that you have someone in your life that you can heart and most deep and treasured secrets and know that they will hold you close to their hearts!

My favorite scene from the movie is when she gets her first Job as a real Woman, and the whole scene of her first day at her new job at the office is so funny it will make you laugh right away! And I also love the scene where Eve sings her theme song, It is a really fun song and will get you up and moving!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to a happy and good movie !

Bewitched

 

Hey Everyone!

 I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

 I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Starring Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell and Kristin Chenoweth, Shirley Mclaine and Steve Carell and a whole wonderful cast of people! 

The movie starts off with Jack Wyatt who is a narcissistic actor and he is approached to play Darrin in the remake show of Bewitched, he insists that an unknown person plays Samantha.

 Isabel Bigelow she is an actual Witch she decides she wants to move to Los Angeles and be normal and make new friends she becomes friends with someone named Maria.

She goes to the book store to learn how to get a job after seeing an advertisement of Ed McMahon on television.

Jack happens to be at the same bookstore that Samantha is at, he just came back from seeing failed Samantha auditions.

Jack spots Isabel and persuades her to audition for the show, at the same time Samanthas Intrusive father Nigel continues to appear while she is trying to settle in her new life, he is trying to convince her to come home with him.

Isabel impresses the show producers and writers Jack convinces her to join the show, also joining the show is legendary actress Iris Symthson as Endora, after a successful taping of the pilot,Isabel happens to overhear a conversation between Jack and his Agent Ritchie about how they tricked Isabel into appearing without having any lines.

Isabel is furious she storms off with Maria and her new neighbor friend Nina, she sees she has three choices, quit, get mad, or live with it.

Instead Isabel's Aunt Clara visits her and aids her into doing a love spell on Jack, at the same time Nigel is introduced to Clara and is infatuated with her, the spell works and he becomes lovestruck with Isabel, insisting on several script changes to give her some dialogue and jokes, ignoring statements from test groups preferring Isabel over him,.

Jacks affection for Isabel grows and he asks her out on a date and she forgets about the spell, he brings her home and then she remembers the spell and reverses it back to when she and Aunt Clara cast it.

The next day the events the hex presented Jack is outraged by the scores he received and he takes it out on Isabel who lashes back at him and Ritchie fires her and she storms off, rather than be angry at Isabel Jack is completely fascinated and in awe of Isabel, and he chases after her accepting all her comments, after another taping with Isabel "having dialogue" .

Their romance blossoms, then a big surprise happens Jack's wife Sheila shows up and Is determined to Woo Jack and have him to herself.

 Isabel sees this and casts a spell on Sheila to cause her to sign the divorce papers and having her decide to move to Iceland, Jack is so excited he tells everyone that he is throwing a party to celebrate his divorce at his house, At the Party Jack makes a toast saying the truth will be revealed to everyone.

 Isabel decides to tell jack that she is a real witch, he doesn't believe her at first he thinks she's a beginner magician, Jack finally believes she is telling the truth when she levitates him with her broom. 

He becomes frightened and scared and tells her to go away with a stick he shoos her off, Isabel is heartbroken and offended by his actions you will have to see the movie to find out what happens next... It is a happy ending  for everyone.

 I decided to write about this movie because It is a movie I enjoy, and It has a special meaning for me... One of my favorite Parts in the movie is when She wiggles her nose, and it sounds like a Jingle! 

It is special to me because I have it as a special ringtone for one of my besties who is my heart and means a lot to me!

 Every time I hear the sound of her nose twitching it makes me so excited and happy because I know it's my big sister sending me a message!

 Another reason why this movie is special to me is because My mom and my Aunt Sonya loved watching the Tv Show Bewitched when it came on television, whenever I watch an episode I think to myself this is a show my mom and Aunt and Grandmother and I think also my Uncle watched growing up, Another old Tv show I really love and enjoy Is I love Lucy I was watching it one day in Texas and my Uncle says to my mom your making her watch this?

 She said no she loves Lucy all on her own! My mom and Aunt loved watching that show too! Whenever you have a free moment catch up on your favorite shows that you enjoy and love, I bet you will get a kick out of it and be glad that you watched it! I also love Full House, I love the family aspect of the show how they are all close and help each other and lift each other up and encourage each other and just love on each other! It makes me think about my family and how close I am with them!

