Hey everyone It is December my favorite Holiday Month! I love watching christmas movies and listening to christmas Music.
One of my favorite christmas movies is the movie Elf starring Will Ferrell and Zoey Deschanel. Will plays a character named Buddy, The movie starts on Christmas Eve and it shows an orphanage where there is a baby who notices Santa's bag and crawls into the bag, He is then taken to the North pole.
The elves are working in the toyshop and excited when Santa arrives back to the North pole, he says hello to everyone and then the elves notice that there is something moving in Santa's bag, Santa turns around and sees that a baby crawls out of his bag, the elves decide to call the baby buddy, that is the name of the label that is displayed on his diaper.
There is an elf named Popa elf he decides to raise buddy. Everyone in the North pole love buddy and they accept him into their family and community, Buddy doesn't realize that he is a human being he thinks that he is an elf like the other elves he sees in the workshop and friends with.
Little does he know he later learns that he is an actual human being, His dad Popa elf explains to him how he came to the North pole and became part of the toy shop.
He learns that Popa Elf adopted him and his biological parents live in New York City there names are Walter Hobbs and Susan Wells,He learns that his mom had made the decision to put him up for adoption before she passed away.
His dad works for a children's book publisher at the Empire State building. He doesn't have any idea about Buddy, he doesn't know that he exists at all, It will be a big surprise for him when he finds out about Buddy.
While Buddy is still at the North Pole, He decides to talk with Santa he learns from him that his dad is on the naughty list because he hasn't been very nice, he tells buddy that he could help become kind and that could put him on the nice list.
Buddy decides to go to New York City and he finds his father at his work, Walter thinks that he is someone delivering a special christmas message to him, Buddy freaks him out a little Walter has him thrown out of his office.
A couple of dramatic events happen after he is thrown out of the office, You will see what happens with buddy when you watch the movie. There are a couple of funny situations he gets himself into.
Buddy meets his family, they have a little tough time getting comfortable with each other, as time goes on they start feeling more comfortable with each other and happy.
You will also see in the movie Buddy learns that he has a younger brother that he is so excited about. His brother at first ignores him, Later in the movie Buddy helps him out with a situation at his school, and then his brother is excited and happy to have him as a big brother.
You will also see how Buddy's and his dad's relationship plays out in the movie, there is a dramatic scene, it all works out in the end. Buddy gets a happy ending in the movie too.
I decided to write about this movie today because It is a wonderful movie to watch during the christmas season. It will make you laugh a lot and really enjoy the christmas season. The whole cast in the movie does an amazing job in the movie, they play their characters very well. '
You believe that they are that character that they were assigned to play in the movie, they bring them to life.
My favorite character is Buddy because he is a very happy, caring, and kind guy. He always makes sure everyone is ok and happy.
He loves christmas and spreading christmas cheer. He loves his family and would do anything for them. He also loves christmas tree and looking at how much they sparkle with all the christmas lights on them. It makes me feel happy Inside and excited to celebrate the christmas season and sing christmas carols, and spend time with my family.
My favorite scene from Elf is when Buddy comes back from his date, he is so excited that he runs back to tell his dad about it went, his dad is in a meeting with one of his important clients, His client that he is meeting with is very short.
When Buddy sees him he thinks that he is an elf, His dad's client at first laughs and then asks buddy's dad if he can ask buddy to come back later. Buddy doesn't hear his dad, he asks his dad's client what kind of elf he is, he tells him that he is not an elf. Buddy keeps calling him an elf. The funny part comes after that it will make you laugh out loud.
I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to watch a good family christmas movie! The best way to spread christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear.
