Good Morning Baltimore!

 Hello everyone, I decided to write about my favorite Musical Hairspray.

 It is a wonderful Movie, that has a good storyline, and wonderful music and good dancing. It is about a girl named Tracy who lives in Baltimore Maryland and who also dreams of being on the Corny Collins show to dance and bring both colors of races together, like in The Martin Luther King Jr speech, he had a dream that we would all come together as one, and get along and come together as a community. 

Tracy has wonderful Parents that love and care about her, and always have her best interest at heart. Her best Friend Penny was always by her side, and whatever she was going through at the moment. 

Tracy watches the Corny Collins show every day, so one day after school she and Penny run home to watch the Corny Collins show, and Penny tells her that she should audition for the show, and get her chance to become very famous and be a part of the public eye. 

Tracy first talks to her mom about auditioning for the show, and her mom at first is hesitant because she thinks Tracy won't get picked because she is overweight.

 That makes Tracy upset because she thinks that her mom is trying to stop her from achieving her dream. Her mom then goes to Tracy's dad to ask him if he can explain to Tracy why she is hesitant about Tracy auditioning for the show. 

He goes to talk to Tracy and encourages her to follow her dream, and not give up. After talking with her dad Tracy decides to skip school, and go to the audition for the show, her friend penny comes with her for support. You have to watch the movie to find out what happens with Tracy and the audition.  She doesn't give up on her dream. It is a really eye opening scene of what happens next with Tracy and her dream. 

My favorite song from Hairspray is You Can't Stop the Beat because it has really good lyrics and a good beat, It is also talking about that you can't stop the rhythm of music. People should be able to be themselves and express themselves the way they want to without feeling scared and not feeling judged about the way they act or feel towards anyone.

My favorite Characters Are Link and Tracy because they really express themselves in the movie, and really encourage other, and they bring out the best in each other because they have each other's back. They compliment each other. They have a wonderful story in the movie too, and Penny has a wonderful story in the movie too.

I chose to write about Hairspray today because It is a really good and encouraging story about reaching for your dreams, and not giving up. It also has really catchy music, and a wonderful storyline. It really brings you in to what is happening in the movie, and will keep you on the edge of your seat in a good way.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves Musicals, and good music to dance to and sing to.

Frozen

Hello everyone, Frozen is a wonderful Movie. 

It is about two sisters who love playing together when they are young, and one morning Anna wakes up and sees that is snowing outside. She goes to wake up her sister Elsa, and asks her if she would like to build a snowman, Elsa says ok, so she and Anna go ahead and start playing.

Anna loves playing with Elsa because she sees that elsa has magical powers and can do different things with the snow, and make different objects She makes a snowman called Olaf, and Olaf loves warm hugs. Something important in the story happens to Anna while her and Elsa are playing together. 

The story then shows Elsa and Anna all grown up, something happens between them from when they were growing up together when they were little girls, their relationship becomes distance and they begin to distance from each other because they haven't had any connection or contact with each other since they were little girls. 

It is then time for Elsa's coronation to become queen of where they live since she is now the right age to become the queen of where they live is which is a really nice county. Something happens at the coronation with Elsa, you will see what happens with Elsa in the movie, It is really interesting and amazing at the same time.  

I chose to write about Frozen today, because it is a really good movie, and has really good singing and Music. It is one of my favorite movies because it makes me feel like I am a part of the story and along for the ride with the rest of the characters and everything that is happening in the movie. 

What I enjoy in the movie Frozen is the part where Olaf comes in, He is so cute and kind, he has a very warn and kind heart, and a warm personality. He has a good solo in the movie too, It is really enjoyable, and fun to listen to.

My favorite character in the Movie is Olaf, because he reminds me of myself, I love warm hugs, and I love to sing and smile. He also has a funny, sweet, personality. And he has a big and caring heart. My favorite song from the Movie is let it go because it helps me to release stress, and anxiety of the things that I have been holding on to. I also enjoy singing along with it, because it makes me feel like I am Elsa when I am singing the song. 

