My Cousin Eric

Hey everyone! I would like to tell you about my cousin Eric. He is an amazing cousin, we have a lot of fun memories together. I remember when we were little my mom and me were visiting my cousins, Eric and me played in the pool, we held hands and played in the water. Eric is an outgoing person and has an exciting personality, he loves to hang out with his friends and family. I chose to write about Eric because he is an amazing person and sweet person.

 We are related by moms brother and sister in law and also by my cousin Devin his big brother. He is special to me because he has always been there for me and cheers me up with a big smile and when I hear from him with a text message. He is also special to me because I know that we have a bond that will never break and we will always be there for each other and have each others back. He's supported me through all of my life events and celebrations and always there to cheer me on. Some fun memories I with Eric are celebrating my Grandfathers birthday together in EL Paso, My aunt and uncle and my mom and cousins we planned a birthday party for him, we played games and gave him birthday presents. Another fun memory is celebrating my brothers birthday during a family reunion , My aunt planned out the birthday party for him,  my cousins and everyone celebrated his birthday with him we played a lot of games and had birthday cake! A fun memory I have with him is when I celebrated my birthday with my Texas family for the first time and I had the time of my life, We took a lot of selfies and a lot of fun celebrating together. He sent me a sweet Instagram post and said that I am beautiful that blessed my heart.

My favorite thing about Eric is his Personality and his heart.  He is very Funny, and very lively and can brighten up the whole room with his smile. I believe that there are a lot of wonderful things coming for  him. I love him very much and I am very happy to have him as my cousin. One more fun memory I have Is playing uno together with him and my cousin Devin and Vanesa. 

Anthony Evans Cameo

Hey everyone! How are you? I have a question for you all, have you ever heard of cameo? I recently found about cameo through Facebook. Cameo is where you can request celebrities to give you or your friend a shout out or sing happy birthday to them or give them advice or a pep talk.  I wanted to surprise my childhood friend with a cameo from Anthony Evans . I chose Anthony Evans because he has such a kind and genuine heart for God and People. He has a really bright Smile too that makes you smile too if you are having a rough day or sad. I knew that he would make my friends day because he could relate to her situation and I knew that he would have really good and encouraging words that would lift her spirit and encourage her. And to keep her head up and know that she's not alone. My friend has been a fan of his for a while too,we talked about him together one day, I asked her one day what is her favorite song by him and she said she loves So will I. I told her my favorite song is Raise a Hallelujah. So one day I asked my mom if she has ever heard of Cameo, and she said no and that we would talk about it after she has had her morning tea. I told her what Cameo is and how I wanted to bless my friend with a cameo from Anthony and how it would lift her spirits up and make her whole year. My mom agreed so I went to Cameo and looked up Anthony Evans name and requested that he gives her a pep talk and encouragement to make her smile and feel good! 

My mom and I worked on it together, We finished the request around nine thirty in the evening and right after we sent it I looked on my phone and it said that Anthony has seen the request. I was so excited for my friend to see her cameo from Anthony, I also sent him a picture of my friend so he could see what she looks like. The Email said to give him four days to complete the cameo, I told my mom that we should have it by Friday. The next day to my surprise my phone dinged and it was cameo saying Anthony Completed the Cameo and its amazing! I looked at the Cameo he did for my friend and it looked Outstanding, It really blessed my heart. The Cameo made me feel like he knew my friend for real because he was so genuine and real with it.  He sent the Cameo the next morning after I sent the request, I sent to my friend the Same day, I received a text from her I believe she felt really good and surprised by it and that it made her whole year. She told me that she couldn't stop watching it. Her Parents were really blessed by it too.