My favorite scene from the movie is When Jack and Samantha first meet, they have like an instant attraction to each other and he tells her that she will be the perfect Person to Play Samantha.

She wiggles her nose for him and he becomes astonished and excited and tells her to wiggle her nose to other people and the crowd keeps growing and growing and they all love it! 

Always remember to Embrace your true self, It is important to be the real you, and never change who you are for anyone, if someone tries to change who you are they aren't being really good friends, Real friends will love you for who you are, not what they think you should be and what you have to offer!

 I really appreciate and adore all my friends!

 I am so grateful for them and all they have done for me! I have a wonderful Crew and I know they will be there for me whenever I need them Friends are good to have in your corner!

 And it's always good to be Honest, because if you aren't honest in the beginning and continue on with your story telling to make up for the last story you told it will turn into one big snowball full of Stories, and you will be dissatisfied with yourself because you weren't being honest in the beginning! 

Honesty is the best Policy! I think it's better to be truthful because when you are truthful about something you will be appreciated more and people will believe you because they know you are honest and not trying to hide anything. 

If you are dishonest and continue to be, It's most likely People won't believe you because you have told so many stories, and it could be a time when you actually need help and because you cried Wolf so many times no one will be there to help you! Be Honest!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a fun good film!

The Starling

 Hey Everyone.

 I hope you have a wonderful Weekend! 

I have decided to write about a movie called The Starling starring Melissa Mccarthy, Kevin Kline, Kimberly Quinn, Laura Harrier and a whole wonderful cast of people.

The movie starts off with a lovely couple named Jack and Lilly Maynard who are painting an outdoor mural on their daughter's Infant Katie's bedroom wall while she is contentedly watching them.

A couple months later Jack and Lilly are grieving their daughter Katie she passed away from SIDS, Jack is residing in a mental hospital, while Lilly is working as a supermarket assistant manager grieving by herself.

 After Lillys visit at the facility which doesn't go very well unfortunately along with the group session the counselor follows her out to her car, she feels she is putting Jack's grief above her own and she isn't taking care of her own grief, she suggests to Lilly that she sees someone for her own mental health.

 She is trying to stay strong for Jack's return in addition to work, Lilly works on their family property, she tackles the unkempt yard and garden under the sprawling tree by the house, as she works a starling nesting in the tree attacks her.

Meanwhile back at the facility Jack secretly cheeks his medication and is not cooperative in his personal sessions, he complains about Lilly's regular visits, and is not appreciative of the snacks she always brings, or the two hour drive she takes weekly to see him.

She has been avoiding Katie's room since her death, she finally enters the room, she methodically empties the room of furniture and baby clothes, then does the same in the living room, A young expectant couple comes by and is eyeing the crib.

Lilly trades everything for the recliner, after organizing her home, she goes to see Doctor Larry Fine, the recommend quirky Psychiatrist-turned- Veterinarian, in the beginning he is hesitant to help.

 He decides to listen to Lilly's story while he is giving a dog a special kind of surgery.

Katie's death was a year ago and Jack is having a hard time handling it, she mentions the furniture purging to Larry, he questions if She is managing it well, and he tells her again that Lilly would be better off seeking another therapist, he is available if she needs to see a vet.

 In the facility they are using Potter's wheels, Jack is triggered by coming upon remnants from a children's classroom while seeking a tool in the corner, he leaves abruptly.

Another Starling attacks happens Lilly has Dr. Larry treat her wounds, they form a unique unlikely bond as they help each other acknowledge and confront their problems.

 He helps her with the Bird while embedding ways to help her grieve her daughter Katie's passing in their conversations of passing, Jack periodically calls without speaking.

Lilly monogues at her uncommunicative husband about what she's been doing, until she mentions Katie in passing so he hangs up upset, the obsessed Lilly is talked into poisoning a bird feeder to exterminate the starling, she is reminded other birds might pass away.

She hurries home to find a bird that has passed away, she remorsefully buries it taking down the feeder, Jack continues to be uncooperative in private sessions admitting he feels lost unable to snap out of it.