I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good storyline, and action, and Entertainment,and singing.

Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakel

 Hey everyone! How are you? I decided to write about Alvin and the chipmunks the squeakel it is a wonderful and happy movie.

 The Movie starts out with Alvin, Simon, Theodore having a concert in front of everyone, and it is going good, Alvin starts showing off at the concert too,  Dave starts yelling to Alvin, and then he ends up getting hit in the face with Alvin's head mask. 

Dave ends up going to the hospital and he tells his chipmunks that he has registered them all for school, and that they will be taking care of someone in the family while he is recovering, the chipmunks say ok, and then they are at the airport to meet their temporary guardian who will they be staying with while their parent Dave is at the hospital. 

The Chipmunks stay with someone named Toby and he takes them to school, and the chipmunks are a little nervous to go to school because they have never been to school before and they don't know what the experience will be like, they make it to school, and everything looks big and new to them because they are small, and this is a whole new adventure for them. 

They are accepted into the school by mostly everyone except a couple of bullies, and Theodore is afraid of the mascot the eagle because it looks so big and scary to him, Later in the movie Theodore faces his fear of the eagle and is not afraid of him anymore. 

Later in the movie, the boys go to their lockers, and look across the hall from them to see girl chipmunks, they are called the Chipettes, and their names are Brittany, Eleanore, Janette. The boys immediately fall head over heels with them because they are so pretty, and glamorous. Then later the girls sing for the school, and the boys go to watch them sing and they found out they are working with their nemesis Ian then the boys have a different idea about them because they are working with Ian. 

You will see what happens with Alvin, the Chippettes and Ian in the movie it is very funny and happy.

I decided to write about Alvin and the chipmunks Squeakel because it is a movie that I really enjoy and love, it is very musical and funny, I love singing along with the chipmunks and watching them in the movie. My favorite Character is Alvin because, he loves to have fun, and has a wonderful and caring heart. He loves his family, and always makes sure everyone is having fun and a wonderful time. Even though he sometimes gets in trouble, he means well. 

My favorite song from the movie is We are family, because it shows all of them singing together, and becoming a family with each other, and Dave does something exciting with the girl chipmunks in the movie. 

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves Musicals, and likes a good comedy movie. It is definitely one of my favorites.

Hey Everyone, Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful afternoon, Today I decided to write about my favorite childhood movie Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella with Brandy Norwood and Whitney Houston . 

It is about a young lady who lives with her father , two stepsisters and step mother. Sadly her father passes away, she promises him that they will stay together as a family. 

As she grows up her stepmother and stepsisters treat her mean and treat her as their maid, and give her chores to do for them and the house. I also think they are a little jealous of her because she got everything she wanted when her father was Alive, and she was treated nicer then her stepsisters. 

Cinderella has always dreamt of running away from home, and living her dream that has always made her happy and being in a place that feels like home to her, not like the home that she is living at now. 

One day a messenger comes by their home, and drops off an invitation.

 Cinderella looks at the invitation, her stepmother sees that Cinderella is looking at something and says give it to me, she sees that it is an invitation to the ball at the palace, and everyone is invited. 

Cinderella asks if she can go, and her stepmother tells her the prince wouldn’t be interested in you. 

You are a simple Person, and you have still have chores to do. Your Sisters and I will be attending. You can attend the next ball,  Cinderella helps her family get the ready for The ball and then they are on their way to have a wonderful and marvelous time. 

Cinderella then goes back in the house, and wishes that she could go to the ball, and then something magical happens , Someone appears and it is a woman with a wand.

 Cinderella is very surprised and asks her who she is, she says that she is her fairy godmother and here to help her make her wish come true of going to the ball.

 Cinderella can’t believe it. She is also excited that she gets to go to the ball, they also have a Little talk about her family.

 Her fairy godmother tells her her family hasn’t come to realize what a fabulous and wonderful person she is yet. 