High School Musical

Hello Everyone! I have always loved Musicals! High School Musical is one of my favorite movies! High School Musical is about a group of High School students finding themselves and becoming their own person! High School Musical has two main characters Troy and Gabriella! They are the first main characters in the movie along with chad, Ryan, Sharpay and Taylor, Kelsi. Troy and Gabriella first meet at a New years Eve party, They both arrive at the karaoke party, a guy chooses them both from the audience to sing. Troy sings first and Gabriella at first is hesitant to sing then she how confident troy is in his singing then that gives her confidence to sing and they bounce off of each other with their singing. Everyone loves it. They get each others contact information, they see each other at school after winter break is over. They are both surprised to see each other, Gabriella tells him that she just moved to the area because its where her moms job moved to her too. They see that there are auditions for the spring musical .Troy and Gabriella sneak in to see the auditions for the spring musical, then Gabriella wants to audition for the musical, at first she doesn't have anyone to sing with, then Troy says I will sing with her, the drama teacher says they are too late to audition, Kelsi plays the piece for them and they start singing the piece the drama teacher hears them and says that you are in the show! They are both so excited! They end up singing together and continue singing together through all the movies.

 I decided to write on High School Musical this morning because it is a fun memory through my High School Years and one fun memory I have is from the third High School Musical Movie, I danced with my cousin Devin to can I have this dance?  I love the music and the message in High School Musical, It talks about how you will have your High School memories and friends with you! I first watched the movie    when I was in Middle school, and I did enjoy the first time I watched it and  memorized all the songs. My favorite song from High School Musical is Can I have this Dance? My favorite characters are Troy Bolton because he is so kind and loving, loves to sing. My other favorite character is Sharpay because of how sassy she is and how confident she is. I would recommend this to anyone who loves music and theater. I have watched the movie at least ten times.

Toy Story

Good Morning! Today I have decided to write about Toy Story. Toy Story is a wonderful movie, it's about a boy named Andy whose toys come to life when he leaves the room. Andy's favorite toy to play with is Woody, who is the Sheriff Deputy of the play group. The toys love when Andy plays with them because it makes them feel alive and loved. In the first Toy Story movie, all the toys are freaking out because it is Andy's birthday and the toys are worried because they think he will want to play with his new toys more than his old toys. The toys know that Woody is Andy's  favorite toy to play with but they think Woody will get jealous if Andy plays with a new toy more than he plays with him.

Woody is my favorite character because he is loving, kind, has a big heart, and a warm personality. What made me think of Toy Story as my topic for this article is because of how happy and delightful the movie makes me feel. It gives me such a happy and magical feeling inside and it draws away all of my worries and stresses that is happening in the world. In the moment you get to relive being a child again, and see how exciting it is for a child to play with toys. When I was in the hospital, God blessed me with a Disney experience; two of my favorite doctors looked like woody and Jesse! This made me smile and have joy in my heart. My favorite scene is in Toy Story 3; I really like the scene before Andy goes off to college and he stops at a little girls house and he sees her playing with her toys. So he goes up to her and asks if she would like some more toys to play with he tells her that they need another good home and a good person to play with them. He gives them to her one by one and explains who the toys are and what there names are.The last one left in the box is woody, she looks in the box and sees him she tries to take him and Andy takes him back at first, and said that he was going to take woody with him because he was his pal and best friend. He told her that woody has always been there for him and he is a loyal pal. He decides to give him to the little girl, he tells her to take good care of him. Before he leaves he plays with all of his toys one more time with the little girl which is what the toys wanted him to do.  My favorite movie out of all the Toy Story movies is between Toy Story 1 and 3. 

I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves toys and wants to relive their childhood.

Mamma Mia

Hey Everyone! Mamma Mia is one of my Favorite Musical Movies. It is so much fun and has amazing  music in it. It is my favorite movie because I have always loved music and I feel like I can relate to Donna, one of the main characters, because we both like traveling, She lives her life to the fullest. My favorite song from Mamma Mia is Dancing Queen because I love dancing. It makes me feel like a young child again I don't have to worry about anything. I can feel happy for a few minutes and just dance. Meryl Streep is a splendid actress and she plays Donna very well; I also really like her in Julie and Julia, In that Movie, She plays a character named Julia and she is a famous cook that comes up with different  recipes for her fans because she loves to cook and she loves food. And Amy Adams is also in the Movie, She Plays Julie, Julie looks up to Julia because of the kind of person she is and because she also loves to cook. So Julie starts a blog on different cooking recipes ones that Julia has made, Julie tells her followers on her blog what she is cooking and then references that Julia is the one that came up with the recipe. Everyone likes her cooking blog, that is why I am starting to like my blog because one of my Actresses comes up with a blog in a cooking movie. And a different actress named sara drew, She is in a few movies, you may know her from Grey's Anatomy she played Dr.Kepner. She is a Mommy Blogger in the Movie Moms Night Out. If you haven't seen it, Check it out. It is a wonderful Movie. I liked Blogging from that movie too! I love Movies!