 Lilly has another run in with the bird and she puts on a football helmet to protect her head, she talks to it and then it flies off, finding Katie's sock an upset Lilly walks to Larry's place in the rain, it is filled with an array of creatures.

There she reveals she thwarted Jack's plan of hurting himself badly by carbon monoxide in the garage, he was committed, then Larry tells her that she is blaming herself and that she needs to talk to jack, Lilly becomes attached to the bird, she almost nearly hurts it with a stone, she asks Larry to help her revive it, nursing it back to health, when the bird recovers she lets it go, she and the bird start to tolerate each other instead of abuse each other.

You will have to see the rest of the movie to find out what happens next, I decided to write about this movie because I have dealt with a few moments of grief in my life, and they were all very hard moments grieving is a very hard thing to do especially when its someone you love and care about very much, I have lost a few family members and most recently a cousin we shared the same birthday, he was a wonderful cousin and always put a smile on my face and he could always make me smile and laugh! 

One of the hard things about grieving is when someone asks how are you doing? 

And you say you are fine or that you are doing fine, when really you are not fine, and really upset and devastated at the whole situation, you say you are fine because you really do not want to get into the whole scenario and re hash everything that has happened because it's really sad or really whatever happened in your situation that has caused you to grieve. 

And I had good friends and family check in with me when I lost a few of my family members, they all told me they got me and to call them or reach out whenever I needed them and I am really thankful for that! 

It is ok to tell someone that you are not ok, and to talk to them about what has been going on with you or while you are feeling the way you do because if they really Care about you they will sit with you, and help you in whatever you need help in and just listen to whatever is on your heart to say because they know you are going through it right now and need someone to be with you and stand by you in your time of need! 

Personally when I lost my cousin, I had good friends that talked with me and supported me and cared for me in my time of need because they knew I was hurting and needed someone to talk to at that point of time! 

Another passing that I had some grieving moments with was Micheal Jackson… I remember where I was too , I was at the karate studio and it played over the radio…I couldn’t believe it.. I love his music.. he really blessed the world and made an impact on the world! He started singing when he was 5 Years old! Fun fact about me , I love the number 5!!!

And he had an amazing and successful career in his fifty years of life! I also loved Whitney Houston, she was absolutely beautiful and had  such an elegant presence about her , and she touched many peoples hearts and lives in her time of life! 

I was sitting at the kitchen table when I heard of her passing…. I listened to her Music all night that night …. And I loved her in Cinderella to me she’s always be my fairy godmother! I also really loved Aretha Franklin, when I heard about her I was in the hallway Sitting on the stairs …. She also leaved an incredible impact and legacy on the world and made a lot of amazing music! 

I also really liked Betty white, and Cameron Boyce! Very kind and caring , incredible people! 

Even though they are gone physically, they are still here in spirit and in each person heart who they have touched when they were here physically! I also was saddened when Kobe Bryant passed away and Twitch because they were such kind and caring, loving generous, joyous men! I am happy I got to know them and learn about them before they left the world.. 

 It is ok to let your guard down with people you trust with your heart and it is ok to tell them that you are not doing fine at the moment, everyone has a tough day once in awhile.

Once they find someone to talk to or receive a kind word or encouragement from someone they begin to feel better, I encourage you to when life gives you lemons make lemonade and as Dory says Just Keep Swimming, or like the song from Cars Life is a highway I'm going to ride it all night Long!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Lilly and the starling first meet each other, and getting on each others nerves and then eventually they become friends!

 In the beginning they don't really know each other and they are going at each other's throats as they begin to know each other, they slowly stop annoying each other and start to become comfortable with each other and enjoy each other's company! 

Also I am a fan of Melissa Mccarthy, she is absolutely amazing and awesome!

 I enjoy a lot of her movies, she lights up every room she is she has an incredible kind and caring heart and a beautiful smile that can make anyone smile and whoever she is with at the present time! She is really sweet and kind, and just a fun person to be around! 

She can make you laugh and smile non-stop she is an absolute joy to be around! Every time I see one of her movies, It makes me feel Like I am in the movie with her and like the character that she is playing is an actual person in real life! I recommend you all to see this Movie, I think you will really enjoy It! It is ok not to be ok sometimes, you do not have to be in superhero mode all the time, try to take a minute sometimes and relax everything will be ok! 

