Last Holiday

 Hey everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week, I have decided to write about the Movie starring Queen Latifah and Llcoolj . It is a wonderful and beautiful story, Queen plays a character named Georgia Byrd and LL plays a character named Sean.

 It begins with the Holiday season beginning and all the people are excited and getting ready for Christmas, and Georgia works in a cookware department at Kragen's department store in the state New Orleans. 

Georgia has a lovely personality and a very nice person, she is more introverted and shy, her dream is to cook professionally, and she also writes down her dreams and thoughts in her possibilities book of what she wants to do in her life. 

The Character I mentioned earlier Sean, he works in the same store as Georgia, he is on a different floor. Georgia likes to flirt with him, he likes her a lot he tells her when he sees her he tells her that he can smell the food that she is cooking all the way from where he is working and that he just has to come up to where she is working and taste the food. 

While she is preparing a plate for him, she accidentally leaves a cabinet open with different cookware she keeps in there while she is preparing the food. She puts some seasoning on the food and gives him the plate of food, he really likes it and compliments it.

 While they are talking, she goes back into her work area  and accidentally bumps her head on the cabinet door, and she passes out Sean takes her to the hospital so they can check her out and see whats going on. 

She receives a cat scan, she has a little bump on her head from where she hit the cabinet door. 

The doctor comes back with some news, he tells her that she has several brain tumors that is a result from Lampington's  disease. 

She doesn't have enough coverage to receive an Operation on her brain, she comes to the fact that she only has a few weeks to live, and so she quits her job and does the things that she has always dreamed of doing that she wrote in her possibilities book. 

She goes on a vacation and is staying at a Hotel called the GrandHotel Pupp. It is a Spa Hotel and it is in the city of Karlovy vary in the czech Republic.

She is living life to the fullest on her vacation, she is going shopping, have fun experiences and doing different things that she hasn't done before. 

And she is free of Inhibitions she is also staying in a fancy room, she is placed to stay in the presidential suite you will see what the suite looks like in the movie, It is beautiful and the hotel is Beautiful to you will also see what that looks like in the movie too it is Incredible. 

She is also making sure to use the Spa Services while she is a guest there, she gets different massages and other services in the spa. 

She decides to try snowboarding and base jumping off of a big dam and she is enjoying succulent meals made by her favorite chef and she also wins some money playing a game in the casino. 

In the movie you will get to see all the experiences Georgia has while she is on her vacation, and something exciting and happy happens to her close to the end of the movie,you will have to watch to find out what happens with her it is a very happy ending.

I decided to write about this movie today because Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, I just love christmas it brings so much happiness to my heart and joy. 

I love all the christmas movies too, they are so light- hearted and funny. Queen latifah does a wonderful and amazing job in this movie, you can really feel what her character is going through in the movie, and feel all her emotions that she is portraying through her character. 

It also reminds me of a fun time when I was in the airport about to go on a trip, 

My mom and me were waiting in line to get our plane tickets and the guy said when it was our turn to go up that we would be getting first class tickets and sitting in first class on the airplane, that was my first time sitting in first class. I felt like Queen latifah because in the movie her character sits first class on the airplane too. It's a memory I will always remember and treasure.

My favorite character from the Movie is Georgia because she is kind, caring, friendly, loving and loves living life. 

Even though she is quiet and shy she still finds a way to live life to the fullest even through everything she is going through and that is happening to her. 

She found a way to make her situation positive instead of negative and got a new outlook on life when she followed her dreams and ideas of what she wrote in her possibilities book. 

I like living my life that way, I like living it to the fullest and always seeing the glass as half-full and seeing things in a positive way. I am a happy and outgoing person and I am excited about what is in store for myself and seeing what direction my life is headed in, I know it will be very exciting and fulfilling like how Georgia's dream was fulfilled and was happy and exciting for her. When I get into my older age and looking back at my life, I want to be able to say I love all the memories I made in my life and I lived it to the fullest. 

My favorite scene from Last Holiday is when she enters the hotel restaurant and is so excited to be there, she is wearing her new red dress that she is bought it is very pretty. 

She is directed to where she will be sitting by the waiter and he gives her a menu and tells her what all the specials are, and all the food they are serving that evening. Before she orders she asks him if they are going to be serving the same food they are preparing for that evening the next evening. He said no they will not be serving the same specials and food the next evening, so she decides to try all of the specials and foods they are serving that evening. You will see what happens in the movie, It is a very funny and happy scene.

I recommend this movie to anyone who would to see a happy holiday-romantic comedy movie.
