My Cousin Sharrie and Tia

 Hello everyone, I am going to be talking about my cousin Sharrie. She is a very beautiful woman, she is from Memphis Tennessee and has brothers and sisters. I am related to her through my aunt Carolyn and uncle Warrie.

 I have a lot of fun memories with my cousin Sharrie, I will share a few memories with you. One memory I have is attending her graduation, I was a baby then my mom took me to her graduation and all the family was there to celebrate with her on her special day, I am glad I was able to attend a special event in her life. Sharrie has always been there for me, has always encouraged me and supported me through everything. Sharrie is a news reporter, she is on the Abc news 6 In Philly, If you have a chance watch the abc 6 news. She is amazing on there. She has had a lot of different news jobs and has done terrific in all of them. 

She loves traveling and loves seeing her family. When my grandfather was sick, she came up to pa, to visit with him and my family, to help out my mom while my grandfather was in the hospital. He passed away, Sharrie was a very good person to have with us while we were all grieving my uncle Warrie and Uncle Deric came up too, to prepare for my grandfathers funeral. Sharrie is a very funny and enjoyable person. I go to her whenever I need advice or someone to talk to. 

I remember one time, my mom and I went to visit her in Philly, she had planned a special outing for me for my birthday. She was taking me to see my favorite gospel singer Kirk Franklin, that was so much fun and a moment I will never forget. We sang all of the songs together at his concert, we took a selfie while we were at the concert too. The next day she took us out for lunch and we had pizza it was really good. We always have fun when we visit with her. I remember another fun time we had when we were visiting with her, my dad had an interview in Philly, I got to miss school for the day, and go see my cousin Sharrie with my mom and dad. I stayed with Sharrie when my mom went with my dad to his interview. While they were at the interview, Sharrie told me that I could come to the Abc news station and see what she does when she is on the news.

It was so cool, I got to see what happens behind the scenes when they are on the air. During one of the commercial breaks, Sharrie told me that I could sit behind the news table  and take a picture with her, So I went up the stairs and went behind the table and sat in the chair, It felt so cool, I actually felt like I was a news reporter. I took a couple pictures with my cousin, and then they continued with the broadcast of the news. She did an outstanding job. I got to take a tour of the Station too, that was cool. They have a lot of hard working people there. I am glad that I had one day to miss school to go down to philly and see my cousin!

Another fun memory I have Is while I was attending Millersville University, My friends and I decided to plan a fun girls trip to go on together, we decided to go to Philly, I wanted to introduce my friends to my cousin, I had texted my cousin about it, she said that she could possibly do it, she told me that she would check her schedule and let me know. She checked her schedule and told me what day would work for her, I told my friends about it, we made a plan and went. We went to Philly on the train, It was such and exciting trip, the train ride was good too, we had a fun ride the whole way there.

 Sharrie picked us up from the train station, and took us to lunch, we had a wonderful lunch and good conversation. My friends enjoyed meeting her too. One thing that happened is Sharrie saw that a couple of guys were having trouble with their car, being the kind and wonderful and helpful person that she is, she decided to get out of her car and help them. The car problem was fixed, they said thank you, and share said your welcome. Then She took us to a museum a pixar museum, They had a lot of cool stuff inside. We were so glad that we made the train trip to Philly, and got to see my cousin. She is an outstanding person. At my high school graduation, she was my mc. She did a fantastic job, and told my mom Don't worry I'll be looking out for my cousin and I got her back. And she always had my back and always will. 

The last time I saw Sharrie was before the Covid 19 pandemic. I hope to see her again soon, My favorite thing about her is her personality and her love for her family and God. She is an ambitious and smart person I love her with all my heart. I am glad to have her as my cousin and happy to have her by my side.

I am going to talk to you all about my Cousin Tia, she is filled with so much Joy and happiness. She makes my heart smile, I talk with her about everything just like I talk with my cousin Sharrie. Tia gives me wonderful and warm hugs. She always has a bright smile on her face every time I see her, I love her accent, It sounds so sweet and happy. She has two beautiful girls, I haven't had a chance to meet them yet, I am hoping I will get to soon. 

Tia is a wonderful cousin, She has such a jovial personality and has such joy in life. She can turns anyones day right side up, if it was upside down. She is very beautiful, she sends me pictures of my two beautiful cousins a lot. 

I miss her, that last time I saw her was at my grandfathers funeral and she gave me the biggest smile and hug ever.