And I put an encouraging and inspirational talk by Chrystal Evans Hurst she is the daughter of Dr. Tony Evans and Lois Evans, she’s an absolutely incredible and amazing woman and person and is amazing at what she does!

 I watched A DFJ conference this past weekend, it was absolutely amazing!  I learned from Chrystal to let yourself be loved and to hug someone a little bit longer… because you want them to feel the love from you come into them! Hug’s releases endorphins… into the other person from you! My big sis gives me wonderful hugs … my church family and my family give me wonderful hugs and make me feel loved .

I think this movie will help you with your grieving process and help you to heal as you are on your journey  to feeling better… I’ve added a couple of clips of people that are grieving … and maybe this will help you while you are missing your loved one. Hold on to your loved ones and close family and friends a little longer…. Because time is short… you don’t want to leave anything unsaid or wish you could have done something when they were living … give them their flowers now!

Freaky Friday

 Hey Everyone! 

I hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful Week so far.

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movies Starring Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chad Micheal Murray and a whole wonderful Cast! 

The movie starts off with a Girl named Anna Coleman who is a musician , who lives with her widowed mother psychiatrist Tess Coleman and a little brother named Harry, and their grandfather Alan.

 Tess is engaged to Ryan, Anna hasn't accepted the engagement, she is still coping with the death of her dad three years earlier, At School Anna contempts with unsympathetic teachers, bullying from her former best friend Stacy Hinkhouse, she has a crush on a classmate named Jake who her mother disapproves of.

Anna also plays guitar in a band called Pink Slip, which is preparing to audition for a spot in the Wango Tango Showcase, unfortunately the audition is the same time of the wedding rehearsal which means Anna is unable to attend the audition.

During dinner at Pei-Peis Chinese restaurant Anna and her mom have an argument Pei-Peis mother overhears them arguing and gives them fortune cookies which they both read aloud at the same time, all of a sudden a earthquake happens only Anna and her mom feel the earthquake, no one else is aware of the earthquake or felt it happen.

The next morning when they wake up they discover they have switched bodies, Tess attends high school as Anna and sees firsthand the challenges Anna experiences including targeted mistreatment by her English teacher Mr. Bates who holds a grudge against Anna since her mom didn't accept his invitation to prom.

Tess threatens to report him unless he treats Anna fairly, meanwhile Anna inhabits her mothers body and struggles to manage her moms patients and the responsibility of adulthood. they return to the restaurant where Pei-Pei tells them only an act of selfless love will change them back. 

While attending Harry's parent teacher Conference Anna reads a heartfelt essay he wrote about her which prompts her to treat him kindly than she was treating him before.

Tess in Annas body attempts to reconcile with Stacy she ends up getting sent to detention because Stacy told the teacher she was cheating on the test, Jake helps her to complete the test which gives her a whole new opinion of him, later Anna in Tess body is surprised with a live Tv interview about her book, Anna hasn't even read the book, she improvises a humorous monologue about aging, Tess and Jake watch the segment, Tess is mortified and Jake is amused by the whole thing. 

Anna later visits Jake art work where they connect over music, at the rehearsal dinner her bandmates attempt to sneak her out of the dinner they are caught, Ryan allows her to go to her audition to build some trust in their relationship.

Tess and Anna switch roles at the audition, Tess plays Anna's guitar backstage and Anna is on the stage pretending to play the guitar, when Tess sees Anna's talent on the guitar she commits to being more supportive, Jake unaware of the switch is really impressed!

You will have to see the movie to find out what happens at the end, I can tell you it is a happy ending for everyone and will leave you with a smile on your face and your heart warm!

I decided to write about this movie because it is part of my childhood and one of my favorite Disney Channel Original Movies. 

I am a big fan of Lindsay Lohan, she is an incredible actress and is loved by many and has touched many hearts throughout her life and career! She is also a memorable lady, and also has a happy smile that lights up whatever room she is in! I think one of my favorite childhood movies with her Is Parent Trap she did an awesome job!

It is something I grew up, I also learned from the movie you never know what someone is going through until you are in their shoes, for me personally I never knew about diabetes and was unaware of what it was like having it, until I actually had it.

