Hey everyone! I have decided to write about one of my favorite Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore movies It is called Blended. Adam plays a character named Jim Reynolds and Drew plays a character named Lauren Reynolds.
It is a comedy rom-com movie they do very good acting in the movie, there are also a lot of comical scenes in The movie that will make you laugh out loud.
The movie stars off with Lauren on a blind date with Jim, before Lauren goes to her date she goes to the restroom first and she is talking to her Kid's Babysitter on the phone her name is Tracy, she tells her that her blind date is not going well so far while the babysitter is at her house taking care of her two excited and rowdy boys named Brendon and Tyler.
They are doing crazy stuff at home while their mom is out on her date. They are playing with fire, and had to use a fire extinguisher on their babysitter.
After she gets off the phone she goes back to Jim, she finds out that he drank her beer and he is focusing on the tv instead of talking to her. He then focuses on the waitress when she brings him cheese sticks in the shape of the heart. Jim offers to share some of his food with Lauren and shares the hot sauce with her, it turns out to be hot for her and she uses her french onion soup to help her cool off. Jim comes up with a quick excuse and he leaves Lauren alone at the restaurant.
The next day, Lauren calls one of her friends to talk about what went wrong on the date,In her conversation she is having we learn from her that she is divorced and she wishes that she could have done something more to make her marriage work.
We then get to learn about Jim and what he does he works at a sporting good's shop with his buddy and Jim also has three daughters, his first daughter is named Hillary she dresses like a tom-boy and it also doesn't help that her dad calls her larry. you will learn more about her when you watch the movie. His next daughter's name is Espn, she is named after her dad's favorite network, she does interesting stuff in the movie you will see when you watch.
His baby girls name is Lou, she is very adorable and wild. You will get to see her personality in the movie. They all miss their mom very much, she passed away you will hear and learn more about her when you watch the movie.
We now get to meet Lauren's Kids she has an older son named Brendan he has a crush on his babysitter and he has a picture of her. Her other son's name is Tyler and he plays little league baseball and he isn't really good. You will also get to meet her ex-husband in the movie and see what he is like. Her oldest son is very protective of her and he gets defensive when he finds out about Jim from going through her emails.
Later in the movie we see Jim and lauren at the pharmacy picking up things for their kids, You will see the things they are getting from the store they end up getting in another argument and leaving, their cards also get mixed up when they go to check out at the store.
They end up going on vacation together, Jim brings his kids with him on vacation and lauren brings her kids with her.
They both do not like that they are at the same place and hotel they decide to make the best of it for their kids, you will see in the movie they actually have a wonderful time together as they get to know each other better and learn about each others families and kids.
They also have funny situations that they find themselves in different parts of the movie, It will make you laugh out loud and keep you on the edge of your seat.
I decided to write about this movie today because it is a good family comedy that everyone will enjoy and put smiles on their faces, I also really Adam Sandler movies, he makes me laugh a lot he is a wonderful actor and has made a lot of wonderful movies that make a lot of people laugh.
He is also in a lot of good movies with Drew Barrymore they work well together, one of my other favorite movies with them is the Wedding Singer, that is a wonderful movie that will make you smile and laugh. It is good to laugh and smile, It makes you feel good inside and helps you enjoy life and the happiness that it brings.
A fun memory I have with this movie is when I celebrated my 23rd birthday In EL Paso Tx with my family this movie was on tv and I watched the movie with my Aunt, We laughed and smiled at the movie together, that made me smile. It is a memory that I will remember forever.
My favorite character from the movie is Lauren because she is courageous, kind, loving, caring, funny and dependable.
She really cares about her family, as she gets to know jim better throughout the movie and see him with his kids, she sees that he is a warm, funny, caring and kind person with a wonderful heart that really cares about his daughters and wants the best for them and will do everything he can to make sure their happy and safe and always having a wonderful time.
That is how my family is with me, they always check on me to make sure I am doing good and ok and to let me know they are always there for me whenever I need them they love and care for me very much.
My favorite scene from the movie is When Lauren is putting Jim's youngest Daughter lou to bed, Jim at first tells her that he can put to her bed, she wants Lauren to and she is happy to do it, Lou and Lauren talk a little first before Lou goes to sleep,after they talked for a little Lou asks her if she can sing her a song, Lauren tells her sure she sings somewhere over the rainbow, Lou loves the song so much that it makes her have a good night sleep.
Jim really appreciates what Lauren did for his daughter Lou. There is also something funny that happens in the scene when Jim and Lauren are talking you will have to watch to find out.
I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family movie and have a nice laugh.