 She said my hugs always make her feel happy inside. She is filled with Gods love inside and out. She also has a big love for family and friends too, she aways knows how to cheer me up if I am feeling sad, or if I am having a hard day. She always tells me to keep my head up and tells me she loves me more. She has different nicknames for me too, I am so glad god blessed me with Tia and Sharrie to be my cousins, they bring joy and happiness to my life. I remember one time when me and my mom went down to visit family, I saw Tia in the kitchen and I decided to go up to her and give her a hug. and she picked me up and put me on her knee, so we could take a picture together. Tia is very fun, uplifting, sassy and sweet at the same time. I love her with all my heart. My favorite thing about Tia is her hugs, they make me feel so loved inside and out. And make me happy. I am related to her through my uncle Warrie and my Aunt Carolyn. I decided to write about my cousins Sharrie and Tia because they are both bright and amazing people in my life, they mean a lot to me. And they are my family. I know and believe they will always be my side, and always be there for me if I need them to lean on. Thank You Sharrie and Tia for being wonderful and amazing cousins, and always being there for me and supporting me. I really appreciate it and you.

My Cousin Ria-A Woman of Poise

I will be writing about my cousin Ria, she is so beautiful. She is very kind and loving! She always puts a smile on my face.I have a lot of memories with my cousin Ria. I will share a few with you. My first memory is when we went down to Augusta Georgia. I was so happy to see her. I haven't seen her in a while. We gave each other a big hug & big smiles. 

 We talked with one another and did some catching up with each other. We took a picture together too the next memory I have Is at my cousin Aaron's graduation, the whole family was there to celebrate his big day. I had seen Ria from a distance. We waved to each other after the graduation was over, we said hello to each other and gave each other a big hug.Then we exchanged phone numbers and decided to become texting buddies. We have been in touch ever since. I Love hearing from her, it brightens my day. She is very encouraging and filled with a lot of love and joy. 

She is a very smart and a classy and fun woman. She is a woman of poise.We have fun together every time we see each other! She knows how to make me feel better when I am feeling unhappy or disappointed. She is like a big sister to me. She has a bright light that shines in the world. 

Another Memory I have Is while we are in this Covid 19 pandemic, I had to have my graduation from the career studies program that I am a part of at Penn State Harrisburg on zoom, she had a few things going on that day. She made time to come to my graduation and celebrate with me on my special day.  Afterwards I had a small gathering, I got to see her beautiful face on face time at my celebration zoom party. I was so happy and elated to see her, she was wearing my favorite color purple. That made me happy, I was so blessed and honored that she made it to my graduation on zoom. It made my whole week! 

I chose to write about my Cousin Ria because I love how full of joy she is.And I love that she is always positive.  I am related to her through my Uncle and Aunt. She loves her siblings. She is a wonderful cousin. My favorite thing about Ria is her smile and kindness.The last time I saw her was at a family reunion, J hope to see her again soon and give her a big hug! I love you Ria!

    

My Cousin Aaron Searles- A man of Honor

 I will be writing about my cousin Aaron Searles, he is an amazing person and cousin with a wonderful and generous heart. 

I love him very much, I have a lot of memories with my cousin Aaron I will share a few of them with you.  My first memory is when I first met him, It was at my Uncle Julius's birthday party. We had such a wonderful time. My mom and I decided to say hello to our cousins that we have not seen in a while and because we were in the moment at my uncles birthday party. I was so excited to meet my cousin Aaron for the first time.

 I told my mom before we went to see him that I wanted to give him some money. My mom said why? I said because I want to give him a gift and bless him. My mom said ok. We went up to him and I said hello how are you? And gave him a big hug, he had the brightest smile on his face, his smile can light up the room. I told him that I have a gift for him he said what's that? I said I have money for him it is a gift from me to you. He said Aww you are so sweet! Thank you so much! Aaron is a very smart man, he is from Charlotte North Carolina.

 He loves his family. And he adores his siblings, He loves his sisters he is very good at protecting them and being a good brother. He loves his brother too. He gives the best hugs they give me so much joy inside. Another fun memory I have Is watching  him graduate from college,  I was so proud of him, he is very encourage able, and very supportive. He is his dads trainer, he does an excellent job at it and he is very uplifting and has an amazing and calming spirit.  He is a very honorable person with his dad and sisters. He has a very high respect for his father. He respects his sisters very well.

He is very kind and loving and has excellent manners, he is a gentleman and he loves the lord. I chose to write about my cousin Aaron because, he means a lot to me, I love how strong his heart is for God and his family. He has an awesome personality that shines through him everywhere he goes. I love him very much. I am so happy to be his cousin. I am related to him through my Uncle Tony and Aunt Phyllis. 