 Meryl Streep is one of the main characters in the movie. Another one of my favorite songs from Mamma Mia is Mamma Mia, It gives me an exciting feeling in my spirit. Meryl puts her everything in the song and her spirit. If you haven't seen Mamma Mia before it is about a girl looking for her dad and finding out who she is, She wants to find out who her dad is  before she gets married because she wants him to walk her down the aisle the day of her wedding. Her mom does not know that her daughter has invited her dads to her wedding, she doesn't know that she is interested in finding him. Donna is the mother of Sophie, Donna is played by Meryl Streep. One Day Donna goes for a walk and looks inside a window she sees three men that she knows. She starts wondering where did they come from? How did they get to where she is? Then she bursts into song and starts singing Mamma Mia. She sings in different areas of where she lives to hide from the three men which one of them may be Sophie's dad. Finally Donna climbs up the stairs to where there is a rectangular door she has trouble opening it. There is this group of people behind her while she is singing and a guy that is behind her, she supposedly cant see that there is a group behind her, the guy opens the door and she falls through the hole into the room where the three men are. They told her she always knew how to make an entrance. 

Quarantine

Hello everyone, I hope you all are staying safe and enjoying quality time with your family and friends.   It has been a little rough for me since the start of quarantine. I have been taking care of my dog Elijah while also taking care of myself. My emotions have been up and down with the whole Corona virus happening. I really miss my friends, especially my family. This virus has also disappointed me because I was supposed to see my family this July, because of the Virus. I have been taking safety precautions by wearing a mask when I go out on outings and also wearing a face shield along with my mask. I know it does protect my face but it also fogs up really quick and it gets very hot. I don't really like wearing a mask because I can barely breath in it but I still wear it to keep myself safe and protected.

I am excited and anxious about school starting next month because I will get to see all my friends and professors again. But I am anxious because of the virus I haven't seen my friends in a while and I don't know what the virus will be like for them since they have been stuck in the house for a while. While being stuck in quarantine I have been doing a lot of activities. As you know, I recently started this new blog.  It has been fun so far and I have written at least seven articles so far. Because I have gotten a lot of views, I think people are liking my articles. I also have been my riding my bike; it has a little basket that Elijah can ride in; he really enjoys it and loves going on rides. I also recently went to City Island in Harrisburg and I got to see the pretty scenery and the beautiful water; I also saw the capital! Have also been doing some online shopping. I got a new computer mouse, dvd player, pop sockets, and a new phone charger! Being the Disney lover that I am. I am enjoying a lot of Disney plus because it has a lot of amazing Disney shows and movies. The first movie I watched On Disney plus was the Lion King, My Dad was like what a beautiful picture! He loved it. We have enjoyed a lot of Disney plus movies together. My favorite Disney movie is Tangled. It is a beautiful movie with a great moral lesson in the story. I think Rapunzel and I are both alike because we both like adventures, seeing new places and sights.

Being stuck in the house I don't have many people to talk to except my dog Elijah. He is my favorite pet and he is almost like a son to me. He really is the only person I can talk to through this virus and he understands me, He knows when I am feeling anxious or scared. He comforts me by giving me a hug or licks me. He is very special to me, He also has the cutest smile! I hope you all are finding fun activities and finding ways to have fun but to still stay safe.  I think Pennsylvania opening is a little fast because the virus isn't completely gone yet, but we still need to stay safe because no one wants to catch the virus and be stuck in the hospital for a long period of time!

