I can only Imagine

Hey everyone, I decided to write about one of my favorite movies, It is called I only Imagine, It stars Dennis quaid and J Micheal. Finley, It is about a father and son's relationship, Micheal plays Bart Millard and Dennis plays Arthur.

It is also about redemption, faith, finding love for his son again. They have a rough and rocky relationship since Bart was growing up, It is emotional and physical it shows a lot of that relationship in the movie. Bart loves music, he always has music playing in his ears with his little cassette radio.

He has a wonderful relationship with his mother, In one of the scenes Bart drew a picture that he really admired and loves, he shows his mom and she likes it too.  Bart's dad sees the picture and he asks what it is, he tells him what it is and why it is important to him.

His dad talks to him about how dreams cant take him anywhere and how he has to live in the real world. His dad then asks him if he cares a lot about the picture, he says not really, his dad says if you don't care a lot about it then throw it away, he doesn't want to throw it away, his dad has a different idea in mind when he sees Bart is not doing what he asks, he snatches the picture from him and throws in the trash.

His mom tells him it will be ok, don't worry. You will see in the movie what else happens with the picture scene it is  a very significant  part to the story of bart's and his dad's relationship. Bart decides to lay down on his bed and listen to music to block out his parents arguing and his dad's yelling.

The next day Bart's mom wants to take him away from all the tension she takes him to a christian camp so he can have some fun and make some friends.

So he won't have to worry about whats going on at home, there is also a scene in the movie on his way to camp that is very important. It has to do with a song that plays in the car on the way there. You will see in the movie what happens at camp and what friends he makes when he is there. there is also another important scene that happens in the movie when he arrives home from camp that changes everything. You will see his journey and everything he goes through in the movie and how he is a strong and amazing person. It is a wonderful story.

I picked this movie to talk about because I have always loved music, It makes me very happy and feel good inside.

Singing takes me to a different place like I imagine that I am singing at different arenas and different places when I sing. I have been involved with singing as long as I can remember I was always involved in chorus and when I did plays I did a lot of singing in those too. I also love the song I can only Imagine, It has meaningful lyrics, and the song tells a story about imagining what heaven is like and seeing God in person! And the different emotions you will feel when you arrive there.

Personally I have had a few family members pass away that were very close to me, and they are all experiencing what heaven is like, I sometimes say to myself I can only Imagine what heaven is like for all my family members have passed on and what their experiencing and feeling in heaven. I know they are all happy, and have no tears and not in any pain. That makes me feel good to know.

My favorite character from I can only Imagine is Bart because he is a strong, kind, caring, loving character. Even after everything he goes through he still comes out wonderful in the end. You will see in the movie what changes happen with Bart and see how happy he is.

My favorite scene from the movie is when Bart sings to his dad Amazing Grace, you can really feel the compassion and the love he has when he is singing that song to his father, It is a beautiful scene, I don't want to give away spoilers! You will have to see the movie to watch the scene where he sings! I think it will move your heart!

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good story and enjoys singing in the movie!