My favorite thing about Aaron is his smile and hugs. The last time I saw Aaron was last year with my Aunt. I hope and look forward to seeing him again soon. He always cheers me up and encourages me. God blessed me with a wonderful cousin. Thank you for being you Aaron. 

My Uncle Tony and Aunt Phyllis Searles - Loving and Kind People

Good Evening everyone, I will be writing about my Uncle Tony and Aunt Phyllis. They are amazing, loving and kind people. They love their family and God very much! I have a lot of fun memories with them and I will share a few with you. My first memory that I have with my Aunt Phyllis is from my cousin Aaron's graduation from college. She looked so beautiful! It was the first time I had seen her in a while, the last time I had seen her was at my Uncle Julius's birthday party. At my cousin Aaron's graduation we said hello to each other and caught up with one another. After the graduation, we went out to eat to celebrate and we talked more then. 

The next memory I have with her is at my cousin Alyssa's wedding. We talked and danced to the cha cha slide which was so much fun; she is very sweet, has such a kind personality and is very poised. Another memory I have with her is when my mom and me met up with her and my cousins and my aunt and uncle in North Carolina to watch my Uncle Tony run! I gave her a big hug! I was happy I was able to see her and my cousins, and support my Uncle Tony. My Aunt Phyllis a wonderful and Strong woman of God, she has a heart of gold. 

I will now share with you a few memories I have with my Uncle Tony. He is a very smart, strong man of God and he is also a doctor. One memory I have with him is one time he came up to visit me and my family. We haven't seen him in a while that was a fun visit. I gave him a big hug when I saw him! He played with my dog Elijah. Another memory I have with him is when we went down to Charlotte North Carolina for Christmas, we were spending christmas with my cousin Kevin and his family. My family and I stayed in a hotel with my grandmother and my uncle. My uncle came up to visit us while we were staying there, we had breakfast together and we talked with one another. 

He is a very good runner. He puts everything he has into his running. He has always supported me and encouraged me. I love his personality, and his love for family. I love being his niece! He always has a smile on his face every time I see him and he always has a hug waiting for me.

My favorite thing about my Uncle Tony and my Aunt Phyllis is their big loving heart and kisses. I chose to write about them because they mean a lot to me and bring me so much joy. I love their family so much! They are a big blessing to me. They are wonderful parents and grandparents. One of my cousins is named Anthony, he is named after my Uncle Tony. He is very kind and loving too. I love him very much. 

My Cousin Kevin Gray! A Man with a Plan

Hello everyone, today I decided to write about my Cousin Kevin. He is a strong and great Man of God. I love him very much. Kevin is my first cousin, I am related to him through my Uncle Herb and my Aunt Joan. We have a lot of memories together, I will share a few of them with you. One of the memories I have with my cousin Kevin is when my grandparents were celebrating their anniversary on a cruise ship. All of my family was there and my grandparents friends were there too celebrating their anniversary with him. While we were on the cruise ship, my aunt Joan came over and talked with me, she said Emerald will you do me a favor? I said sure aunt joan she asked me if I would always watch out for Kevin, I said of course Aunt Joan, I would be happy too do that for you. Kevin has always been there for me and has always encouraged me. 

Another memory I have is at my Uncle Herbs repass, everyone was in the room and eating and talking with one another. I was sitting at the table talking with my family, and I looked over and saw Kevin standing in the corner, I decided to go up to talk to him and see how he was doing, I went up to him and I said hey Kevin how are you doing, he looked at me and said, hey Emerald Im doing fine. Then he said how are you doing, I said I'm doing good too. I gave him a big hug and I asked if I could take a picture with him, and he said of course. We took a picture together, and we were matching that day. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie and I was wearing a black dress with a red hairband the picture came out really nice. He is a wonderful father and his son's name is Kameron. I remember when I first met Kameron; he is such a handsome and happy boy. 

Kameron has the brightest smile! I remember holding him one time, I have gotten to hold him a few times when he was a baby, I remember this particular time when I got to hold him, we went out to eat at a restaurant, and I was holding Kameron and he smiled at me and put his cheek against mine. He gave me a hug and kissed my cheek. We took a picture together, he liked playing with my necklace. My other favorite memory with Kameron is my aunt sent me a video of Kameron, and she is saying my name to him, and he is smiling and laughing to the reaction of my name. That made my Heart smile. Kevin owns his own business and he does a fantastic job; he is a hard and determined worker. 