Her fairy godmother gets her ready, and gets her a carriage and horse, and puts a beautiful Dress on her, she tells her before she leaves for the ball, she has to be back before midnight because the spell will wear off, and she will be back to her normal self.

You will love what happens to Cinderella, she has a very happy ending. And the Finale of the Movie is Brilliant and beautiful. 

My favorite song from Cinderella Brandy is Possible/ It’s possible because it’s talking about how Dreams are possible and anything is possible if you do something about your Dream and chase after the Dream that you are Dreaming about, and not just sit and wait on the Dream that you are Dreaming to happen.

 Brandy does a fantastic job as Cinderella, You can really feel her portrayal as Cinderella and everything that she goes through in the movie. And it just puts a big smile on your face and joy in your heart because it is such a joyful and happy, musical, entertaining story and beautiful movie. Whitney Houston does a Amazing Job as the fairy Godmother, she really pours herself into the role of the fairy godmother, like Brandy pours herself into the role of Cinderella. 

My favorite character is Cinderella/ Brandy because I feel like Can relate to Cinderella because she has a really caring heart and personality she loves her family, and would do anything for them.

 She treats them with kindness and respect and has so much love in her heart, and she also loves Music and singing, Music is a part of my life also, singing always makes me feel so happy inside and brings a smile to my face, and she is determined to make her dreams come true, you will see what happens with Cinderella and her dream in the movie, and I believe you will love what happens with Cinderella.

I chose to write about this Movie today  because it is such a wonderful part of my childhood and Young-adult hood, I really love the story of Cinderella and the acting In the movie it feels so real, like you are actually in the movie and In the story with all the people in the movie.

 The Cinderella andWhitney Houston Version has always been my favorite Cinderella Movie. I know all the songs from the Movie and Soundtrack,

 I’ve been singing along with the Soundtrack all week. If you all are looking for a good movie to watch and and enjoy when you get a chance to relax, or just want to watch a good movie watch Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella on Disney+.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves The Cinderella Story.

The Secret life of Elijah Gray

 Hello everyone, My name is Elijah. I am Emerald's dog, I love sleeping, and eating food, going for walks and I love to play with my minnie Mouse blanket.  I also have a brother named Willie, I love him very much, we play together a lot and enjoy each other's company, we are the best of friends.

I have been with Emerald my doggy mom since 2010, I love her so much, and I am very protective over her. For example, when her dad comes up her to playfully I bark at him because I don't want emerald to get hurt. I like watching Tv sometimes, She will put on Mickey Mouse clubhouse for me, I love that show, because there are other animals in the show just like me. 

I also like 101 Dalmatians and cars because with 101 dalmatians there are a lot of dogs in that movie, and they bark a lot in the movie, which is something I love to do, I bark a lot, and it sometimes drives emerald's mom and dad crazy, they love me anyway.

I like the movie cars because I like going on car rides, I love riding in the car i especially like sitting in the front seat because when the windows are rolled down I can feel the air on my face. When I go for car rides, I like going to Chic-fil-a because they give me doggy bones. And they taste so good, for my birthday I get a tiny Ice Cream cone which I really enjoy, 

I love Ice Cream.  Emerald took me their last year for my birthday, I loved it, I love emerald's family too, I have a lot of fun memories with her family. 

I will share a couple of memories I have with her family with you, One funny memory I have Is when Emerald's Aunt Erica, and her cousins Devin and Eric came up to visit us. So while we were all visiting with each other, and talking with one another, Emerald's dad wanted to have a push- up competition with her cousin Devin, so Devin said ok, they began the competition and they both were doing excellent, and both were really really strong, and I noticed that Devin started getting tired, and I wanted to encourage Devin to let him know that I am cheering him on, and that he can do it, so I went over to him and licked his face, that encouraged him to keep pushing and that he could do it.  

Her dad won the push-up contest, they both did really excellent. I was glad that I could be there to cheer Devin on and let him know I was on his side. 