 I had to see it from another persons view who had the diagnosis before I got it, now that I do have it I know what it is like personally and Tbh it is very hard.. I have my good and bad days, there are some days when I wish I didn't have it.

 I have learned how to take care of myself even in the midst of diabetes, It will be 6 years in August that I have had diabetes, like the song from The Greatest Showman This is me! 

And I am loving and enjoying life! And I have a wonderful circle of friends and family that support me along the way and I am so happy and glad to have them in my corner!

 I encourage you all not to judge someone or their situation until you have been in their shoes or situation. Life can throw you a lot of curve balls and you can choose to let the curve balls keep coming at you or you can just keep swinging at the curve balls and running the bases till you reach home! 

I am going to keep swinging and not let my diabetes get me down, I have to much to smile and be happy about remember there is always a reason to smile and laugh! 

One fun fact about me Is whenever you see me I will always have a smile or a laugh on my face! I may have had something that had made me upset or  down about something.

I am not going to be down for long!

 I love Lucy makes me a laugh, I have a ball with I love Lucy! She can really make Me LOL! My Dog Elijah he can definitely make me laugh! laughter is good for the soul, and this movie will definitely make you laugh throughout the movie! And remember always check on your friends and family.

One thing I learned from Robin Williams who is a wonderful person inside and out, he was incredible human being and always could make someone laugh and smile he had such a beautiful personality and wonderful sense of humor, everyone you meet or come in contact with  is "fighting a battle you don't know anything about " be kind! It costs nothing to be kind!  

Malcolm-Jamal-Warner who recently passed away July 20th he was only 54 years old, he was on a family vacation in Costa Rica, he got swept up by the currents in the water and drowned at the scene... He was a definitely a kind, loving, generous, happy person and was loved by many!

 I heard him say in an interview yesterday that he had his ups and downs in life, He was happy with his life and everything that he had accomplished in life, and that If he was to pass away he would go with a smile on his face! He had a beautiful smile and touched many lives in his 54 years of life and has left a beautiful legacy on the world!

My favorite scene from the movie is when Tess and Anna freak out about the switch and they are freaking out about being in each other's bodies! 

And I also like when they go for a drive in the car, And Anna is eating French fries while she is in her mom's body! And Tess and Anna fight over the French fries because she wants some too! 

Another memorable scene is when Anna loses her bedroom door and she is not very happy about that because she knows her mom took her door!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good movie!

Shall We Dance?

 

Hey Everyone, In celebration of Jennifer Lopez's Birthday coming up, I have decided to write about one of my favorite Movies Starring her, called Shall We Dance? 

Starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Lisa Ann Walter, Nick Cannon, and a whole wonderful cast of people! 

The movie starts off with a man named John Clarke, he is a lawyer and married to a woman named Beverly and he has a loving family he feels like something is missing in his life every day as he makes his way through the city, each evening on his commute home from Chicago he sees a beautiful woman in the window with a lost expression on her face through the window of a dance studio.

He is haunted by her gaze and he impulsively jumps off the train and signs up for ballroom dancing classes hoping to meet her, at first he feels like it was a mistake to sign up for the ballroom dancing class because he met the woman he has seen in the window Paulina.

 His teacher is the older teachers namesake of the studio Miss. Mitzi, and John is proving to be as clumsy as his equally clueless classmates Chic and Vern on the dance-floor.

 Later the good news is he gets his wish and he gets to meet Paulina the woman he was wanting and destined to meet unfortunately he doesn't get the response he was hoping for when he finally got to meet her and talk to her, she icily tells him she hopes he has come there to seriously learn how to dance and not look for a date, as he continues in his dance lessons he falls in love with dancing.

 He has not told his family or friends about his new obsession with dancing, he feverishly trains for the dance competition in Chicago his friendship with Paulina blossoms as his enthusiasm rekindles her own last passion for dance, the more time John spends away from home his wife gets more suspicious of what he is up to, she hires a private investigator to find out what John is doing once she finds out what he is up too.. she cancels the investigation and doesn't invade on her husbands privacy.