Exercise is really important to him as well, He works very hard at staying in shape and keeping up with his health. Him and Kameron are wonderful together, seeing them together makes me smile. Kevin loves Kameron so much. Kevin has a beautiful family; Markisha is a wonderful mother to Kameron he loves his mom and dad so much. 

Another wonderful memory I have with Kevin is, we went to Charlotte, North Carolina to celebrate christmas together with him and his beautiful family and we all had such a wonderful time. The first night we arrived, Kevin took my Grandmother, my mom and me out to see christmas lights. There were also lights on Christmas trees, the lights went along with the beat of the music it was so cool. And then Kevin took us to a little christmas scenery outing, they had a nativity scene, and different kinds of things inside, we had a lot of fun there too. We took a lot of pictures together. Kevin said Im going to have dreams of christmas trees tonight. We had such a wonderful and fun time celebrating christmas together as a big happy family. Kevin's family were wonderful hostess. They did such a wonderful and amazing Job, Its one of the best christmases I ever had and will always remember. 

Another amazing memory I have Is when I graduated from Millersville University in 2017, Kevin is so awesome, My graduation was the same day as one of his cousins, he came down from Charlotte North Carolina to pick up my Aunt Joan from Virginia, and My Grandma and Uncle Gary from Maryland to drive to Pennsylvania to celebrate my special day with me, He missed his cousins graduation, He told her congratulations and he is proud of her. He and my family chose to drive to Pennsylvania to watch me walk across the stage at Millersville University, Kevin is the man with a plan. He had the family ready to go and told them what time they would be hitting the road so they could make it on time to my graduation to celebrate my special day with me. It was the day of my graduation, my whole family was there and they all watched me walk across the stage, I heard my mom and grandmother yell yay Emerald! That made me smile. After graduation was over, I thought I would surprise my family by going over to the building where people could watch the graduation from a screen. I made my way over to the building, It was raining on my graduation day, I got to the building and the room where the people gathered to watch the graduation from a special room was empty. I was wondering what happened to everyone, My mom called me on the phone, she said all the family is here,  the family drove to the building where the graduation was being held. My mom said wait there, we will drive over to where you are and come and get you. I waited in the building, I saw my cousin Kevin walking toward me, He is really a gentleman, I was so happy to see him, He opened the door for me and gave me a big Hug! He said Congrats Emerald! You walked all the way over here by yourself? I said yes! He said thats a long way! He walked me over to the car and opened the door for me so we could head back to my house for a party! My Cousin Kevin knows my favorite color is purple. He wore purple just for me and to celebrate my special day. He purposely wore purple out of the kindness of his heart and to bless me on my special day. He makes me smile. 

 I just want to talk about my Aunt Joan and Uncle Herb for a second they are Kevin's parents. My Uncle Herb is and was an amazing Person and Uncle, My brother and me always had so much fun with him. When me and my brother would visit my grandma, he would make his way over and see us, he would take us on outings and do different fun things with us, He was big on black history and its culture, He would tell us different things about our history and he would take us drives and show us different things that were part of our history. He took us to a museum and we saw different paintings and other interesting things.

He also took us to see Fredrick Douglas house, we got too take a tour, and learn different and interesting things about him. Every time, I saw my Uncle Herb, He always had a big smile on his face, And he had the best laugh, It would fill my heart with so much Joy! A funny memory I have with him is, I will always remember, he took me and my brother to the movies, we saw Kung fu Panda. Thats a movie and special memory I hold close to my heart, We saw the movie together, when the movie was over, He had his boots off and he had fallen asleep in the movie theater chair aisle. My brother and I thought it was funny! He was always filled with so much Joy and kindness. I love him very much, He passed away, I miss him very much. I always hold him in my heart, I am grateful and blessed for the memories we were able to have together . One other special memory, I hold dear is My Uncle Herb and my grandmother drove from Maryland to celebrate my High School Graduation with me. They arrived at my house, It was time to leave to go to my High School Graduation, My Uncle Herb drove me to where my High School Graduation was at first he was a little lost, and could not find his way. Then he found a short cut to go on to where the high school graduation was being held. He was known in the family for finding shortcuts. We arrived before my Parents did. He got me there on time. That is a memory I will always treasure. I have a lot of fun memories with him.

 My Aunt Joan is a wonderful and beautiful lady, I love seeing her, she makes my heart smile. She has blessed me with a lot of wonderful and beautiful things. I remember seeing her for the first time in a while, It was at my grandmas house, I came in the house, I went in the little room, I saw her sitting on the couch and I said Aunt Joan! We gave each other the biggest Hugs, because we haven't seen each other in a while. I was so happy to see her, she has such a wonderful and big and Happy Heart, I am her little emerald and angel. We text each other all the time and stay in touch with each other, she even named a beautiful Purple Rose after me. She is so nurturing and kind, she has a lovely and happy voice too, She loves Kevin very much too! My Aunt Joan is very special and a wonderful and amazing strong woman of God. She always supports me and encourages me! I am so Happy  and thankful to have her as my Aunt I thank God so Much! 