Anthony Evans

I have a fantastic story. I met my favorite gospel singer, Anthony Evans. He is Tony Evans and Lois Evans son. I have been a fan of his since 2014. His sister is Priscilla Shirer, she is an evangelist speaker for women, who teaches them about God! I have been telling my mom for a couple of years, I wanted to meet Anthony Evans one day. She told me 'Ok! Look up his events and find out where he is going to be singing  at'. I looked up his events on my phone and found out he was going to be in Maryland! My mom told me 'Ok, let me know the dates and we will go'. A couple of days before the concert, my mom was on her way home from work, she was listening to the radio and heard of a couple of Anthony Evans songs, she called me and said that God told her that I am going to meet Anthony Evans that I should be ready! I got my CDs together and my book that he wrote to get ready for him to sign. I also got a card for him because his mom passed away. The day finally arrived! My mom and I were on our way and when we arrived at the church my mom saw Anthony on the screen in the lobby. She went over to the lady working behind the desk and asked her is he live and really here?  The lady said yes he is really here! I had to run to the restroom quick, when I came out my mom said 'Hurry Emerald Hurry! You won't believe it, Anthony Evans was in the middle of the room'. 😃 We quickly got in line, the line wasn't long at all. My mom said 'hurry Emerald get your stuff ready for him to sign'. I had to sign his card and envelope quick to give it to him. 

It was finally my turn. I told him he is my favorite singer and I love his music. He asked where we are from, we said Pennsylvania. He said thank you for coming down and he saw how much I have read his book.  I got my picture taken with him, got his autographs, then it was time for worship service before service he asked if we are coming to the concert we said yes. He sang a few of his songs, then had a mini interview with the pastor. The pastor said Anthony will be back tonight with a concert. After church, my mom and I headed out into the lobby, a couple minutes later I get to see Anthony again and he gave me a hug, he was so happy to see me again. So then my mom and I decided to do some shopping and have some lunch before the concert. We went to the mall, and there was a stand with different t-shirts with pictures on them. I asked my mom if I could get a T-Shirt made with my picture with Anthony on it. She said would you wear it to the concert? I said yes, so we got the T-Shirt made with one of his songs from his album. I put Raise a Hallelujah on the T-Shirt because it is one of my favorite songs from his album.

We arrived back at the church concert ready and people started arriving and really liked my shirt. They said Anthony will love that. It was then time to go inside the church for the concert, We all went inside to the lobby, they then let us in the room, Anthony came out, the first song he sang was Raise a Hallelujah. He was singing then he saw me in the audience and saw the shirt, He loved it he smiled a big smile on his face:). A couple of hours later in the concert I waved to him and he said 'Hello Emerald come up on the stage'. I couldn't believe it!

It was a glorious and triumphant moment in my life. I went up on the stage, he told everyone 'I want you to meet my sweet little friend Emerald. Her and her mom came all the way down from Pennsylvania. I want you all to see this shirt, Isn't this amazing?' He loved it! He said thats the picture we took together this morning. He asked where i got it done, I told him the mall. He then said tell my assistant Anthony said that you can have anything you want. I said thank you so much. He said I am so glad you came. I am so glad god blessed me with such a wonderful moment. I will forever remember. During the quarantine, He has done a couple of LiveWorshipping Videos, And gave me a couple of shout outs during them. He remembers me!

Happy Birthday Vanesa!

Hey everyone! I recently made a new friend and her name is Vanesa. She is my Big Brother Devin"s girlfriend. They look beautiful together! I met her officially in person on my birthday. She is really sweet! She is a family person and a very happy and caring person. She has a big heart for people and family and friends. She gives really good advice! And always lends a hand to help others. When we first Met, She welcomed My Mom and I with flowers! It really blessed our hearts.

I am so happy to have her as one of my friends. She helped me get my birthday outfit together and made sure that I looked good.She really loves my family, that makes me Happy to see how much she cares for Devin, that makes my heart happy. She Helps out my family whenever they need anything. One of the things I did with Vanesa and Devin when I was on my birthday trip in El Paso was going to the Disney Store! They took me shopping at the outlets! That was so much fun! She always had a smile on her face when I would greet her. She also helped me with my makeup and gave me a manicure and Pedicure! She gave me a wonderful Birthday that I will always remember! I am so Elated that Devin found Vanesa, And that he is happy. They bring out the best in one another. When I looked at them together, I could see the love they have for one another in their eyes and Spirit! I am glad i got to spend time with Vanesa on my birthday and learn about her. She is really special! I hope she  has a wonderful and fulfilling life! I hope that they will always be Happy together!

Mickey Mouse and Me!