 Finally the competition has arrived and John is partnered with Bobbie for the competition his friend Link steps in to do the latin dances while John and Bobbie's waltz goes well.

 John suddenly hears his wife's and daughter voices in the crowd during the quickstep, he immediately gets distracted trying to find them, unfortunately him and bobbie fall and end up getting disqualified sadly, he and his wife Beverly argue in the parking garage and he ends up quitting dancing to everyone's dismay Paulina who was inspired by John to take up competing again is leaving to go to Europe and is having a go-away party at the dance studio. 

You will have to see the movie to find out what happens next with Paulina and John and the rest of the class! I decided to write about this movie because I have loved dancing since I was a little girl.

Dancing is one of my favorite things to do! I have a fun childhood memory that involves dancing, I am a big fan of the cheetah girls, I love all their movies, one year I had decided to have a birthday cheetah girls themed Party, Cheetah Girls One-World and me and my friends had a wonderful time we danced to a lot of cheetah girls songs from that movie! 

It is a memory I will always cherish,  One Pro in having Diabetes is I get to dance often, especially when my sugar levels are high and I have to get them down, I start dancing to you can't stop by the beat from Hairspray and that song immediately brings them down! Try dancing to that song it will give you a workout Lol!

One memory I can share with you is when I was in chorus for a chorus trip we went to Virginia Beach for a chorus concert, the time that we were there we got to go on a ship, during the time we were on the ship, they played a lot of fun and good music all I remember doing on the ship is dancing.

I danced a lot to one of the songs Party Rock, everyone was surprised at my dancing and talking about it the next day and saying Emerald you can really dance! 

Another time I experienced good dancing was when I went to see Aladdin on broadway With my chorus class and my high school chorus teacher that was an amazing and fun trip! 

They did a lot of fun dancing in that play, my favorite dance they did in that play was Friend like Me with Aladdin and the Genie dancing together, and then in the finale, they did excellent Dancing the whole crowd enjoyed it! 

Another play I really enjoyed dancing in was a Play Called Take the Lead, The dancing was incredible throughout the whole Play! 

Everyone put their Heart and spirit in their characters and dancing! The whole audience was on their feet by the end of the play! Adrienne -Bailon - Houghton Played the Principal in the Play, she did a beautiful Job! Everyone who went to see the play loved it, and told everyone about it and that they should check out the play! I saw it with my wonderful Jennie and we had a wonderful Time! 

I also wrote about this play because I am a big fan of Jennifer Lopez's I love a lot of her movies, she's so genuine and puts her whole heart into whatever character she is playing and she makes you feel like the character she is playing is a real person! 

One of my other favorite movies with her is the Wedding Planner, she does an incredible job in that movie! You should check out that movie when you get a chance, and also check out Marry Me I love her in that movie! She's so caring and kind and loving and has such and elegant Presence! 

Richard Gere also does an incredible Job in the movie, He plays his character Really good, and really draws the audience into his character and world! 

He has acted in a lot of awesome movies, my favorite one with him is Pretty Woman, He and Julia Roberts play off each other really well in that movie! You should check out some of his movies when you get a chance you will really enjoy it!

I also really enjoy Lisa Ann Walter's Movies, The first movie I saw her in was Parent Trap where She played Chessy, she did a beautiful Job in that movie, and her character she played in the movie is a memorable character, Everyone who has seen Parent Trap remembers Chessy! 

She also plays in Abbott Elementary, She plays Melissa Schemmenti, a second grade teacher and does an incredible job at it! She is loved by her students and fellow coworkers and friends and family! 

She also has a bright and happy smile! As soon as you see her smile it will stay in your head whenever you think of a happy smile you will see hers in your head because of how happy it is!

 I love happy smiles they always make my day and my Heart Happy!

 Like a smile that I really like and enjoy is my First Lady at Church's smile it is so welcoming and Warm, and makes you feel happy on the inside and outdside!

 I also enjoy my big sister;s smile, her smile can light up the whole room, her mom's smile can too!  

I love a lot of people's smiles especially if it is really happy and contagious because when you see their happy smile it will make you smile! Jennifer Lopez also has a beautiful smile! It fills up her whole face, and when you see her smile I bet you will feel a smile come on your face, especially when she laughs and smiles!