I chose to write about My Cousin Kevin, because he inspires me because he shines his bright light for God and the world to see that makes me want to shine my bright light for the world to see too, he gives me the best hugs, They are always so warm and loving and filled with a lot of care. My favorite thing about Kevin is how loving and kind he is, And how his spirit is so strong and Majestic for God. I love his relationship with Kameron, It is so strong and loving,and real, It is filled with Gods love. The last time I saw Kevin was for christmas last year when we all celebrated together. I hope to see him and my family again soon once everything calms down. I know in my heart and believe that Kevin will always be there for and always be the wonderful and amazing cousin that he is now. I am very proud of Kevin, and I love him with all my heart! I am glad  that god blessed me with Kevin being my cousin! Thank you Kevin for inspiring me and always encouraging me and being there for me! I really appreciate it! 

My Grandma Ernestine

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful week. I will be writing about my grandma Ernestine, she is a very beautiful lady and very smart. She loves God, and her family, She has three sons and four grandchildren. She went to Bennett College in Greensboro North Carolina, she has siblings too. She loves traveling, and visiting friends and family.  My grandpa Gray and my grandma were a beautiful couple, they loved each other with their whole hearts. I have a lot of wonderful memories that I would like to share with you all. One of my memories is one time my grandma came over to visit with my family, she spent time with me and my brother, that was fun! We watched movies, we talked and hanged out with one another, she stayed for at a least a couple of weeks. We were really glad that she came on down from Maryland and stayed with us for a while. Another fun memory I have Is My grandmother and I got to go on a special trip together, we were going to an evangelist conference, that was featuring one of her favorite speakers, my parents drove me down to her house, and dropped me off. The next morning my grandmother and I headed to the airport for our flight to Orlando Florida, We stayed in a beautiful hotel, and they were really kind and had wonderful service. The conference was nice, my grandmother was so excited to see her favorite speaker talk and preach to everyone. 

In my life, my favorite Age was 16 years old, I had a wonderful sweet sixteen party, I have a wonderful friend named Mrs.Harriet and her husbands name is Mr. Jack, Mrs. Harriet has tea parties, My mom and I went over to visit when it was one of her days that she was doing a tea party, her tea parties are so much fun, she lets you pick out your own cup for tea from  her cabinet, every one of her tea cups has a story with it. All of her tea cups are beautiful. Her House is beautiful too, So Mrs, Harriet began the tea party, My mom and I began talking with her about how she's doing, and how her week has been, then we brought up my birthday, and I told her that I am turning sixteen. She said wouldn't be fun to have a sweet sixteen party here? I said that would be amazing, My mom said thank you so Much! That is so kind and generous of you! Mrs.Harriet is so sweet kind and funny. We did a lot of planning for my sweet sixteen, and got all the people that I wanted to invite. We sent out invitations and rsvp. The day came for my sweet sixteen, everything was so beautiful, the house was so beautifully decorated and the table was extravagant too. I was outside while everyone was inside, I wanted to make a special entrance. So I was waiting outside, my mom opened the door, and said Happy Birthday Emerald! I came inside and looked behind me and there was my grandmother, I was so surprised and happy to see her! I didn't know she was coming! She looked so beautiful! She was wearing a bright pink dress and she had a bow in her hair! I was so elated. 

She has always been there for me and encourages me, We always laugh together, and always have a wonderful time. She is a bright light that shines over our whole family, she makes everyone feel Joy inside, and always puts a smile on someones face! She is a wonderful mother to her sons, she loves them with all her heart. She is a wonderful preacher too, she really knows the word. She loves prayer, every time before we leave my grandmas house she always makes sure we pray. That was something we did with my grandpa gray too. She has held the tradition very well. 

I am related to my grandmother by my dad. My dad is her first son, I chose to write about my grandmother because she is a spectacular and fabulous woman of God. She has a wonderful heart that is filled with gods love and peace. I love her with all my heart!  She is always there for someone whenever someone needs her. My favorite thing about my grandma is her smile, it brightens up my heart and the room. I love her laugh. The last time I saw my grandma was l think last year. Hopefully I will see her soon. I am so happy to be her granddaughter.