I love Disney and I have loved Disney since I was a little girl! It makes me feel so happy and magical! It all started when a lot of people blessed me with Disney presents when I was younger. Hearing Disney songs would always put a smile on my face. Mickey Mouse always makes my day when I see him. When I saw him on my Birthday he sang, Happy Birthday to me but he sang it as 'Happy Birthday to my Girlfriend'! That made me laugh and smile. Don't tell Minnie Mouse ;)

Every time I go to Disney, I feel like a little kid again. I have beean to Disney at least 25 TIMES!! It is such a big part of my childhood, Mickey Mouse is my favorite character! He is so kind and loving.

 Magic Kingdom is my favorite park in Walt Disney World! It is filled with so much joy, laughter, and music! I always make my way to find all the characters, get their autographs and pictures with them. Because I have been there so many times, I know my whole way around the park, My mom and I always get stuck on Main St USA because thats where all the characters are. 

I also love all the Disney Movies and my favorite Disney movie is Moana because she goes on a Journey to protect her land and her family! The Disney Princesses are nice too! My favorite Disney Princess is Princess Belle, because she loves to read and sing! I have loved singing since I was a little girl! I was involved in chorus in High School for four years! It was a wonderful moment in my life! My dream is to work at Walt Disney World! I will always love Mickey Mouse!! I will always love Disney World too! If I could I want to live Disney World forever!!

A special note. Today is the Passing of a special Person, He was a wonderful Human Being and A Great Role Model for Children! He was a wonderful Actor And Disney Channel Star! Cameron Boyce! Please keep his family and friends in your Prayers! He was an Extraordinary Human Being! He will always be remembered ! He was one of my favorite Actors and Disney Stars! Please remember Cameron Boyce and His family! 

My Cousin Devin!

My Cousin Devin is one of my favorite Cousins! He is an amazing Cousin! He helped my mom take care of me when I was a baby! He has always been by my side! I love him so Much! He is very Energetic, and very Jovial! He always puts a smile on my face! He is my Big Brother! We have a lot of fun Memories together! One Memory I can remember is when we were in Albany Georgia for a family reunion! And Devin and I were playing Outside, I wanted to get on the trapeze bar! And I couldn't quite reach it, Devin came out and Picked me up, I could reach the bars! He held me up and wouldn't let me fall! Another fun memory I have is when we went to Disney World together, Devin wanted to sit with me the whole time! I thought that was so sweet! He and My Cousin Eric and My Aunt Erica also came up to visit us, We all went to Hershey Park that was so Much Fun! Before Devin left, We took a picture together in the Kitchen, And the Most Incredible thing happened, I could hear his Heart beating. That felt so Magical to me! 

When I was in My Senior Year, My Exciting Year of School! At My Graduation Party, It was time for a special Dance. I felt like a Princess! Devin and I Danced together! I felt like the Only Person in the room! It was a wonderful Moment! I will never forget!

I have many more lovely Memories, I am now bringing it to a conclusion! When I was a student at Millersville University!  I went on an exciting trip to Watch My Cousin Devin Play football in Virginia Norfolk University. I was so Happy to see him and Support Him! He had the Biggest Smile on His face! I was so Happy to give him a big Hug! He gives the Best Hugs! He has a smile that lights up the whole room! I will always love Him! Im so Happy and blessed  that he is my Big Brother and Cousin!  1 Corinthians  13 4;8 Love never fails! 