My favorite scene from the movie is when the classmates all go out to eat after finishing one of their dance classes and they all learn about each other and why they are learning ballroom dancing ! 

The responses and looks they give each other after they learn about each other and why they are dancing is so funny! It will make you laugh too! I also like when John finds out his co-worker is also taking dancing and he has such a surprised look!

 My encouragement to you is to Dance whenever you can, and enjoy life and seize the day and opportunity, whenever you have a feeling to dance then Dance! 

You will absolutely love that you did! One of my favorite songs to dance to is Save the Last Dance for Me by Micheal Buble, Fun Song and Let's Get Loud by J-Lo! Also if you like other kinds of music 🎶, Anthony Evans is absolutely incredible LOVE him, Kirk Franklin, Israel houghton have a lot of entertaining and fun songs  , also if you like Grease or Whitney Houston, those are also fun to dance too!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good fun family movie! And dance !

Hachi

 Hey Everyone!!!!

 I hope you all are having a wonderful and amazing July!!! I am so far! 

I have decided to write about one of my favorite movie starring Richard Gere, Joan Allen, Jason Alexander, and a whole wonderful cast. 

The movie starts off with a young man named Ronnie who says to his classmates his hero is his grandfathers dog Hachi, then we meet a man named Parker Wilson who is a professor who commutes to providence Rhode Island.

He finds a lost dog lost on the railway station in Bed Ridge and temporarily takes the dog to his home and tries to find out who the owner is of the dog, the dog hasn’t been claimed at all he is growing close to Parker, he takes Hachi everywhere with him.

Parker’s Japanese friend Ken says the dog is a breed called Akita and the character on its tag is called Hachi which means 8 in Japanese.

Parker names the Dog Hachi as it is a lucky number, Parker's Wife Cate eventually warms up to Hachi, he still sleeps out in the shed, Parker in Vain tries to train Hachi in normal things like fetching a ball, however Ken Explains Akita dogs Can't be trained; if Hachi catches the ball it will be for a special reason.

 Hachi digs a hole under the fence in his yard, and follows Parker to the train station, Hachi refuses to go back home and Parker misses his train, he hands the dog to his wife Cate and catches the next train, at 5;00 pm he returns to the station and is surprised to find Hachi there waiting for him.

He is even more surprised to find Hachi came to the station all by himself, from there a daily routine begins they walk to the train station together, Parker leaves from the train.

Hachi goes hime and comes back at 5;00 pm to retrieve Parker to go home, later Parker's daughter Andy marries Micheal and Hachi is in the family photo,Andy then announces she is pregnant.

A little after that Hachi starts acting Strangely and then follows Parker to the railway station with the ball, Parker throws the ball toward him, and much to his delight Hachi fetches the ball for the first time,  and they play for awhile and then Parker goes onto teach his class,  and he barks as the train leaves.

Parker is later shown at his class talking and standing in front of the piano and then he sits on the bench and holds Hachi's ball in his hand and ends up having a fatal stroke and collapses, Hachi waits for him at the train station, it becomes 9;30 pm and Micheal picks up Hachi from the Railway Station and takes him home.

Hachi sees Parker's family mourning him, the next morning is the funeral Parker's friends and family come to his funeral and Hachi goes to the railway station to wait, eventually Cate sells the house and moves away, Hachi now lives with Andy and Micheal and their newborn son Ronnie, even though Hachi is in a new House he follows the tracks to BedRidge.

Andy and Micheal find where he is and take him back home, Andy Realizes Hachi is pining for Parker, she opens the gate for him and Hachi licks her hand, and then runs back to the BedRidge Station and waits for Parker, He waits at the station every day and different vendors on the street and other people that see him or happen to come across him give him some food, a reporter writes a story about Hachi and people send over some money and cards.

Ken reads Hachi's story travels to BedRidge and talks to Hachi in Japanese and tells him he misses his best friend too, on Parker's ten year death anniversary Cate goes to visit his Grave and Ken is there too, Cate is pleasantly surprised and happy to see Hachi who is now elderly still waiting at the station for his friend, later Cate tells Ronnie who is now ten years old the story of Hachi and Ronnie settles in place.