Another memory I have is with Emerald's grandfather Daddy Dodge, he liked me a lot, I would walk with him around the house, and sit with him in his room. There was one time when he came home from his doctor appointment, he opened the door and said Elijah, he tapped his legs and I jumped on his lap, I was so excited to see him I gave him a lot of kisses. I like Emerald's grandma too, I smile at her a lot, she gives me nice belly rubs. And her Uncle Deric and Uncle Tony play with me too, I really enjoy that. 

I also enjoy a lot of Emerald's friends like Nicole, Chaise, and Clara,Denise they really like me a lot, I am an adorable dog, I get a lot of Compliments. Whenever I know one of her friends is coming to visit I get so excited because I know that I am going to have a fantastic time with all of them, and I am going to get a lot of belly rubs, and compliments and treats. I am so happy to know all of them, they make me very happy.

You also may know me from Emerald's Instagram or Facebook, or maybe from Conversation because she talks about me a lot, and a has a lot of pictures of me on her social media page, or you could know me from the neighborhood, we take a lot of walks together.  I like sitting with her and laying my head on her lap, it is very comfortable to me. She also bought me a nice doggy bed that I also love to sleep in.

And when it becomes nighttime and time for bed, I love waking up in the morning , because I know it is time for breakfast, so I run down the hallway, and down the stairs because I am excited for first meal of the day.

I get a lot of treats and snacks from her dad too, he spoils me a lot, I like it when he shares his candy and food with me. He sometimes acts like he doesn't know where I am, he will say where's Elijah? I will bark at him because I want him to know that I am in the room, I don't like being ignored.

I am so glad and happy to be Emerald's dog, I help keep her calm and happy, she feels anxious whenever I am not with her or not in the room. I feel the same way whenever she leaves the house, or is away on a trip for a while. She makes me happy, and feel loved.

I have a special memory with her, we as a family went on vacation a little while ago, and we stayed at a nice hotel, Emerald and me waited outside in the hallway, while we were standing there one of the people who works their comes up to emerald and says I can tell you both really love each other. That is a memory that is special to me, and one I will always remember, My other special memory is when I first Emerald, and when I became her dog I am the baby of my litter, and my dog mom her name is Daisy. 

Anyway when I first saw Emerald I was so excited !!! and couldn't wait to go home with her, she didn't see me yet, she was playing with my brothers and sisters, and picked a different dog before me, so the lady who was taking care of us told her to put the dog down that she had chosen, and see which ones come to me on their own.  

So after a couple of minutes of playing with my brothers and sisters, I decided to go up to Emerald, and I said that I am your dog, I like you. I choose you, I chose Emerald, and she chose me we have been best friends ever since that amazing day. 

I really like my name too Elijah, my full name is Elijah August Prince Anthony Gray, I am a royalty dog, my breed comes from royalty. I may be a small dog, I am a big dog in my own way, I am not afraid of anything. I am brave, loyal, adorable, and a wonderful and amazing Dog, and my favorite quote from Beverly hills Chihuahua is I am tiny but mighty. I am a mighty and strong dog. I am glad to meet all of you and share my some of my secret life with you, I have to go now and get doggy treats! I will be on again soon, and tell you more secrets about me! Woof Woof!

My Trip to the Dentist

 Hello Everyone, 

I recently had a trip to the Dentist Office.  When I had my normal dentist trip I found out that I had a cavity and they said that I have my first cavity and that I would need to have work done on my mouth to fill the cavity. I was thinking oh my gosh, Im so nervous! 

I have never had work done on my mouth before, and my tongue is a fighter, it fights all the dental instruments that they put in my mouth. The Dentist will say Emerald please move your tongue to the side or the roof of your mouth.

 So a couple weeks after my appointment It was NewYears Eve so I called my cousin Devin to tell him Happy new year! And that I have my first cavity, and that  I have to get work done! He asked me if my cavity hurt at all? And I said no and that I was nervous about getting work done on my mouth. He said it's good that doesn't hurt, and you got this! You will be ok! And it is good that they caught it early.  