My Birthday/ Fourth of July

Hello  Everyone.  I hope you all are having  a wonderful Weekend! I recently celebrated my 23rd Birthday In Elpaso Texas! I had a wonderful Birthday, I love my Texas Family so much! I have been wanting to celebrate my Birthday In El Paso Texas ever since I can remember. How I decided to celebrate my birthday in EL Paso, is My mom and me were talking one day, She said where would you like to celebrate your Birthday? We were at first thinking about California, That is where one of my Best friends since Childhood lives. My mom said if we celebrated there we could go to Disneyland. So I decided to do a voting Poll on Facebook. to see which Place People would say to go to. Some people said California because of Disneyland, And seeing my friends. Other People said EL Paso because of my family, and I haven't seen them in a while. I then decided to ask my Uncle and Aunt about celebrating my Birthday In EL Paso, They both said sounds like a fun Idea, My Uncle said come to the Sunshine State. I decided On El Paso, My mom and me made a Travel date to go out to EL Paso, My Family was so Excited! I was very Excited too! We Packed our bags and were ready to go! We almost missed our plane ! We got up late, We ended up making it on the Plane and to EL Paso! We arrived and we were both so Happy! We were Welcomed with Open Arms and a lot of Hugs and Smiles! And we were welcomed with Beautiful flowers too! I was so Happy to see my Cousins!! My Special Cousins Devin and Eric! Devin is a wonderful Cousin! We are very close! He is one of my Best Friends! Eric is Awesome too! He has an Amazing Smile! It really lights up the room! Devin has a bright smile too! They light up my Heart! Devin and Eric have always been there for me! Devin made a special Birthday note for me on a Jar! It said Happy Birthday Emerald! with a smiley face on the bottom! My friend Vanesa Helped Me a lot when I was in El Paso, too She took me shopping, and Helped me get my Birthday Stuff together! She is very Sweet! Devin and Vanesa Blessed me with Amazing Shoes! and a Beautiful Bracelet! And Devin and Eric,Vanesa also gave me Croc stickers for my Birthday! My Birthday Party was amazing,They really gave me a fantastic Party, They had up Birthday Streamers, and a princess crown, and a birthday Sash. And Beautiful Balloons! It made me feel so Special and Happy! My Birthday Cake was so delicious! My Aunt Made it for me!  It was a cheesecake, A sugar free Cheesecake! That is what I am planning to have for my fourth of July Dessert! The Wonderful Dessert My Aunt Made for me! I am so Happy I was able to celebrate my Birthday with my Wonderful family that I love so Much! I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July with your family!

You have been through a lot of Challenges and troubles! You have made it through it them! You made it to 23 Years old! You have had an amazing 23 Years of life! Thank You for showing me what an incredible and talented Woman I can be!! And knowing that you have a wonderful family that Loves you very much and is always in your Corner! You are very Brave and Confident! And always striving for your Dreams! Just like your Aunt Joan told you, God brought you in the family for love! Always Remember who you are!!! My first Blog!

Hello Everyone, Its Emerald! This is my first new Blog, It is July 1st. We made it to July! I hope you all have  a very exciting July 4th Weekend!

I have a dog Named Elijah, He is very Cute and friendly. And He is very sassy at times just like me Lol!

 

It took me a while to get a dog! I had to write a lot

of letters of how responsible I would be if i get a dog. It took my mom till Middle School to finally let me a dog. Because my Neighbor across the street, had the same breed of dog that Elijah is, My mom noticed his dog when she was taking a walk one day, she noticed how nice he was and calm. She asked him all kinds of questions about his dog, and where he got him, He gave her a card. My mom was surprised that she was even considering getting a dog. One evening she said Emerald come with me to the store, I said ok. I noticed as we were driving that she passed a couple of stores. I said Mom where we are going, She said a surprise, We arrived at our destination , And a woman came out and said. Are you ready to see the Puppies? I was confused and excited at the same time. And Elijahs moms name is Daisy! We went in the House, And the lady led us down to the Basement, There were a lot of puppies, They were all so cute! My mom said pick one! I was so excited! I looked at all the puppies, I had chosen one, That one was already picked, I put that one down, The lady said let the puppies come to you. I let the puppies come to me. And Elijah Kept Coming to me! I knew he was the one! He is the baby of the whole litter! The name  Elijah kept running through my mind, Thats how I figured out what his name would be! He represents his name very Well! One Vacation we went on, The Hotel that we stayed at, One of the Workers said I can tell you both love each other very Much! Elijah is the Best Dog Ever! He is very Funny, And Kind, always makes me laugh! He gives me Hugs too! The Dog my mom saw before i got Elijah, was his Brother his name is Willie! Willie is so adorable and Cute! Unfortunately he passed away. Im so Happy to have Elijah! He is an Amazing Dog! I am very Happy he is mine! He loves Ice Cream too! And He loves to eat! And all the Snacks my mom gives me! He is also a ladies dog! Lol! He is very protective of me:)
