Marry Me

 Hey Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend, I would like to share with you all a favorite movie of mine starring Jennifer lopez, Owen Wilson and Muma. 

It is a movie Called Marry Me and Jennifer Lopez plays a character named Kat Valdez and Muma Plays a character named Bastian and they are both famous artists and known around the world and the Latin Community. They made a song called Marry Me together and it becomes a top crosser across the world. 

They are planning to get married in front of all of their fans at one of Kat's concerts. 

Now a little later in the movie we are introduced to Owen Wilson's character his name is Charlie Gilbert he is a math teacher and is divorced, he has a daughter and he feels like their relationship is not as close as it used to be at the school where he teaches he has a friend named Parker who is a really good friend to him and Lou. 

His friend Parker is a big fan of Kat Valdez and tells him that she has tickets to Kat's concert that evening he at first is hesitant about it then Parker tells him that Lou will think he is cool if he takes her to see Kat in concert. 

He decides to take lou and go  to the concert with Parker to see Kat, they arrive at the concert and Kat is singing different songs before the wedding ceremony happens.

When Kat is done singing she gets off the stage and gets into her wedding gown to get married to Bastian while she is still backstage and preparing to go to the altar she notices everyone is looking at their phones and are surprised and astonished about what there seeing.

 Kat notices and asks her assistant manager what is everyone looking at and tells him to give her his phone he gives it to her and she is shocked and dismayed about what she sees on the screen she sees her fiancé cheating on her with her assistant. 

She is then being lifted  up on the stage for the ceremony and before she reaches the stage her managers phone falls out of her hands and back to him she reaches the stage and is looking at the audience still shocked and very disappointed and heart broken. 

She makes a speech about what Bastian did to her before her audience and he is very upset and embarrassed you will see how he reacts in the movie. 

 While she is talking about her feelings and the whole situation she notices a sign in the audience that a fan is holding and the fan is Charlie he is holding a Marry Me Sign and she decides quickly without any thinking to marry him in front of everyone at her concert everyone is very surprised and amazed that she would do something like this.

 Charlie goes up on the stage and marries her and then exits the stage with her and as she is trying to exit the building Bastian and her assistant are trying to explain what happened and she is refusing  to talk to either of them and just wants to go home. 

When you watch the movie you will see the relationship with Charlie and Kat begin to evolve as they get to know each other better and get into a real relationship and begin to like each other, also eventually fall in love with each other even though they are different and different people they still have a beautiful relationship together and make it work.

I decided to write about this movie because I love romantic Comedies and I believe that God has someone out there special for me and will present him to me when the moment is right. 

Also Jennifer lopez is one of my favorite actresses , I have seen a lot of her movies I feel like I connect with her a lot of characters she brings a lot of personality to her characters that she plays and brings them to life. 

She puts herself and her heart into every character she plays and when you watch the movie that she is acting in you can really feel the character she is portraying because she put a hundred percent into it.

 I also look up to her because she gives encouraging messages and she is very fun and light-hearted and a very positive uplifting women.

My favorite character is Kat Valdez because she is fun, uplifting and has a very positive spirit and a big and caring heart, after everything she has gone through even though it is hard she still keeps her head up and keeps on moving forward knowing that that her true love is out there and will be right for her. 

She is courageous and confident she goes after what she wants and she is not afraid to pursue and go after her dreams.

My favorite scene from the movie is when Charlie is visiting with Kat and there communicating with one another and then he mentions that the school is having a dance and that they need chaperones. And then she asks him if he is asking her to the school dance ? She accepts and they have a wonderful and enjoyable time together!!!! 

There is a surprise that she does while she is at the dance you will have to see the movie to see what she does! It’s a really fun thing that she does and everyone loves it!

It’s a really cute scene! It remind me of when I went to my high school prom ! I had an amazing and wonderful time.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves romantic comedies and J-lo movies.