You will have to watch the movie to find out what happens to Hachi later we go back to the present and Ronnie  tells his class his grandfather and Hachi taught him the meaning of "Loyalty" "you should never forget anyone you have loved", he finishes with Hachi will always be his hero, and his class applauds him. 

I have decided to write about this movie because I love my dog Elijah Deeply with all my heart, He is one of the best things that have happened to me, when I was in Middle School, I would write a lot of letters and notes to my mom on how much I wanted a dog and how I would take care of it, and walk it and do all the things that my dog would need, One day my mom saw my neighbors dog and said that dog is so well behaved and is looks like a very nice dog, and she asked what kind of breed the dog is? 

And he shared that the breeder who gave him his dog has puppies that are available and my mom took the contact info and gave the person a call, and then one evening my mom told me were going to for a ride to the store,  and as we continued riding in the car I knew we weren't going to the store because we had passed a few, we finally arrived at the destination and the lady came out and greeted us, her little cute dog greeted us also, we went in and down to her basement and there were puppies there to my surprise and my mom said pick one! 

I said seriously? She said yes, I played with the puppies for a little and picked one the one I picked had already been chosen, then the lady said why don't you see which one comes to you? 

That is what I did and as it turns out Elijah kept coming to me, I picked him and the rest is History!  Elijah is the baby of his litter, He is my whole Heart and Best Friend and my Protector he has been hanging with me since 2010, Elijah is similar to me in different ways He is loving and kind, and funny! He has an amazing and incredible personality , he is strong and loves going on rides, he shares his love with everyone! If he sees you are upset or sad about something he will lay his head on you or look at you sincerely and lovingly with his little cute eyes and give you kisses! 

He gives me kisses all the time lol! Elijah has been through a lot in his fourteen years of life, each of the things he has gone through in his life, he hasn't let any of it stop him! He may be getting older yes… he’s still young at heart and still loves me unconditionally !

 He still runs and loves to go on walks and he isn't afraid to use his voice! When I am away from Elijah, I think about him often, I am thinking is he ok? Is he having a good day?

 I like checking on him if I am on an outing or know that if I am going to be away for awhile that he is ok... I think I am his favorite Person... As soon as he sees me he gets the Happiest look on his face and gives a lot of kisses! Dogs are just like family, if you give them your heart and show how much you love and care for them they will give you the same in return! 

Elijah is a very popular Dog, almost everyone knows who Elijah is!  He also loves Music, His favorite is Disney Music, He loves the Encanto Soundtrack and he enjoys the Lion King! He also loves Watching I love Lucy, Bluey, and  Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ! Elijah is my best friend…  I just can’t stop loving him …. There are sometimes when I get a little grumpy with him when he wakes me up and has to go out… He kisses me lovingly and I take him outside… I would do anything for Elijah  he’s my world … He will be Turning 15 in August! He’s the big Dog on campus! As my Pastor G says Elijah’s fine and he’s all mine ! Lol 🤗‼️‼️

There are so many people in my life that sincerely love and care about me and they know that I love and care about them deeply, I think that I have a bleeding heart for people, l like making sure everyone is ok and letting them I am here if they need anything and they can count on me! 

And I am so happy and grateful to have them in my life and I will treasure and cherish the love and friendship they have for me! 

If any of you have lost someone special in your life or have lost a pet, I want  you to know that you are not Alone, someone will always be there for you in your time of need, don't be afraid to call or text someone if you are needing to talk or just want to hang out or do something I know that whatever person you called or texted would be elated to spend some time with you! 

And Remember all the good ,memories and special times that you had with that special someone or pet and know that they are always with you, even though you can't physically see them they are with you and will never leave you they will love you beyond the day that they transitioned

Whenever you need some cheering up, think of the special person or friend that makes you smile and I can tell you that you will feel much better. 

Or listen to one of your favorite songs a song that I really like is how Will I know by Whitney Houston and Remember the time by Micheal Jackson

My favorite scene is When Hachi and Parker first meet, and they become wonderful friends and have an amazing and wonderful relationship together! 

I also like how Loyal Hachi was to Parker, even though Parker was gone, he would wait at the train station every day for his master! That is a lot of love Hachi had for Parker!

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movie!