Then came the time for my Dentist appointment to fill my cavity. I was so nervous on the way to the appointment, I told my mom personally I like going to the Dentist better than the doctor because I know what they are going to do.

 I don't like going to the Doctor as much because I am worried what they are going to say after they finish giving me a checkup. It makes me feel more uncertain then going to the dentist because I never know what is really wrong.

 We were still on our way to the office, and I told my mom I can't wait to see my cheeks puffy. I can show my friends and family what my face looks like after I got my cavity fixed. I told her I wish Devin was here to hold my hand, while I was getting my cavity filling, So while we were still continuing on our way I decided to imagine that when I arrived at the dentist office he could be there to hold my hand. 

We made it to the dentist office, I was first up, I said to myself here we go. The Dentist Assistant made sure I was comfortable, and told me what was going to be happening with the filing of the cavity in my mouth. And I said thank you for filling me in. 

Then my Dentist came in, and asked how I was doing, and he also talked with me about what he was going to be doing, It was then I imagined that Devin was there to hold my hand, before the procedure the dentist told me to sit back in the chair and relax, and that he was going to numb my mouth, so I would not feel any pain while they were working on filling my cavity.  

Then it came the time to fill my cavity in, So I sat back in the chair, and while he was working on my cavity, I felt tapping on my shoulder, his assistant was tapping me on my shoulder for comfort and I think also to say it will be ok. It helped to me distract me too, it took my mind off what the dentist was doing and went to the tapping. 

It didn't take long at all, I successfully made it through my Dentist appointment, my dentist said that I did a fantastic Job. My whole face felt swollen and numb. The left side of my cheek was puffy and swollen. I didn't see any puffiness on the right side of my face. I am glad that I got it accomplished and over with. 

Sheroses 🌹

 Hey everyone, I wrote about the Men who I admire and love in my last blog, and who are Heros to me. Today I am dedicating this blog to the woman in my life who are Sheroes to me. They are very Inspiring and encouraging, and lift me up when I need a hand.  They are Sharrie, Tia, and Ria. Sharrie attributes to my life by giving me life advice, and keeping it real, Tia attributes to my life by keeping me encouraged and making sure that I am happy, and smiling. Ria attributes to my life by giving me sweet text messages, and always being there for me to lean on.

I have a lot of wonderful moments with Sharrie, She has taken me to a lot of different and exciting places.I have been too a few music concerts with her, that I treasure. She took me to see Kirk Franklin in Concert, that was so much fun, he is my favorite gospel singer. She was the MC at my high school graduation Party, she did an amazing Job. She is very caring, and kind. After my high school graduation we went to Friendly's for a celebration, and it was a little cold in the restaurant, she offered me her jacket to wear so I could be warm. She has an exciting Personality, and a very warm heart. I am so glad that she is my cousin. I love her very much.

I have a lot of Good moments with Tia too, she makes me laugh and smile, and fills my heart with joy. She gives amazing hugs. One of my favorite moments with Tia is when I was little and we were in the kitchen, and my mom took a picture of us together.  

We have wonderful talks together, and we laugh together when we face time each other. She calls me Doll as a nickname or Princess Emerald. I love Tia very much, she has an exciting and fun personality, and a very bright smile, I love her accent. She loves having fun, and spending time with her family, and friends. She has beautiful girls. She is a wonderful mother. 

I have a lot of Wonderful Moments with Ria, she is always there if I need someone to lean on. Her Hugs
are always filled with happiness and love. She always has the brightest smile whenever I see her face. And she always gives me encouraging text messages that make my day! We are texting buddies! She is like a big sister to me! I love her very much.

And my other Sheroses are my Moms Aka Sisters they are there for me, and Always encouraging me in my life! And support me! They pray for me, offer me guidance, and always there to give me a hug or a smile! I’m grateful to have them in my life! And thankful for all they have done for me!
